Pros:

-Works fast

Cons:

- dry skin for the first 2-3 weeks

im 18 and my acne started when i was 15 i have an amazing diet eating 5 fruit and veg, atay away from dairy, drink about 2.5Lt water a day im also very active and i exercise alot. about a year and a half ago i went to the doc after trying evetything that i could buy from shops he gave me this and to start off it dried my skin out and made my cheeks a bit red but it worked amazing for 8 months then when i started college again i started to slowly bfreak out again and around my birthday it seemed to stop working completly. i went hack to the doc and he gave me antibiotics and ive been on them for about 2months and a week they havent really worked. i have no idea what to do next as as my forehead is staring to break out and i never get them there or my nose chin or temples just my cheeks. nexts step is accutane and the doc told me i have no chance to get on that because my skin isnt that bad but im so depressed from my acne coming back i cant even go out and meet my pregnant girlfriend want to get clear for the birth in novemeber but i see no hope. someone HELP!!!

Pros:

Initially clears acne right away
Last a long time

Cons:

Drying
Expensive

I pay $63 bucks for this in Canada without insurance. At first it will clear my acne within about 48hrs. Then it seems to gradually go down hill as my skin gets used to it. The trick is not to use it as a spot treatment like most people do. The instructions even say to rub a thin layer over your problem areas so that it stops new blemishes from surfacing. Good stuff I just wish it didn't lose its effectiveness and it breaks the bank too.

Pros:

Clears up acne fast
Gets rid of big pimples
Works quick

Cons:

Sometimes drys white
May dry skin
Skin may feel tight for an hour or two

This product is the bread and butter of what I use on my face. It clears up acne and it stays clear. I have been off and on with this product so I could try out others but i always fall back on this one. Your skin takes about two weeks to get used to the drying that it does (after that your skin won't dry up much) but that's ok. So I recommend you use this stuff and get rid of your acne!

Pros:

apparently supposed to clear up moderate acne

Cons:

dry and itchy face
expensive if insurance doesn't cover it
takes awhile to work

i just got this prescribed to me by my doctor and i've been reading lots of reviews about it and a lot of people are very pleased with their results. i have pretty bad acne on both my cheeks, chin and forehead. first week of using it, my acne seems to be getting smaller, but not clearing up. i'm hoping to see the results that everyone's been getting with this in about a month or 2. i've been getting a lot of discomfort from the way my face gets really dry after applying the gel. but a good moisturizer helps. so good luck to everyone who uses this!

Pros:

For short periods of time it works

Cons:

It's not consistent at all

I used Duac along with Differin, and washing my face every day and my acne became worse than just using off the shelf-acen clearasil products. Before I took these products my acne was moderate, after Duac my acne became severe.

Pros:

Works fast, easy routine!

Cons:

Dries my skin out, especially in winter.

Been using this for a year, and it really works for me! The only time I have problems is when I forget to put it on at night, which is completely my fault. Works millions of times better than anything I've used, which includes ProActiv, and is such an easy routine. Put it on in the am after a gentle face wash, put it on in the evening after a gentle face wash. I have tried a few different moisturizers for the dryness, including Arbonne and Clean and Clear. Am going to try Aveeno and Cetaphil now. Now if only it would get rid of my scars at the same time it's keeping the acne at bay it would be a miracle!

Pros:

Clears up acne

Cons:

None

I have used everything on the market and nothing has worked except for this. I have been using this product for over a year now and I have no problems with acne, except occasional (like when I go to sleep in my makeup which is entirely my fault). I constantly receive compliments on how pretty my skin is. I wash my face with a gentle cleanser like Noxema or a Microbead cleaser. I use Cetaphil as a moisturizer. You should definitely try this product. It is great!

Pros:

works pretty well.

Cons:

drys out skin, but nothing a little moisturizer and humidity can fix.

if you have moderate to severe acne, use it.. Especially if you have oily skin, it will dry it out thus drying out your pimples. I usually scrub my face in the shower to remove excess skin that b-clin dries. Just make sure your consistent with it.. it needs time to build up and kill acne. & Be sure to use face moisturizer and wear good non pore clogging sunscreen.
