Pros:

works great.prevents huge breakouts, reduces inflammation and severity of existing acne..and clears acne up fast.

Cons:

expensive without insurance.(but soo worth it!) Cant really wear it in daytime.will get some small pimples here and there.

I love this stuff. Best acne treatment I've found in 5yrs with acne. I wish I found it sooner. I only use it at night. So if I used it 2 x's daily as reccommended I may not ever get any pimples.

Pros:

Gets to work after a few days if you use it correctly.

Cons:

For such a small amount its pricey.

This stuff is very good worked like a charm but if your a teenager dont think that this is miracle cream you will still get the odd bit of acne bou no more unsightly spots. Acne sufferes know what im saying when i say that you feel you can never look clean but DUAC can really help.

Pros:

It works well in the 1 week that I don't have hormonal flare-ups

Cons:

It doesn't work at all for the rest of the 3 weeks during the month.....in fact, I think it made my skin worse.

I have tried everything under the sun to control my hormonal acne. Every time my dermatologist gives me the "one" medication that should work. I was excited about duac since my cousin used it for 1 year and had perfectly clear skin. After a year, it stopped working for her. Regardless, one year of clear skin sounded awesome. It didn't work for me. 4 weeks into it, my skin was worse than when I started it. My derm told me to stick to it...."give your skin a chance to adjust". Three months later and I still break out terribly one week before and one week after my period. The duac did nothing to help. I am at my wits end with hormonal acne. Nothing seems to work.

Pros:

Really easy to use, doesn't smell

Cons:

Red, burning, flaking skin, Expensive even with insurance

I use Duac every morning and Tazorac every night so its hard to say which one is more responsible for the results or side effects I've been seeing, but my face has gotten much much clearer. Still not perfect, but I have only been using these products for 1 month and I'm told i'll see full results after 4. My face has gotten soo sensitive, even normal face moisturizer burns, as does my face wash. When I put on the Duac my face turns bright red, and the whole thing is cracking and peeling, definitely not fun, but much better than how it was before with all the acne! I'd definitely suggest trying these products, they're easy to use, and the results are pretty satisfying.

Pros:

Shrinks pores & dries up oil glands that are creating an overdose of oil which creates pimples & acne.

Cons:

Your skin may get worse in the next two weeks but afterwards, your skin will heal along with acne & pimples.

Benzaclin is a fairly efficient product to use. If you're skin is sensitive, dry or starting to peel from using this antibiotic, try using the cream for only once a day instead of twice. Yes, you'll feel dryness & get visible redness spots, but still it's worth the result at the end

Pros:

my skin is clearer, my blackheads are gone, and i am one happy girl=)

Cons:

peeling, dryness, sensitivity

im 24 and three years ago, out of no where, i started getting acne and horrendous blackheads on my t-zone. i seriously tried every otc product to get control of my skin, but NOTHING worked. my doctor just prescribed benzaclin a week and a half ago, and i am very pleased. it's definitely drying and i have some peeling, but Olay sensitive skin lotion seems to be keeping it at bay.

Pros:

None for me. Hasn't had time to make a difference.

Cons:

Only used this 5 times and my face looks like I have been badly burnt and is extremely sore.

I guess this just isn't the product for me. I was very tentative and only used a tiny amount and my face has been burning constantly ever since the first use. My chin has swollen up and looks absolutely awful. People never really stared at me that much before even on my worst acne days, but now they wonder if I have some wierd disease and gawp. Will never use again. Hope to god these burns on my face go away!

Pros:

Have been using it for about two weeks and my skin is almost perfectly clear. Applies as a gel and isnt noticable its on. Doesn't overdry your skin or make it feel greasy.

Cons:

None as of yet.

I only had mild to moderate acne so if you fall within this range i suggest giving this product a good go. Couldn't be happier with the results seen thus far.
