Pros:

Fragrance free and didn't cause much irritation such as peeling, fortunately.

Cons:

Made me break out even worse and the spots that i had were so sore and took ages to heal. Accentuated the appearance of previous acne scars. The benzoyl peroxide bleached some of my clothes. Feels really weird when you wash it off in the morning.

The cons made me return to the doctor after 6 weeks, and i'm now trying an alternative treatment.

Pros:

Great product , works overnight on a stubborn pimple making it less visible when you wake up. Clears up your acne and prevents them. Very good!

Cons:

Can dry at first and may stop working as well after long months of usage but still works well

I highly recommend this product, it cleared up my face within months. Give it time to work and you won't regret it. Its actually the only product that works for me and I absolutely love it

Pros:

After time, clears out skin very very well. Occasional stress/menstrual zit, but other than that, my face WAS fine.

Cons:

Dried out the skin for the first week or so.

About a year after I had first gotten benzaclin, disaster struck. I got 2 huge nodules bigger than 2 pencil erasers, and countless other mini-nodules over 3 weeks, right around my year mark for using benzaclin. It works for awhile, but after a year or so, your skin adapts to it, and it fails to work. Sigh.

Pros:

Cleared my skin up after about a month of use, helped with cysts a great amount and dries up oil skin produces so if used in the morning can keep skin less oily throughout the day

Cons:

Stopped working after a few months and i am still continuing to use it in the day time along with differin at night

Defenitly a product to be considered for all with acne prone skin, i did not see drying on my skin and it is great for clearing as well as maintaining clearer skin

Pros:

Makes your entire face red so it looks like you have no acne.

Cons:

Drying to the tenth power!! Made my skin irritated and and that caused me to break out even more.

Pros:

it seriously works

Cons:

it may dry your skin at times..

i have adult acne and was thinking about acutane, my husband anc cousin told me not to go thru with the acutane,my cousin had recommended duac, because she uses it and her skin is flawless, well anyways i had asked my dermatologists and i got duac by june4th and started using it right away, it didnt burn my face like other meds, and i could feel a difference the next day, by 2 weeks it was clearing up.. it is now july 27th and my faced cleared up and i continue to use it to keep it that way. i just prolly need to get some laser done for the scarring ..lol

Pros:

I love this stuff! It works well. It doesn't cause major irritation and helps control oil on my skin.

Cons:

Can be drying in some areas... I find around the nostrils it gets bad. It's also wicked expensive.

If you have very sensitive skin, it may be too drying. Otherwise I say try it! It seems to work well for me, and when I go off it I don't really get bad breakouts.

Pros:

it helped clear me up in about 3 months

Cons:

does dry the face but use a moisturizer for that a bit of dryness is the least

i started suffering with acne 2 years ago i would get the odd pimple on my forehead then it spread to my cheeks so i went to my doctor and he prescribed duac once daily gel for me i started using it for a week but didnt see any changes so went back to my gp and he told me to have patients u need to give it time to work so hear i am 3 months later with a totally clear face it really does wonders belive me.

Pros:

Well ive used it for about 2 weeks now and i havent seen very much improvement. In fact i broke-out 2 days agos. im hoping that just means it gets worse before it starts to kick in?!?!?!

Cons:

Hasnt made any improvment, just one break-out

its most likely better then any other treatment suchas proactive
