Pros:

Very good for sensitive skin and works almost instantly. I could feel my skin getting better the first time I used it.

Cons:

The smell is bothersome, but its worth it.

It's a very good product and I'd recommend it for sure. It really does work.

Pros:

It works for me!

Cons:

Might be a little smelly, but that's a small price to pay for clear skin.

I've been battling severe, sudden-onset acne rosacea on my forehead for the past six months, and my skin was suddenly producing excess oil by the gallon. Nothing else I used, including prescription meds, really worked, but after just two days of using Clenia wash and cream, my skin cleared up completely, and my oil problem was under control. I am truly amazed. It's taken me months to determine my acne and rosacea triggers, but now, between avoiding those and using Clenia, I feel really good again. This is by far the most effective product I've ever used.

Pros:

Works quickly and well

I had small pimples on my back as a side effect of Lamictal. Nothing worked. Clenia worked almost immediately. I haven't had a problem with "backne" since!

Pros:

Totally cleared up my BAD acne.

Cons:

The generic isn't that great.

I used this my freshman year of highschol when my acne was real bad and within a few weeks it was all cleared! My grandmother had the prescription for her rosacea, but she said it was suppossed to help acne too and gave her extra bottles to me. It worked great, but now she uses something else and I don't get the prescription and the generic I don't think is very good although it is kind of old.

Pros:

I have sensitive skin and can usually use Clenia wash without irritation. With regular use, helps with facial redness and also, to some degree, with acne. Smells better than many other sulfur products.

Cons:

It doesn't really smell great, but I don't really mind it, either; it doesn't smell terrible. Many pharmacies don't regularly have this in stock so you may have to wait a couple of days to get it. Must be used with other meds for mod-severe acne.

If you can tolerate sulfonamides and sulfur, Clenia wash may be a good choice for a medicated facial soap, as part of an overall treatment regimen for acne and/or acne rosacea, for sensitive, acne prone skin that is easily irritated by benzoyl peroxide or acids. Contrary to the product description, I have never been able to get this product to foam much at all. I can only speak from my experience, but Clenia helped significantly with my facial redness and to some degree helped with my acne. The improvement of my skin's redness is significant enough that I would use Clenia even if that were the only thing it did. I had pretty severe cystic acne in the past and the Clenia wash alone is not enough to keep my skin clear from acne;I must use it with other meds. But I really love that the Clenia is gentle enough to use along with other topicals and also helps some with my acne. If I could tolerate other medicated washes, I might switch to something cheaper. But I like

Pros:

Helps clear up skin.

Cons:

Causes dryness (not excessive) and doesn't prevent breakouts from happening.

Helps keep skin under control when used with other products, but not a rapid solution.

Pros:

The Clenia Emoillent Cream works fast!

Cons:

The sulfur smell, a little pricey.

I use Cetaphil emoillent cleanser and I then use the Clenia Emoillent cream under my makeup and before bed at night. This stuff works very fast! In just a few hours the pimple goes down in size, is less red, and dries out enough that you can't feel it's there. This stuff never makes my skin flake either....I swear by this product. :)

Pros:

I used this for about a year, then stopped because I moved and my doctor had never heard of it. I've been back on it for about 2-3 weeks and there is a significant difference. My skin in clear day. I also use Duac Topical Gel and Lotion.

Cons:

The smell isn't the best, and it doesn't foam like it says.

I would most definetly recommend this for people that have moderate to severe acne. It actually works and it's affordable. You get used to the smell also.

Pros:

-cheap (with insurance)
-makes skin really soft.
-Clears acne and helps just over all appearance of skin.

Cons:

It smells, so what, get over it.

It makes your skin feel really soft and smooth. I have used it for awhile now (about 6 months?) I came off of it for a couple of weeks just because I ran out and was too lazy to go to Walgreens. I instantly noticed a difference in my skin, my cystic acne came back. I've had acne for years. Ive been on everything you can think of (seriously) differn, birth control, retin a, pro active, an asortment of antibiotics and so on. Just try the wash. It works pretty well, worth a shot.
