Pros:

NONE!

Cons:

Severe burning of skin
Pain
Causes dry skin

Don't use this product! It burned my skin even though I only left it on for 2 minutes. Now my face is as red as a tomato and I have white circles around my eyes where I didn't put it. My face feels like it was severely sunburned. -Hot to the touch and bright red. It is also really dry. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Label says it is not for those with severe sensitive skin. Mine isn't severely sensitive and now I look and feel horrible! :0(

Pros:

-Inexpensive
-Nice texture
-Reputable brand name

Cons:

-Burned my sensitive skin
-Turned my face a frightening shade of red which lasted for a couple days
-Burned.
-Made me break out
-Burned. Really, really bad.

Before you try using this as a cleanser or a mask, you should try washing your face with molten hot lava and see how much you enjoy that. If you enjoy it, proceed with using this product. In all fairness, I have dry, sensitive skin with very light, basically non-existent acne. The only reason I was breaking out at all is because I used a product that was specifically for acne (probably the Neutrogena Deep Clean Cream Cleanser, though I can't remember for sure). Since it was too harsh for my face, it made me break out, so I had to search for something to clear the breakout, which made me breakout more, etc. etc. Vicious cycle, I know. Anyhow, I think I'm likely allergic to benzoyl peroxide, or very very sensitive to it at the least. But I was in a Neutrogena phase and I gave my skin a little too much credit, thinking it could take this sort of medicated mask/cleanser. All I know is that my skin burned like fire, was red and irritated for several days, and started breaking out worse, so much that it took a few weeks to finally clear it up. I was very disappointed and frustrated with this product, as Neutrogena is pretty well known for creating products that won't screw your face up. Like I said, my skin is dry and very sensitive and not acne-prone at all. And in all honesty, I should have known better. This product may be good for you if you have super oily, super acne-prone skin that is not sensitive in the least bit. It may work great for that. But if you're sensitive in the least, there's no way this product will work for you. It's super harsh and will irritate the skin beyond recognition!

Cons:

gave me acne.

i have dry cheeks, oily nose and chin, a few closed comedones and blackheads. OH MY GOD why did i ever use this. salcylic acid is like hydroclauric acid on my skin. dry, flakey, peeling around nose, makeup looked awful when i put it on. gave me countless blind pimples on my cheeks and chin, tiny but prominent ones on my forehead. SO HARSH. face stripped of all natural oils so skin started compensating=acne. what i use now: ella bache products. i LOVE them. ampoule marin for blind pimples is a godsend.

Pros:

Felt refreshing on skin...Gave me some hope that it would work in clearing up my breakout.

Cons:

WAY too harsh for sensitive skin.

It cleared up some of my breakouts for a couple of days but then it lashed back and (just like some person below) made me get soo many little bumps all over my forehead, cheeks, and around my jawline. And it did the exact same thing to my friend who used it! I don't know what to do because the bumps are much more stubborn than single larger zits I used to get. It made things a lot worse...does anyone know how to get rid of all the little bumps?? I stopped using this stuff a long time ago and I switched to much gentler things, which haven't kept me completely clear, but have soothed things down...I wouldn't recommend this at all...
