Carley's : Clear and Smooth Skin Treatment

It has you following a weird regimen but I figured i'd try to do this just like it said because of all the raving reviews. WHAT are you all talking about? This destroyed my skin, I broke out worse than ever. I have whiteheads and blackheads but this gave me cystic acne! Sides of my nose, cheeks, forehead. I am so embarrassed and disgusted with myself. If this is a "purging" process then it isn't worth it. This is NOT a miracle cure. Washcloths and soap are a NO-NO always. I should have stuck with what I know. DO not try this unless you want to completely ruin your skin. :(

This product did not personally work for me, but I still respect their product and think they have a wonderful thing going. While customer support was fast, I was always treated rudely and poorly. I was accused of giving up and was harassed all because I sent an e-mail asking if I was doing it wrong. I have pustules, and they told me to use a washcloth to "exfoliate" every morning and I showed concern because that is basically just like popping a pustule which can result in hyperpigmentation and scarring and they assured me this wouldn't happen but here I am, with hyperpigmentation and scarring from the regimen. Overall, a lot of people have/will have success with this product. I think the product is good, although it didn't personally work for me, and you should definitely give it a try if you are debating it. I am now using a dermatologist prescribed cleanser that is working wonders for me but I wish Carley's and anyone else who uses them the best of luck!

I've been going to the dermatologist for 7yrs...sometimes I'd spend 80 a month on prescriptions and that was with really good insurance. I was fed up with constantly going back because the products would quit working in about 2 months. One of my friend's sisters told me about Carley's and when I used it for the first time I could instantly tell a diff and now I'm addicted. I LOVE their stuff! A little about my skin: I am a male with oily, sensitive skin, and I rarely get acne worse than whiteheads and blackheads. However, this stuff (I used the extra-strengtha formula) exacerbated my acne problem: within days, it gave me big bumps deep underneath my skin, red patches, and a lot more whiteheads than I was used to. I stuck to the instructions religiously and had faith in it, but sadly, it never worked for me. I used it for a little over three months before tossing it in the garbage and going to a dermatologist to seek a real treatment. In my experience, these "home remedies" or "homemade" products tend not to have been commercialized for a reason: they don't work. For anyone interested, I ditched this stuff in favor of prescription Benzaclin, which has done wonders for my skin. Luckily, Mylan now offers a $10 generic version. If someone had the same problems I did with Carley's, go to a doctor/dermatologist and ask about Benzaclin.
