Pros:

Skin is less oily

Cons:

Very expensive; no decrease in breakout, hasn't cleared any blackheads or whiteheads

I've been using the Clarisonic for a little over a month, and I am so dissapointed, especially after reading so many wonderful reviews everywhere. I'm 34 years old, have very oily skin that breaks out regularly, and whiteheads in my cheeks and nose that have only gone away with oral antibiotics (Minocin). I was really hoping to see an improvement not so much in the breakouts, but in clearing the whiteheads and blackheads. No such luck. I was thinking of returning it but I have hopes that it may still work. I've used it religiously two times a day, both in the regular and gentler power settings, and with the sensitive and normal brush. My skin does feel cleaner and less oily after using it, but the oil comes back during the day and no benefit has come from the "deeper" cleaning.

Pros:

Very easy to use. Leaves my skin feeling clean and soft. Can use on rest of body. My IS Clinical Hydra Cool moisturizer and Active Serum go on nicely. My make-up goes on smoother and stays smooth throughout the day since I started using the Cla

Cons:

A bit pricey.

I've been using the Clarisonic brush twice a day on normal setting (not sensitive) for about a week. The last few days I've started to break out on my chin and forehead. I'm not sure if it's the cleansers that came with the product. I've tried them all and I'm going back to my own cleanser (NeoStrata). The serum is nice though. I really love the brush and I will continue to use it, but I'm going to have to experiment with it, so I don't break out.

a sensitive skin user and im in love!
i have extremely sensitive skin and i love my mia 2. i use the cashmere brush head, the most delicate setting, and only 2x - 3x a week. i am very careful to glide my brush across and not push. its the best!! i had a really bad experience with the foreo that left my skin for the worse :( so i was shocked when something that is usually said to be harsher works for me! i would def give this a try but keep in mind the tips i mentioned. has made my skin soft, even, acne free. so happy and confident with my skin.

For an occasional extra clean
I like my Clarisonic Plus for occasional cleansing at night before I use a topical overnight acne treatment. What I like about it is the mild exfoliating action inherent in using the device. I'm wary of using most physical exfoliants/scrubs if I have any active pimples (which is often), but the Clarisonic brush head doesn't irritate any existing acne nor cause any new pimples. On the other hand, I'm not sure that using the brush has made much of a dent in my breakouts, but it's hard to tell what product is doing what when I use more then one at the same time.

Not worth the money
I've had a clarisonic Mia for 2 years. I liked it and it worked fine for the first year, mind you I didnt use it everyday. I put it in the linen closet for about 8 months b/c we had been doing renovations on the bathrooms and I didn't want it to get dirty or messed up. When I got it back out to use it. I charged it and It was was making weird noises. I went to use it and it wouldn't stay on and it never ended up working. So, called clarisonic only to not have it be under warranty. And I pretty much have to bye a new one. They can do nothing. So for the money you spend and it doesn't even last that long. I will NEVER buy one or recommend one again. I'll go buy a $20 one off amazon:)). Then if it only last a year... No big deal.

Pros:

A great exfoliator for when you wear a lot of makeup or feel really grimy

Cons:

if you have acne it probably will make it worse.

I got the brush over a year ago when my acne was fairly bad. I used it for 3 months and it just made my acne worse - redder and more sore. I got the dermacleanse system and took the capsules and used their cream and liquid exfoliator for my blackheads and stopped using the clarisonic for 6 months and my acne cleared up totally. Since my acne cleared up a few months ago I started using the clarisonic a few times a week after wearing a ton of makeup or after a good workout where i'm really sweaty on my face. and now this works really well. If you have blackheads or a little acne I think it works really well but if your acne is really bad you need to not exfoliate it hard with this brush and do something herbal or medicinal to take care of it.

Pros:

You can feel the cleanser really doing its job, and after you use the clarisonic your face feels baby skin soft.

Cons:

Crazy Breakout!
Price

I am only in my second week of using the clarisonic. Last week, my skin looked great, better than it has in the past three years. Now, though, since two nights ago, I washed my face like I have been usually for one minute and gentle...and when I woke up the next morning, my face was tomato-red. It felt and looked like I left Nair on my face for way too long. I thought I was scrubbing too hard, but when I looked at my skin closely I could tell that I am going through the purge part of this. It is disgusting! Thankfully the redness has gone down, but I've been reading a lot of reviews and a lot of you have said that the breakouts never go away. I really hope that this is just a phase and that from here on out, my skin will get better like it was in the first week!

Pros:

+ Smaller pores
+ Smoother, softer skin
+ Drastic reduction in acne, especially blackheads
+ Is supposed to increase product absorbtion by up to 60%

Cons:

- Price: $195 at Nordstrom

I use this daily in the AM and PM to apply my cleanser. It has entirely eliminated blackheads on my nose, forehead and chin (T-zone) in just under a week! It is an investment, but it is definitely worth the price... my skin has never looked better or felt smoother. Also, it comes with a cleanser, but I don't recommend it. I recommend just using your usual acne cleanser. For me, it's PerriconeMD Skin Clear Cleanser.
