Pros:

Leaves skin feeling clean and smooth
Doesn't overdry
Great basic cleanser
Cuts through oil
No fragrance

Cons:

Have to buy online

I've used a good number of cleansers and this is by far my favorite. I like how much it suds up and my skin always feels clean while with other cleansers I'm often left feeling either oily or dry and flaky afterwards. I have really sensitive skin and it doesn't cause me to break out.

Pros:

Non-drying when used as instructed, slightly drying if you leave it on for longer.

Cons:

None!

I use this cleanser every single day, it makes my face feel clean and doesn't dry my skin. I use it two or three times a day and the big bottle has lasted me more than a few months. I use one pump and lather my face very well for 10 seconds, then wash it off. I have very oily skin, so I have tried cetaphil which doesn't completely remove the oil, to harsher soaps which completely strip all the oil from my face and dry it out horribly. This cleanser is the right balance, I will continue using it.

Pros:

I'm 20 years old, Chinese, combo-skin (I have a shiny nose, though my forehead is dry) and for the longest time I've been bothered by acne (around 7 years?)

I've tried other cleansers, including the pricier ones you can get at local drugstores (e.g. Dermaglow, Vichy). The acne.org cleanser is something you can get cheaper, even with shipping.

It cleared up my acne, for the most part. I used it with the acne.org BP, but I do love the cleanser. Foamy, non-drying.

Cons:

None I experienced.

The results might be different for other people, but for me it worked. I ordered a regular sized bottle, loved it, and then order 2 giant ones. It turned my "acne-severity" from "moderate" to "light" I'm pretty sure. Either this or the BP... but you really shouldn't go with one without the other?

Pros:

Gets my skin clean, clean, clean - and it is even gentle enough to cleanse your eye makeup. Downright cheap compared to the high-end expensive cleaners I had been using. I LOVE this stuff!!

Cons:

None.

Try it. I don't think you will be dissappointed.

Pros:

cheap, it lathers and foams very well. Cleans skin.

Cons:

is very drying! ! not recommended for oily skin or dry skin.

well so much for a gentle cleanser Dan. Have you guys looked at the list of ingredients yeah cucumber is there among with other chemicals. As far as a cleanser it really is a good cleanser it cleans your skin good. I don't recommended for acne since acne is produced by oil. My face is very oily so i tried this and since it dries your skin it made it more oily not good. So bottom line i don't know how so many people put good reviews since is too drying for oily skin which is not good and for people with dry skin i think it might be worst. Not impressed, disappointed.

Pros:

doesnt over dry, its gentle....no scrubby stuff thats harsh on the skin. large amount for the price.

Cons:

none

I've been fighting breakouts since highschool....I'm 26 now. My birth control helps a lot but doesnt entirely take care of the problem. I tried proactiv and at first it worked really well but after awhile my skin was waaaaay too dry...it was dull looking....when you stop using proactiv your face starts breaking out even more but i knew i had to try something else. i've pretty much tried every product there is...been to a dermatologist, etc.....so i'm extremely skeptical about anything new i try...and i'm definitely not the type of person that usually writes reviews of products....but i swear this is the best product line i've ever tried. my skin is clear again....it fixed the damage proactiv did. i have the cleanser, benz perox, the aha, and the moisturizer....which is the best moisturizer ive ever ever used. anyone who struggles with breaking out should absolutely try this out.

Pros:

Simple
Not irritating

Cons:

None

This is a great, gentle cleanser. Not like those "other" gentle cleansers which either don't actually cleanse, or leave weird residues. However, I don't use this every day. I also have a salicylic acid cleanser, and a salicylic acid scrub. I use Dan's gentle cleanser when my skin is feeling irritated, but when my skin can handle it, I use the salicylic acid because it helps my acne.

Pros:

Very gentle, lathers up extremely well, pump bottle works great for getting an exact amount, can be used for shaving.

Cons:

None other than shipping costs, but that's to be expected.

I am following the DKR and this cleanser is simply amazing. I shave once a day and use this as a shaving "foam". Other shaving foams/gels (Barbasol, Edge, Gillette) sometimes give me acne so I am much safer with an actual cleanser, not to mention it does a very good job lubricating the face and blade. I have only noticed a faint smell so I suppose it changes bottle per bottle from reading these other reviews stating of strong smells. The cleanser itself washes off easily which is always nice and leaves the skin feeling great while removing excess oil and dirt. I only use 1 pump per application since it lathers up so nicely. 16oz will last months.
