Pros:

it's gentle, it comes in a huge, inexpensive pump bottle, it helped clear my acne!

Cons:

you may need some trial and error to find the one that's right for you. The SpectroDerm did not work as well as Spectro Jel Oily Skin. Also you need to work it in a little

I use SpectroDerm to clean my tattoos when they are healing. I ran out of my normal cleanser one day (just one of those random noxema ones.. i was always changing never bought the same stuff twice because i didnt like em) so i decided to use that to clean my face til i had a chance to run to the store. I really liked it, and when i bought the one for oily skin it worked even better! But face is usually oily all day no matter what but now it stays mat all day! It works best if you rinse your face with really warm/hot water for a couple of splashes, then the jel for 30-45 sec, gently massage, rinse thoroughly, then rinse with really cold water. my regimen: Avene Make Up remover ... but instead of rubbing off i wash it off SpectroJel witch hazel 2.5% bp as spot treatment only (but im pretty clear now vichy mattifying moisteriser for sensitive skin

Pros:

It clears my skin, moisturizes my dry areas ( I have combo skin) and is incredibly easy to use! VERY affordable. Available for EVERY type of skin!!!

Cons:

My nose is still left shiny after washing (i'm using the one for combo skin which claims to take off oil) It doesn't take off makeup very effectively.

This product is amazing. It really makes my skin soft, and incredibly clear. Whenever I wander off to another product, you can tell! My face looks dull, dry and oily and my acne either doesn't improve or gets worse. So then I come back to this and the next day I'm back to almost clear skin. The cons of this product are easily fixed. I just apply mineral powder to my shiny areas and it absorbs the oil and I use Nivea Refreshing Toner which takes off my makeup. And at 11.00 for a 500 ml bottle which will probably last you like a year, it is EXTREMELY affordable.
