Pros:

not drying
economical
different scents to your preference
can be used for almost anything

Cons:

none.

I've tried Cetaphil, Clean and Clear, Neutrogena, ProActiv, and for a while, I gave up on cleansers and soaps completely for my face. I scrubbed with a washcloth with only water and it made my skin more irritated and have scabs from the broken skin. Dr. Bronner's Tea Tree Oil Liquid Soap is the ONLY thing I have ever used to not dry out my skin, make me dry and flaky, or leave residue. It leaves absolutely no residue. You only need a few drops. I use three to four drops of the stuff and it lathers amazingly. You don't need any more than that. Maybe that's why people are saying that it can be drying. I don't know, but it is awesome for me. It's not difficult to find (CVS, rite-aid, etc.) and you can use it for your body. I only use a drop for each body part. One for upper arm, one for forearm, and I change the amount proportionately from there.

Pros:

- Very gentle but effective
- Cleans off all makeup
- Face feels very clean
- Tightens pores
- All natural/Vegan/Organic/Fair Trade
- Different nice smelling scents
- Awesome packaging/bottle

Cons:

- Does not treat acne
- Can be a tiny bit drying but not bad
- Liquid soap not easiest to use
- Keep having to go through lots of face towels

I love Dr. Bronner's Liquid Soap!! Seriously it is AMAZING. It is the best and most gentle, yet effective face cleanser/wash I have ever used! For real. I use the peppermint and I love the cool tingly sensation it gives my face. The packaging is dank and it's all natural/organic/fair trade/vegan. I love love love it. :) Now, that being said, it doesn't seem to treat my acne alone. For almost a month I have been using it and I now have a couple more pimples and some blackheads than before. HOWEVER, my face is normally extremely oily (so oily it looks wet due to years of BP). I think that is the reason, not because of Dr. Bronner's Soap. I was hoping it would help with oiliness but so far it hasn't. I still am totally in love with this product. <3 Go buy this right now. Seriously, get ready and go to Target and buy this shiz. :)

My clear skin savior

I struggled with sub clinical acne on my forehead for years. I’ve tried everything, from tea tree oil to benzoyl peroxide. I discovered this soap while researching more about how to get rid of these stubborn bumps on my forehead. They weren’t poppable and in certain lighting, they weren’t visible at all but it drove me crazy. I used Dr. Bonner’s peppermint soap and literally OVER NIGHT the bumps deminished by 80%. This stuff is miracle soap. The peppermint does tingle which I like and it has my face feeling fresh, clean and smooth. If you suffer with acne like mine, I HIGHLY recommend giving this a try. It’s affordable, accessible and so totally worth the $13 I paid for it.

OMG
Made an account simply to review this product. I had suffered with acne from age 11-21, from small whiteheads to huge cystic pimples. I spent my time researching and trying all sorts of remedies. I told myself as soon as I found a system that worked, I would post to help others. And FINALLY I found it!! My skin is almost completely clear and smooth. Here's the routine. Morning: -cleanse with unscented Dr. Bronner's liquid castile soap -moisturize with jojoba oil Night: -remove makeup with jojoba oil and steaming hot washcloth -cleanse with Dr. Bronner's -moisturize with jojoba -apply a thin layer of vaseline all over face I SWEAR this routine has transformed my skin! Please give it a try!

Omg! I am so glad I found your review!!! I am using the Dr. Bronner's bar soap with lavender hemp (have been for about a month now) and just ordered organic Leven Rose Jojoba oil!!! I also have been using organic rosehip oil as well. I am excited to try the jobabo oil but also nervous. I have been so desperate to clear my face! I am 23 and have always have mild/moderate acne but this past summer my face went insane!!! I had giant cysts all along my chin, jawline, and now cheeks. I am not aure what caused it although I did use some new oil spray gel for tanning and perhaps it clogged my pores majorly? Idk! But thanks to your review, I am hopeful that the jojoba oil will work for me!! The rosehip has been pretty good as far as no new acne and it seems to work some for the left over dark spots (mine are horrible). I am hoping using the Dr. Bronner's bar soap, jojoba oil, and rosehip oil work to completely clear my acne and spots!! Thanks for writing your review and giving me hopes!! :) Congrats on your newly improved skin, as well!!! I know it is exciting to finally see clear skin so go you!!!

Pros:

-helped clear up backacne A LOT
-reduced "belt rashes" due to an allergy of nickel
-not overdrying
-skin feels smooth and soft

Cons:

I can't think of any.

I've been using this soap as a body cleanser, I'm a little hesitant to try it as a facial cleanser. But I will, because of all of the good reviews.
