Pros:

I've only used the Peppermint scent but it smells great

It's invigorating in the morning and helps you wake up

It can be used on pretty much everything!

Lasts a LONG time since you don't need much to do the job.

Doesn't leave face dry after washing.

100% vegan, 100% biodegradable, and no chemicals at all to aggravate skin.

Cons:

NONE...If you wash your hair with it though, you might want to condition it after because it kind of strips the natural oils. Guys with short hair don't really need to worry about it though.

I bought a bar of this first and though it worked well, but I decided to use the liquid instead just cause it's easier. I'm glad I did. I use this on my body and face and have had ZERO acne flair ups. I have sensitive combination skin and this stuff is a MIRACLE. I have never reviewed anything before it's just that good haha. I use it in the shower morning and night, and then after I get out, I moisturize my skin and that's IT! The stuff takes care of the rest. No 3 step regimen necessary that takes 45 mins to do cause you're waiting for the products to dry before moving to the next step (I'm talking to you Dan. No one has that much time to sit and wait for that BP to dry...then the moisturizer on top of it.) If you're sick of your acne that has plagued any part of your body, BUY THIS STUFF, you won't be sorry. I haven't been using it for that long and I already wish that I had found this stuff sooner.

Best thing I've found so far!
This is the best facial treatment I've come across in my 16 years of suffering from moderate acne. It works better than any OTC or prescription treatment I've tried so far. I have only had one minor break out in the last 3 months of using this product. It has not worked for my body acne though. Cheap too and a small bottle lasts a long time!

Pros:

- leaves face "squeaky" clean
- I've had oily skin since puberty, since using Dr. Bronner's tea tree oil my skin is NOT oily at all anymore
- has cleared up residual acne that my prescription creams missed
- I know that this face wash is the main reason my acne has cleared up 95%
- has completely changed the texture of my skin
- MIRACLE product! If you haven't tried please do so but remember this must be diluted for your face
- Cheap for amount you get

Cons:

- CAN be trying, so please dilute it 50/50 or up to 30/70 (soap/water)
-the water texture takes some getting used to but that's a small price to pay for beautiful skin

Almost overnight three years ago I started breaking out all over my cheeks. What finally cleared up my acne was Differin .3 and Finacea but the Differin became WAY too harsh for my skin. The differin cleared me up about 60% and then the Dr. Bronners took me the other 35% of the way. I've gotten multiple friends hooked on it too AM: Dove soap and my clarisonic Sodium sulfacetamide lotion PM: Wash with hands and Dr. Bronner's soap Trentitoin .05 alternating nights with Finacea cream DDF Oil Free Moisturizing Dew AM/PM

Pros:

- All antural
- Cheap
- It really goes a long way

Cons:

None that I can think of.

I had recently herd about this product from a client of mine, she had told me that it was super cheap and all natural. I am 21 years old and have been struggling with acne from the time I hit my teens. (I blame my dad for bad genes!) So I went to Publix and decided to try yet another product. As soon as I went home I washed my face as directed and instantly felt really clean! I have been using this for about 3 days now I cant tell you how happy I am that I found this. My skin is cleared and the redness is going down. I would deffinately recommend this product to anyone that has acne, or just wants clean skin! So go out and buy this stuff! Its amazing, Enjoy =)

Pros:

Its outstanding, Dr. Bronners was just recommended casually to me thru my Dr..... he mentioned that he uses it. I'm amazed it cleared up my eczema on my lower rt. Leg. I tried Aveeno for years & never have had the results that Dr. Bronners gave me. I think its the oils that healed the skin.

Cons:

The amount of face towels, lol! What a trade off though. I will never use a synthetic loofa again.

I never want to run out of this product.

Pros:

natural, smells nice, feels good

Cons:

didn't really work for my acne...

the first few weeks of using dr. bronner's and tea tree oil (i wanted to go all natural) were great! i thought i could see a reduction in my pimples. now, after a few months, it's like i'm back at square one. i'm still getting giant, painful under-the-skin pimples that decide to turn into whiteheads (pustules) at inopportune times, not to mention random whiteheads popping up. this is so frustrating. i wanted it to work, and i believed it would; it just didn't... i'm still using it though. i mean, what the heck else can i do?

Pros:

Tea Tree Version:This soap is very good for less severe or post-primary treatment acne. Leaves face feeling smooth and refreshed, cleans without drying. Affordable, fair trade, organic, no sodium laurel sulfate or other weird chemicals. Lasts foreve.

Cons:

Very high PH level, around 9, which has worsened acne for some users. Not recommended for severe cases. Might be more effective for acne on the body than on face for those individuals.

I would recommend this product for older (past 22 maybe) individuals or for others who have overcome their initial teenage acne and are looking for a facial cleaner that is not as expensive or drying as normal acne face washes. While I have personally only used the tea tree oil version, I would not be surprised if the Peppermint and Lavender versions are equally/more effective. You can also use Dr. Bronner's to wash your clothes, clean your floors, and do your dishes!

Pros:

OMGGGGGGGGG
i have tried everything for the last 7 years and this is...
beyond amazing. it clears up existing blemished, clears out pores, reduces redness and scarring, and makes my skin less oily and CLEAN feeling

Cons:

you must DILUTE this product or it is drying, but this isn't really a con because this bottle will last you at least a year that way.

the BEST. plus, it's all natural and you can feel good about it.

Pros:

Dr Bronner's PEPPERMINT Magic Liquid Soap is prob the best cosmetic purchase I have ever made in my life. Clears up acne, reduces oil, 100% vegetarian, 100% vegan, 100% organic, 100% biodegradable, 100% affordable, 100% worth it

Cons:

none

the peppermint is relatively potent so just make sure to dilute in certain areas (cooch, penis, whatever). i don't dilute on my face cause it does a great job keeping the face clear. i bought the 32fl oz and i heard its suppose to last for 6 months. i bought it like 3 months ago and only managed to use about half of it. perfect for camping cause you can use it to wash hair, face, body, and even toothpaste. throw out everything you are using and get this!
