Clean & Clear : Blackhead Clearing Scrub

I absolutely love this product. My skin is freaky: regular Cetaphil dries it out to the point of uncontrollable flaking, but after I use this product I barely need a moisturizer. I think it is because it does not contain sodium laureth sulfates...the super drying ingredient that gives Cetaphil it's foamy lather. In order for this product to work, this is how you should use it!!! : Instead of wetting your face, scrubbing for twenty seconds, and rinsing, wet your face and massage in the cleanser, and then leave it to dry for about ten minutes. Then rinse it off. As long as your skin is not sensitive, this should work wonders because it is given time to actually penetrate the pores. I have no zits and few blackheads after using this product!

This daily scrub was very useful by making my blackheads smaller and less noticeable but it did not eliminate blackheads. It says on the bottle, "Results from Day 1" but I could not see results before 2 months of using the product. The scrub can also be very abrasive due to the large amount of microbeads so you must be use a very gentle circular motion to exfoliate your face. In conclusion, a decent product.

Perhaps the best morning and night face scrub I have ever used that has made my skin smooth, soft and works well with my morning moisturiser. The combination of the two works delightfully well with or without wearing make-up. Reviews here have mentioned it to be over drying but that's only if you don't apply moisturiser afterwards in the morning. When using it before bed, moisturiser doesn't need to be used because skin has already been moisturised during the day and this cleanser helps to maintain the skin to be soft and smooth. Other reviews have also mentioned that it hasn't got rid of any previous blackheads but you must remember that it clearly states on the package (which may perhaps be misleading), 'see fewer blackheads', which in other words, your existing blackheads might still remain, but at least it prevents new ones. Scrubs are generally used to rid blackheads eventually because they rub off dead skin cells over time, so the blackheads that remain stuck in the skin (however I've never experienced those really BIG blackheads) will make the spot stuck underneath to eventually appear on the top surface of the skin. Admittedly I have two small cysts on each side of my cheek and I believe that it was to do with using an oil cleanser which I've stopped using. My directions of using: Wet flannel with running water from the hot tap, use flannel to cleanse my face in circular motions. Splash more water over my face and apply less than a thumb size amount of Clean&Clear Scrub and move in small circular motions around the face. Then repeat the flannel action again with hot/warm water to wipe off the cleanser. Splash face one final time to remove extra residue of beads etc and then pat dry face with a clean towel. I use this in conjunction with Clean&clear continuous control (Botchla's Regimen) and the combination of the two have saved my life! However, this product by itself is just alright. It does make skin super smooth and clean, but doesn't really "eliminate" blackheads like it says it does. If you are using this product and aren't really seeing results as far as acne goes, trying adding in a benzoyl peroxide cleanser/gel to your routine. Increases the effectiveness of both products and the two have done wonders for my skin :)

I would reccomend this to someone who has light acne. I'm not sure if it would b good for people with serious problems tho. But it might work. I love it and i use it once a day. No cons so far!!! Really affordable =D

i have blackheads around my nose and i think that this made it a bit worse. i used this for about 2 years and it really didnt work.if u want to get rid of blackheads or at least dont want them be so noticable.i suggest that right when you get out of the shower, get your towel and start i guess scrubbing you nose with your towel and on the sides too.it worked for me lol

BOTTOM LINE: this scrub does not work. I tried it for about 4 weeks, and literally, I've only seen one blackhead disappear, and i've been getting really bad breakouts since I've used it. I recommend Clearasil products, they actually work.

Clean and Clear blackhead clearing wash is AMAZING. I have very sensitive skin that tends to dry out with use of a face wash. But, with this product I haven't had any issues yet. My skin feels wonderful after use, clears blackheads (or reduces size), helps prevent the few random breakouts I have. The little blue beads aren't so bad. I found if I put Clean and Clear on during my shower first then wash my hair out I don't have to worry about finding random blue beads all over my head during the day.

This product made me break out!!!! I was trying to solve one problem and It gave me more. I had pimples forming everywhere after I started using this. It was a complete waste of money for me, I have the whole tube sitting on my bathroom counter just taking up space, definitely going to throw it away. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT FOR ANYONE. DO NOT GET IT!!!! IT'S A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY ''I ASSURE YOU'' !!!!!!

This product does clear blackheads. I used this product for like a month now and I don't have that much blackheads no more. I stared seeing my blackheads go away in just two days ill recommend this product to everyone and it does not dry my skin. Im just in love with this product. And its really gentle with your skin.
