Pros:

Effective, Value for money

Cons:

Normal side effects of Benzoyl Peroxide

This is definitely the best acne cream that I have found. You get a lot for what you pay, it works well, pleasant and easy to use. Even after Accutane took care of most of my acne, I ALWAYS keep a tube of 10% Benzac around, because it works so well, and clears up any pimple pretty much overnight. 2 thumbs up!

Pros:

It hass been the only treatment to sucessfully clear my acne, dries everything right out and even helps to somewhat vanish previous acne scarring

Cons:

Sometimes out of stock at the store :(

The Best stuff ever beacuse it has a high concentration of Benzoyl Peroxide (5%/10%) it really dries out acne quickly. I started to see results by the 2nd and 3rd day. It's not expensive at all and it works. I found that other acne products that contain salycic acid dont work at all, or if they do they clear up 1 zit but replace it with 5 new ones. I strongly recommend this product, especially to people with oily to very oily skin

Pros:

Nice texture of cream, helped me begin to clear acne that i have had for about 9 years.

Cons:

Can cause over-dryness occasionally, but this is easily fixed.

I found that the texture of the cream wa snicer than others I have tried and it is effective in helping control my acne. It is also cheaper than all the other creams, and I can buy it in larger quantities.

Pros:

effective... for 2 days... that's fast! :)

Cons:

well, my skin went dry and oh red!

i'm allergic to benzoyl peroxide (so guess that explains the redness of my face) but it makes my face clearer... i just put it all over my face at night, then leave for about an hour then wash it again... (so that it won't make my face super duper red! hehe) it works!!!

Pros:

works very well but skin must be cold before applying and chilled once applied.

Cons:

very drying. Need to find a non oil based moisturiser, I found that Active Moist from Dermalogica is really good.

I had extremely severe acne for many years until I found a book called 'The Acne Cure' by Terry J. Dubrow. I picked up this book for like 2 dollars from a book sale on the off chance it could do anything to help..after 2 long stints on acutane without effect i was pretty much willing to try anything. I can't even stress how incredible this book is! It has a three step program which when done correctly makes it impossible for acne to survive...the steps breifly - 1) use a cleanser with the active ingredient Salicylic Acid (I use Dermalogica anti-bac skin wash) leave on skin for about 30 seconds before washing off. 2) apply glycolic acid (I use Eventone Glyco Peel) leave on approx 3-5 minutes. 3)This is the long step but the most important. Applied normally Benzac AC will dry up your acne but will not stop it from coming back. It needs cool temps to be able to dig deep into the pores, you must cool your face with ice before application then once applied cool further. READ TH

Pros:

clears/dries breakouts

Cons:

very dry, sensitive, irritant, painful skin after application

It works. It worked for me before. I had intensive laser surgery done on my face because my acne was that severe, i was prescribed Benzaclin and it worked for me.. HOWEVER I was refused refills after 3yrs of usage and for a month I stopped using it after so long of continuous usage..and I broke out all over my face a couple weeks later. I am still suffering. The doctors finally gave into my plea and re-prescribed me benzaclin, the breakouts are worse, more painful.. i can't bear them. It hurts my face to smile. I lost all my confidence within weeks because of this. Basically if it works for you- stick with it !!

Pros:

It works wonders people! It actually works...unlike the crappy drug store acne wash claims.

Cons:

I have oily skin so I can't claim the drying effect really. What is the con? It works so well that everyone buys it and I have to wait for the store to order in more product.

When a juicy one show's it's ugly white face (Mmm) I pop it. Oh, I do the same with little red ones. I wash the area with a baby wipe (or whatever'.make it all clean) and apply Benzac AC 5 and moisturizer. I do that a couple times a day. Since the gel kills the acne causing bacteria, we are no longer dealing with a zit. What we have is a little open sore. Yes, gross. So I cleanse the area and apply an antibiotic such as Polysporin. I use the Polysporin until the 'zit' is no longer visible. Basically, a zit that left unattended could last up to 3 weeks has now been chopped down to 3 or 4 days.
