Pros:

I want to say that is helping get rid of the old nasty stuff underneath but I'm not sure

Cons:

I broke out!!! I only had mild acne and my doctor prescribed it. Now, after 2 weeks I feel like a monster!

If someone experienced this at first, please share your story... how long did it take for your face to clear up? I want to stop using it but what if it gets worse?

Pros:

Its great it leaves my skin clear and dries out any pimple i might have.

Cons:

It dries skin a little bit but your face wil get used to it. however i use a moisturiser in the morning and brevoxyl in the evening. for "rachel nj" i use apasac moisturiser which was recomended to me by dermatologist

Its worth it.however its important that you also use a suitable moisturiser so that your skin won't dry out and become irritated. apasac is dermatogically tested and its a non greasy moisturiser. I definetly recommend it

Pros:

I've used this for six weeks and my face is nearly 100% clear.

Cons:

Very dry and flaky skin.

Stick with the program. The first few weeks I nearly gave up, but I know that it takes a while for skin to change so I stayed with it and six weeks later it is almost cleared up completely. At my doctor's recommendation, I'm cutting back to using it at night and will then use a gentle cleanser in the morning.

I have been using this product for about 3 days and it has helped. I resently tried proactive solution and it completely cleared my skin up. For some odd reason if i use a product for too long it just stops working so I switched to this. I have tried it b4 and it almost completely cleared my skin up but, for some reason my mom told me not to use it anymore. So I stopped. Now I use it agian. There has been some redness but the redness is gradually reducing. I definatly reccomend this product but use a gel or lotion of some sort.

I was prescribed this about a year ago along with Retin-A micro and Finacea. I used Cetaphil in the morning and then Finacea and Brevoxyl-8 and Retin-A at night. I saw results really fast and I have been using it for a year consistently. However, I'm not sure if my skin is building resistance to it because I started breaking out again. Has anyone experienced this who has been using this product for more than a year? Are you not supposed to use it everyday after awhile? I don't know what to do ... I switched to Panoxyl-10 because I thought maybe I needed to up my dosage, but it is irritating my skin and causing me to break out even more. I can't take this anymore!
