Pros:

cleared up about 70% of my acne so far. less oily face.

Cons:

still get spots dotted around my face and there always really stubborn, take ages to f*ck off.

when i first started to use this product i noticed a massive improvement, i had no spots within 2 weeks. hardly dries my face out but still use moisturiser. but gradually i started getting spots in places were i never got them, like my cheekbones and mouth area. so bottom line, its cleared up the masses of spots i use to get along my jaw line, and now i just get them dotted around my face. WHICH is a hell lot better. has worked well anough to keep persisting at it and hope it works to clear my whole face. peace, and much love folks.

Pros:

It got rid of some pimples on my chin

Cons:

It totally dried my skin and made it flaky. After I used it my skin stung and hurt so bad and my whole face was red as if I had a sunburn.

I've only been using if for a week or so but the side effects have been horrible. I dont know if I should continue using it or not. Will my skin eventually get used to it?

Pros:

Works really well. Helped my oily t-zone. Cleared up my skin.

Cons:

If you forget your moisturizer, you'll be in for some trouble with the peeling.

I got this product from my mother because she gets free samples from her office (she's a pediatrician). She told me to use it for my forehead breaking out. After just a few weeks I really saw a change. Now, it's been one and half months and my skin is clear. I use this product with duac and cetaphil moisturizer. For spot treatments when I see something coming to the surface, I use the proactiv refining mask (sulfur treatment) and sleep with it on. It all really works. Do not forget to moisturize!!!!

Pros:

In my experience there are none.

Cons:

I had a severe allergic reaction to this product. I only used it twice and my face became very swollen and I got an outbreak of pimples everywhere on my face.I have had to take a week off work, the doc has given me steroids and antiobiotics

Make sure you are not allergic to any of the ingredients. Has anyone had a similar reaction? I am worried there will be long term damage.

Pros:

Like the large tube, I keep it on the shelf in my shower. I like the creaminess also. Seems to be working really well, my skin is almost completely clear.

Cons:

Lol, hating the bleaching factor for my towels, I had to switch to white. My skin is dry but not horribly so.

It took me a few days to get into my regime of the was, the lotion, duac, and then actually remembering to put on moisturizer. I only use this in the AM (using retin A Micro at night) but so far I like it. I do use a makeup remover first cause I don't want it near my eyes. I think as long as you use a good moisturizer it's relatively easy.

Pros:

I have been using this product approximately 2 months and i can tell you, it works very slowly once you've reached a certain stage. The smell is quite mild, compared to other weird bp related products that are sometimes quite nauseting.

Cons:

This is the one thing that you WILL hate this product for--SKIN DRYNESS!!It TOTALLY dries out your skin after not using it for about a week, and will flake ALOT of times.

The bottom line is, never use this product for a long term basis. After a couple of weeks of using this product, it will almost devoid your skin of the natural and important fats that need to be on your skin. I'm writing this because i'm recovering from this awful product, and i wish to share this information to those that are thinking of trying out this awful product. btw, the bottle looks like toothpaste, and can be mistaken for one...

Pros:

ive used brevoxyl 4% BP cream for well over a year and its been terrific at treating my acne. works really quick and kills acne very well.

Cons:

dries out skin a lot... you need to use a good moisturiser to retain any of your sanity!

great product as far as treating acne... has never let me down and ive been using it for about a year and a half now. remember the dryness tho... make sure you have a good acne healthy moisturiser present to use also. follow dans reg closely.

Pros:

Unscented and easy to apply to skin although takes a while to sink in using large doses. Did not really make my skin red when first starting using it.

Cons:

This product started off good for me (some clearing but not complete, a reduction in spot size), but after using the product for about 6 weeks now i can reveal that im back to my original spotty state when i first started the regimen ..Gutted

It was working hard on my spot all be it very slowly. Ultimately after 6 weeks now i would have expected to see much better results (had better skin about a week ago, now massive breakout) considering i was dedicated to the application. Also, the product is quite expensive at least a fiver a go. Doesnt last a long time, especially with Dan's suggested amounts. Takes ages to apply into the skin, applications could take upto 10 to 15 mins!! Overall i think its average, i think i may have paid the price of having a binge alcohol session at the weekend but personally, for 6 weeks use, i expected a clearer face (ive had less spots using no treatments!!)
