Pros:

Smoothes skin and de-greases oily skin

Cons:

redness, irritation and flaking

After using a very small amount for the first time, I woke the next morning to find I looked like I had sun burnt. My skin was sore and irritable. Although I suffered these side effects I persisted but used even less BP or gave myself a break inbetween days. After 2 weeks my skin is much smoother and less oily, however I still have a few spots and skin is flakey. It's worth a try but maybe not for those with sensitive skin.

Pros:

None.

Cons:

Everything.

It made the parts where I had applied it bright red. So red that even my friends were asking me if I had had a allergic reaction to something.

It was a flakey and peely and absolutely horrendous. I couldn't put my make up on or anything. It was horrible

Do not buy this product. Go natural instead. I've started to- Egg White face masks - simply spread the egg whites over face and let it dry. Wash my face with porridge oats/oatmeal but at night I use my normal mild Olay conditioning milk cleanser to remove makeup. Drink green tea - 3-4 cups a day or two capsules. Hope these remedies work for you :) - HoldingOn.

Pros:

cheap.
easy to buy at pharmacy and online.
Dries clear.
Doesn't ball up under makeup.
It works.

Cons:

Drying at first.
Contains SLS.
Bleaches fabrics (but so do all BP products)

This really works! I started using the regimen years ago and my skin has been pretty clear, although not absolutely; there are always one or two spots when I'm using this...however, if I don't use it, my face is covered in them. I do get complacent and start using it less and the difference is obvious. Last week I went 2 weeks without any BP at all and I had the worst breakout in my life, my entire face was covered in sore pustules, whiteheads, blackheads, cysts and bumps. I couldn't believe the withdrawal symtoms. I'm really angry at myself for stopping it because now I have to start the regimen again from scratch. It's been 3 days and the improvement has been massive, although my skin is red, itchy and dry I can see that the big ones have shrunk to almost normal proportions. The coolest thing is that all the gunk under the skin is coming out of my pores like it is being purged. I also like Dan's BP but this one has less fumes and is cheaper for me in the UK. Overall, I recommend this.

Pros:

Fantastic for moderate adult acne on chin
Acne has now gone - I have continued to use BP morning and evening after cleansing with moisturising after.

Cons:

Did cause major irritation and redness of the skin - like having sunburn. Glad that I first used it over a long weekend! Just used Neotrogena Oil Free Moisturiser once panoxyl had dried. After 2 weeks, redness and flaking has gone leaving clear skin

Great stuff - you just have to get over the initial side-effects - this is the gel working. Would be better to start treatment when you can stay in the house for 2-3 days with no make-up and have the time to moisturise, moisturise moisturise!! Bought mineral foundation and concealer - used a light dusting of mineral powder. Skin looks much brighter and overall very impressed. Will keep using the gel.

Pros:

has made some improvement in the amount of spots. but since i started using panoxl ive started to use mosturizer i dont know if thats making the improvement also.

Cons:

very dry! especialy after being in the shower, but not too bad when use moisturizer aswell. extreemly red rash has ocured where cream has been aplied almost worse than having spots dont know if i should stop using it or persist with the treatement.

has worked to a certain extent but the side effects of the cream is very extreme in my case anyway. i will try using less to see if the redness subsides but i fear alough it works i may have to stop using it. recommend it even just to try.

Pros:

works wonders

Cons:

face can get quite dry, use a strong moisturizer

i have had acne for 6 years, since i was around 11 years old. after many different anti-biotics i was feeling ready to give up. my friend had a tube of 2.5% bp she wasnt using so i asked her if could have it as i'd heard it was quite good. within a week & a half of using it i am so much happier with my skin. i finally feel confident & my skin is not ruling my life. thankyou bp!

Pros:

clears skin up extremely quickly, very very affordable at sites such as [link removed] triple pack for £8!!

Cons:

you need to follow the regimen closely when using this product, particularly the start off small n ramp your way up part as this product definately can burn and cause a lot of redness.

cheaper way of getting clear and works just as well as dans bp and a lot better than the oxy on the spot crap available in the UK.

Pros:

Dried up my oil. Pimples disappear quickly. Less blackheads and new pimples. Smoothed out skin tone. AWESOME!!

Cons:

Does cause slight dryness and itchyness!
This wasn't severe for me though because my skin is super, duper, oily.

If you have dry skin, you better use a moisturizer... other than that.. this is the best product I've ever used!!!

Pros:

It really works. My skin is more clean and fresh-looking. My acnes aren't COMPLETELY gone though.

Cons:

Ok... this didn't happen to me until TODAY. MY FACE BURNS SO MUCH. I have used this stuff before... like a few months ago. Same thing happened to me after I used it for about 5-6 days. I tried it again this time and it happened again.

My face definitely improved, however I don't think I'm going to try it for the third time. I mean it burns my skin. First time, my skin was so dry, but the second time I used some moisturizer.. so that prevented from occurring. Anyway... I think I'm gonna try to find something that is more natural...something that won't burn my skin. Hopefully there is one, cause I absolutely HATE acnes. I mean... who doesn't?
