Pros:

*makes skin extremely soft
*really helped with the large pores on my face (not sure if it's shrinking them as much as cleaning them better so they aren't so obvious)
*NOTICEABLE Pimple reduction in less than a week of using
*Skin LOOKS brighter and smoother
*Makeup goes on MUCH easier due to smoothness

Cons:

*Messy a little bit to put on but really who cares if its clearing up zits

I totally recommend this! I use the cleanser provided by Daniel OR Cetaphil whichever I have handy, sprinkle a little baking soda in my hand, then squeeze two pumps of cleanser on top in the evenings while taking a shower and wash my face gently focusing on my cheeks and sides of my face, (My problem areas). I rinse really well immediately after washing and can feel the softness IMMEDIATELY. My skin FEELS and LOOKS better as soon as I get out. To close up my pores, I do a follow-up rinse with FREEZING cold water right after, then moisturize using CETAPHIL advanced moisture face lotion. AWESOME RESULTS!!!

Pros:

Prevents new breakouts
Clears face!!
Makes skin feel smooth

Cons:

If you use TOO much and don't wash it off completely it can cause your skin to peel a bit (atleast for me)

I cannot say enough good things about this! I've had acne since I was in my early teens and im now 21, it comes back every once in awhile and it always makes me feel so insecure about my face. I always spring to the store and pick up a new facial cleanser hoping something will finally work...but nope, it seems it works for awhile and then does no good. So of course when I read about baking soda, watched videos and researched I figures to give it a try, but had my doubts it would do any good since nothing else did... Boy was I wrong! I used it one day and already saw a difference the next morning. I've now been using it for just over a week. At first i was using it as a paste and leaving it on for awhile but I find it better to just grab a handful in the shower and wash my face with it and then let it wash off within 30secs-1 minute. Anyway i've been using it in the morning and at night for over a week and can see a HUGE change, I'm almost acne free, hopefully in just a few more days I will have completely clear skin. If anything i recommend this, dont waste your money on products that dont work. Give it a try. :)

Pros:

Makes your skin very soft, its very cheap, and of course its natural :)

Cons:

The first 3 or 4 times, you can feel it sort of stinging, its not unbearable, but it does sting. Its a little messy when it dries.

I do this twice a day. Morning and night. I do not use cleaners on my face, I have found that warm water works the best. Use eye makeup remover if you need to. Soo, I rinse with warm water, and I use the paste as a mask, leave it on for about 20 minutes or so, and rinse with warm water, then cold immediately after :) My face is super clear now. I love it!

Pros:

Clears acne 100%
Takes Away Excess Oils
Prevents Future Breakouts
Brightens Dark Spots
Cheap To Buy

Cons:

Overly Dries, May need to moisturize skin afterwards

I had been suffering from breakouts since I was fourteen years old I am now twenty four, nothing ever worked for me. I tried Proactiv and Murad and nothing has made my skin as soft and clear as baking soda. I use it twice a day, once in the morning and once at night and at least once a day I moisturize my skin afterwards. I waited for about two months to write this review just to make sure this would work and it did, MY SKIN HAS NEVER LOOKED THIS CLEAR, I can finally wear my hair off my face without being embarrassed about my acne. Thank god for helping me find something that worked for me and that is so cheap to buy.

Pros:

Makes skin soft, affordable, dries acne out, exfoliates, can clear up skin 75-100% quickly.

Cons:

Slightly messy after it is dry if you leave it on for a while (but SO worth it!)

I started using this on my face because my mom insisted. I had a lot of redness, a few pimples, and a lot of small white heads and blackheads, etc. along my jawline and chin. After using this mask once or twice I saw a noticeable difference in the condition of my skin around the jawline and on the cheeks/chin. I really like baking soda! I also recommend using coconut oil, vitamin c, aztec indian clay mask and rose water. I use all of these things and my face has cleared up DRASTICALLY. The next product I am trying is Seacret's mineral peeling gel. Will be the first to review!

Pros:

When used as a mask:
- Cleared my acne! OVERNIGHT
- Fades scars

When used as a cleanser:
- Exfoliant
- Fades scars
- Also clears acne

Cons:

If you use it as a cleanser:
- Face is somewhat red after first couple of uses, eventually stops
- A bit drying at first, also stops with continued use

So far, no cons for using as a mask!

I could not believe how well this worked on my skin overnight. At first I was using it only as a cleanser, morning and night, and it was working better than my normal cleanser! You may encounter dryness the first couple times you use it, and if your skin is sensitive/dry to begin with maybe you wouldn't want to use it 2x a day like I am. But definitely use it as an overnight treatment! The magic happens when you put it on overnight: pour some baking soda in your hand, put a couple drops of water until it's pasty/runny and apply to pimples, or all over face. Let it dry and go to sleep. It will dry and crack over night but you'll notice that your pimples are SO SIGNIFICANTLY SMALLER!!! A friend of mine tried it and literally in 2 days her face had never looked clearer.

Pros:

Tightens Skin
Reduces Redness
Feels Great!

Cons:

At first it might make your skin a little more red than usual, but it goes away quickly.
I can sting a little when you apply it.

I've always had oily skin, and I've had acne for awhile, I used to have moderate acne, but it is slowly getting better as I mature. Baking soda is amazing, at first I wrote it off as ineffective because after I washed it off my skin looked redder than before. But then I started using it again and have been for a week or so. It's GREAT! it actually reduces redness and helps to heal. I suggest putting it on before bed, it tightens your skin so you're better protected at night from oil and bacteria from your pillow case (and therefore don't have to change it out every week to prevent it). Alone it can't cure acne (at least not for me) but it is very helpful.

Pros:

Gets rid of forming pimples, acne, scars.

Cons:

A bit dry afterwards, but all you need is to moisturize.

I had a really big pimple that was forming on my chin and I made a paste of baking soda, I kept it on until it dried out and I could already tell it was smaller. Two days later it was completely gone! This is really good.

Pros:

Prevents acne
shortens healing time of pimple
reduces redness and size
makes skin smooth
Cheap
The whole box will last you a while
Make-up goes on easier

Cons:

Stings a tiny bit the first couple of times, but it goes away over time.
May dry out skin for some people

I LOVE baking soda. Before I used this, my acne was moderate. I got the occasional pimples around my face and I would freak whenever I see them. I lost confidence and I would always try to hide my face. I would search all over the internet for helpful tips on how to get rid of them, that's when I found baking soda. I have been using it every other day for about a month now, and I can easily say that the severity of my acne went from moderate to moderate-light. It's a miracle, it truly is. I only get major pimples like 2-3 times a month and they end up healing in about 2-3 days. My face has never looked better *knock on wood. What I do is: After washing my face in the shower with St. Ives Apricot Scrub (I use this scrub every morning and night) Get a bowl with some baking soda. Put a little bit of honey in the mix. Then add a few drops of water to make a paste. GENTLY rub it on your skin avoiding the eye area. Leave it on your skin for about 10-15 minutes or until dry. Then finally wash it off with warm water. After all of that I cut and rub a piece of fresh aloe plant on my face and use Neosporin as a spot treatment. It's really amazing. I can go on and on for days about baking soda, but it would be best for you to try it yourself. Good Luck!
