Cons:
None so far. I USE IT TO WASH MY HAIR TOO!!! If your scalp is oily then it will affect your acne. About 1.5 yrs ago I noticed a change in my hair, shortly after, I got acne. Mix 1/4 cup baking soda with 22 ml water, pour into hair/scrub 2 min/rinse
Pros:
evened out my skin tone
reduced redness drastically
exfoliated amazingly
Cons:
stung like a b*tch!
made my chin very red (like razor burn)
Pros:
Cheap
Reduces Acne and appearance of dark marks
Great exfoliator and mask
Brightens complexion
Evens skin tone
Did I say cheap!
Cons:
Messy and it may sting, but that's ok.
Dries the skin out so be sure to moisturize.
Pros:
Seems to work in multiple ways. Worked on my adult acne. Properly applied it does not cause exfoliation, redness, or pain.
Cons:
People get advice about the dosage/usage that may cause adverse effects and are wasteful of the product. (You don't need a strong paste for this treatment to be effective.)
Pros:
Clears up most acne
Great exfoliate
Cheap
Leaves skin soft
Cons:
(some people say it's messy, but in reality, it's not even an issue)
possibly an issue for those with sensitive skin? (i can't really say because I havent had an issue)
Pros:
- Leaves clean feeling
- Skin LOOKS cleaner
- Natural
- Exfoliates
- Unclogs pores
- Sucks up sebum
- Clean smell (no fragrance)
- You can use this as a cleanser, scrub or mask
- Cheap and can be bought anywhere
- I heard that it also evens out your skin tone and lightens freckles
- Smaller Pores
Cons:
- Slight irritating feeling on cheeks for the first few minutes
- A little messy (buy some kind of container to keep it in)
Pros:
*CHEAP
*Easy to use and non-irritating
*SIGNIFICANTLY reduced 2 CYSTIC pimples I'd had that normally take 2-3 weeks to resolve
Cons:
Messy.
Acne.org Products
Pros:
While Baking Soda can sting a little initially, I find that this only lasts for a few minutes, and that by using a light moisturizer (such as one with Aloe Vera in it (Jergens makes a good one)), it helps alleviate this faster and helps with dryness.
