Pros:

Exfoliated my skin. Took dry-patches away, skin feels baby-smoothe! Redness is reduced and pimples are drying up.

Cons:

Stings a little. Would cause drying if i didn't moisturize after.

- I mix equal parts of water/baking soda. - Use fingers to masage onto skin on face/chest. - Rinse off with water - Moisturize with Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (a fantastic moisturizer that will not clog pores, is completely natural and VEGAN, does not have fillers or preservatives). Coconut oil is also a natural anti-fungal, anti-viral, anti-bacterial. The best thing you can put on yours skin to moisturize! Voila..... Healthy skin!

Pros:

it's really amazing!
Just someething you have in your cupboard
Feels really nice when you apply with hands - it's like fine wet sand

Cons:

Difficult to get off, needs a flannel

After reading these reviews I have just made up the mixture, a trickle and a bit of warm water and some BS. I put it on my face just a min ago so i'm waiting to wash it off with warm water in 5mins. 5mins later...all the pimples on the forehead have lost their redness and most pimples have gone down. My blackhead area (nose) has improved and it doesn't feel dry at all which is what usually happens with clearisil products ARGH! I'm applying a again for a longer period of time on my forehead and now i know its safe, im gonna try it on the massive one on my cheek i rarely get thats been there for half a week. 10 mins...the redness on everything has gone down including the sticky-outness off pimples! its really amazing!!!!!!! Im gonna add another mask of this stuff for the rest of the night to see how it goes and reacts with my dry skin! so far so good!

Pros:

Cheap, found around the house, didn't burn..

Cons:

Didn't really help.

I hardly have any acne, but i recently broke out with a few pimples, and figured I'd try this since I've read that it works well. When I put it on, it burned a tiny little bit, but i didn't really notice. So I washed it off after about 5 minutes. I didnt notice anything really, except my pimples were slightly redder. I put lemmon juice on my face right after (I've used it for months, it works) and HOLY CRAP did it ever burn! it made the areas around the pimples even redder, dry, and stand out. Hopefully by tomorrow my skin will be better. All I know is I'm NEVER trying it again...

Pros:

very cheap and easy to use

Cons:

i dont know about the rest of you but it didnt do much for me

I used it for about a week, it cleared up my face the slitest bit, maybe thats just my skin, it would never hurt to try it anyways. I know of a greate home remidy for reducing the redness of spots and pimples and that is camomile tea. Dip some face wips in the tea and place it on your face for about 20 minutes, do that about 4 times a day and only after 1 day you will see results, half the redness would have disappeared!

Pros:

Does the job well and dirt cheap. Plus travel friendly - it's powder not liquid!

Cons:

none

Use it when your face is damped. Then rinse it off. Skin is so soft and you know all the dead skin are GONE! Dont leave it too long, dont use it too often. And about the dryness, nothing jojoba oil cant take care of. *wink*

It works really well. I See my acne clearing up and my face is starting to look nice!

Cons:

USE IT It WORKS VERY WELL!

Pros:

I've only used the baking soda water/peroxide paste mix for a few days but I can totally see a difference. It's worked better then any thing else I have tried so far.( but it's only been a few days so it might not be the best judge)

Cons:

It can sting abit, depending on the person it can be worse or better. My mother tried it and it hurt worse for her then it did for me. Which is strange because I have very sensitive skin.

The bottom line for me is that this is the only product that has really actually helped me. And like many people have been saying, it's so cheap! Not to mention easy to do. I'd recommend this to anyone before they tried things like Proactiv or Murad. And why not? Easy, cheap and affordable not to mention for most people it seems to be working! I'd say though that those who use it should get a good lotion or oil like Jojoba, Aloe Vera and even Olive Oil. I've also seen people mix a teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water and drink it and this helping many problems such as the dreaded acne. Anyway I am very happy with this, I'm even thinking about going without foundation make up which I haven't done outside the privacy of my own home since I was 12!

Pros:

Make my skin so soft and feel clean, hopefully clear up my pimples

Cons:

if you have sensitive skin like mine, putting it too long or too much on your face may cause irritation

I used it once or twice 2 weeks ago by putting some with a little water to make a paste on my face and left it over night. I didnt make my pimples better, even irritated and caused redness. Today I gave it one more try, but this time i just mixed it with my cleanser and used it as a mild exfoliator. After patting dry, my face feels so smooth and soft, no irritation at all. I'll use this for 2 more weeks and leave feedback again :)
