Cons:
A tad drying-but not too much to stop using it. It also didn't clear up my scars.
It REALLY works. I have never considered going "Au Natural" with anything. I use at least 3 products in my hair daily, makeup over acne (a little too much) and have always used the brand names when treating my acne. Having acne on my forehead and not being able to pull up my hair ever got really annoying after one year of using brand products. Baking soda clears up acne, but failed to clear up my scars. I will continue to use it on my scars, because I have a feeling I didn't apply it right (didn't burn the first time, did the second time-but I only put it on the acne the second time).

It really makes skin softer.
Cons:
It is a little drying
I have started using this product for 2 days and I see no difference. I am hoping that it will reduce the size of my pores, so I am going to try a mask too.

I just learned about this stuff online and im giving it a try.Gosh i hope it works.Okay i gotta go rinse my face.I'll be right back to tell you the results.. Allright im back.So obviously my pimple didnt leve but it's not red anymore.And i think it shrunk a bit...YAY!!!PEACE

Cons:
my entire face was red for about 2 weeks. I had to visit a dermatologist who pescribed proactiv.
My doctor advised not to continue this or i could end up with extremely dry skin which will could cause flaking and scars to appear.

i mix it with my Purpose gentle cleanser whenever i need to exfoliate and this does a great job

I really haven't had any cons.
Its cheap. It works. If you want you can use it as a face mask over night(but be warned it gets all over the sheets, so if you have a S.O it might be a little bit annoying). So give it a try, it won't hurt ;-)

I thought I'd give this a shot since there are so many good reviews on this product. It's so affordable so why not? At first it was a nice exfoliant, but then i noticed whiter hands. I mean that didn't really bother me but I didn' want to risk the chance of my face getting whiter too. Anyway, I broke out even more with this usage and made little bumps all over my forehead and near my ears. Haven't had any luck and I'm very disappointed. :[

I have read many of your comments and it seems like everyone makes a baking soda paste. Well I actually use a baking soda soap sold in stores. It's called "Grandpa's Baking Soda Soap". There is variety of other soaps as well. It's sold at Bigelow's in Manhattan and other health junkie stores. Works great for me.

I used this for the first time last night and it felt as tho something was happining to my acne....by morning it was drying up. I mixed baking soda and water to make a past and rubbed it into my face and rinced it off after about 45 seconds....then i used a cotten ball with apple cyder vinager on it and put that on my face and left it over night. Then next day i did an egg white mask after lunch and i plan to do this for a week to see the results! Hope this all works!!!
Pros:
