ive tried other things and with this stuff you could almost make a zit disappear in an hour. for real. just make a mask. leave on for 30 min. o and dont use any old stuff. replace often. baking soda absorbs odors and flavors.... remember.

Pros:

Skin feels clean. Skin appears bright and shiny!

Cons:

None.

I have been adding baking soda to my facial cleanser and it is like an exfoilant. I have been told not to use it daily, but I don't feel that my skin is clean if I omit it. So have been using it daily at night for the past 2 weeks. I also use apple cider vinegar as a toner after cleansing, and my face is smooth and shiny. My freckles have also become lighter!

Pros:

Cleared a lot of acne, made skin feel VERY soft!

Cons:

Occasionally burns lightly for like a second, doesn't get rid of small acne or blackheads that much.

It helped clear much of my acne-mostly the big zits! Not the little tiny ones as much, but it did help. I use it as a mask for like ten minutes and then wash it off, and my skin feels great and smooth! I also use it with my facial wash sometimes, it's a great exfoliator! I just barely helped my blackheads, but it did make a difference and now I'm way clearer than I was 3 months ago! I suggest you try it!

Pros:

It didn't burn (for me), it got rid of most of my acne, it's cheap.

Cons:

I've heard it burns for other people, my acne wasn't completely demolished.

I seriously recommend this to everyone who gets acne. This was a miracle for me. And DO NOT QUIT USING THIS PRODUCT UNTIL ABOUT A MONTH AFTER USE! It is rare for a product to work miracles on your skin after only a few days. Give it some time. I didn't start seeing serious results until two weeks into using it. Now, I only have a few pimples left before my skin becomes acne free.

Pros:

It definitely leaves you with softer and smoother skin and lightens acne scars. It also seems to work great as an alternative to an acne face wash. VERY inexpensive.

Cons:

Burning sensation.

Can be messy.

Everyone must give this a try since it's so cheap and readily available. Just go to the supermarket, buy some Arm & Hammer for $2, and mix it with just enough water to make it a little bit pastey. Just experiment with it. I've done this for over a week now every evening, leaving it on my face for about 15 minutes and it really does make a difference. I have also been taking zinc daily and I do Dan's acne regime and I've finally gotten totally clear. I'm going to stick to this and see which of the three I can drop, although it is really nice to finally be acne free so maybe I shouldn't be messing with it.

Pros:

It works!

Cons:

It dries skin but that's what lotion's for!

I've had acne since I was 12 or so. I had it all over my cheeks, nose, and forehead primarily. As someone who is in entertainment, I was getting concerned because my reps were telling me that some people wanted to hire me based on head shots but seeing me in person, they were concerned about my skin. I started using baking soda, and the first day things improved! The next day things only got better and since then things just keep going uphill. I add it to my neutrogena cleanser and use it in my face wash. Then I follow by using it by itself (adding a little bit of water). I then follow with vinegar and water on a cotton ball. Then I use medicine from a dermatologist and various moisturizers. Granted my ritual might be a little excessive for some people's skin, but it's working for me and I couldn't be happier!!
