Pros:

it makes you skin smooth as ever..and soft..makes ur complexion lighter.

Cons:

it tingles a little bit and dries quickly..and flakes wen its time to remove

wen you mix baking soda and water together..as a paste..about 3-4 times a week..it makes skin smooth and soft and turns your complexion lighter..wen it begins to flake and turn white..rinse wit warm water..

Pros:

it worked great on my skin, it even got rid of most of my blackheads!!!

Cons:

none for me :)

i heard that baking soda would help so i tried it out, within the first day of useing it, my skin looked healthier and i had a better complextion. It reduced my redness and the size of my pimples and my skin looked much better. The best thing is that it didnt even burn my skin or make it dry. i hope it continues to work for me. :)

Pros:

have literally only gotten TWO pimples (minor) since i started using baking soda a few weeks ago. normally, i get one new pimple every two days!

Cons:

takes an hour for the redness to fade after i use it, but i've got really sensitive, fair skin :/

try it. you won't regret it. even though it hasn't completely gotten rid of everything (yet) it's obviously helping WAY more than any prescribed meds or expensive cleansers i've used in the past. spot treat as soon as you see something forming and it will be eradicated before you know it. i'm obsessed!

Pros:

gets rid of all black heads, makes pores smaller!

Cons:

it stings and itches a little, but NO PAIN NO GAIN, AMIRITE?

make a paste out of baking soda and water. spread it all over your face. leave it on for like 30 mins. wash it off, and exfoliate while doing it. do this every night for a week. all your acne problems solved forever. i sweat by this and reccomend it to anyone.

Pros:

Affordable + it leaves my skin so smooth and bright!

Cons:

nothing

Today was the firs time i tried it and it works great! Right after i noticed that my skin was a lot clearer (not that i had any acne problems) but i have a lot of freckles on my cheekbones so sometimes it makes my face looks darker and older, but after using this it looks a little lighter! And my face feels so smooth! What i did was mix equal parts of water and baking soda (so it was a little runny) but i used a cotton ball to rub it on to my face gently and then rinsed with warm water. Washed all the oil off!

Pros:

very quick, extremely effective, reduces redness and was cheap!

Cons:

it tingled but i imagine it can sting if you have super sensitive skin

used it for the first time a few minutes ago, i mixed it with a drop or two of my neutrogena glycerol cleanser and oh my the results were amazing! i left the past on for about 3 minutes while in the shower and then washed off, my blackheads were gone, my acne was noticeably gone or shrunk, and the redness is barely there. i love this stuff. :))

Pros:

Exfoliates like nothing else :) great at fading red marks and preventing new spots. Leaves ur skin baby soft too!

Cons:

Didnt sting for me, except if you get it on ur lips, so none.

For the price, totally worth a shot. Im only 15, but have spent most of my last few years researching, testing and buying skin stuff. And im telling you, this stuf is great. Also, works so much better if u use ACV after it! i use about 1:1 but thats a bit strong for some people. The reason ACV works well with it is because baking soda is basic, and ACV is acidic of course. So apart from the many benifits of ACV it also balances ur skins pH. And a balanced pH is the gateway to great skin Try it!

Pros:

I was hesitant to write on this forum after only two days of using baking soda, but I just had to share the secret that these expensive skin care companies don't want you to know. I've been using Murad for about a year, and it didn't improve my skin

Cons:

Absolutely no cons at all. I will write some later down the road if I encounter them. My only worry is that I hope it continues to work as well as it has.

Bottom Line is this: I was really upset the first time I used baking soda, not because it made my skin worse, but because I hadn't discovered this earlier. Turns out I've been wasting $70-$100 a month instead of using 89 cents the best way I possibly could. My self esteem has risen by tons, and I've already noticed a difference in my social life. Try it, if nothing is working for you. Its the best 89 cents you can spend. Trust me. -17 year old male in SoFla
