Pros:

Face feels cleaner than ever.

Cons:

None

Im so glad I found Baking Soda(omg, baking soda, on your FACE can you believe it?), its honestly the best exfoliator I've ever used. It makes my face feel cleaner than ever! I cant say its a miracle, but it does work to reduce red marks, and I have seen a small improvement in my acne. Try it, you'll fall inlove immediately! Oh, I use it everyday with no problems.

Pros:

Easy to make and very cheap.

Cons:

None.

This stuff is great although its not like a miracle. I've been using it for about a week and it has dried up a lot of the old ones and i think its preventing some of the new ones but not sure yet.

Pros:

Works fast, exfoliates, keeps skin soft and toned.

Cons:

Slite burning at first around the nose; if used everyday, severe burning around the nose.

I use baking soda every Thursday after I wash my face as an exfoliater. When I first started, I would use it every day and it made my skin very, very dry and sensitive. It also gave my skin around my nose a severe burning and stinging feeling, so I started using it once a week. (Which just so happened to be Thursdays...) Anyway, if I also have like, one or two pimples, I mix it with water and put in on the pimple(s) and it goes away!

Pros:

It works great! I have been using it for about 4 days and have seen a real difference. The acne that I had is slowly fading away, and no new pimples have appeared.

Cons:

It burns more than a little bit when it's on, and dries out skin.

This works great. I am very happy with it. Works better than programs I have tried. Thanks.

Pros:

CHEAP, easy to use as a mask or exfoliant, effective as something to use in addition to your regular skin regime. A rare case of an exfoliant, ino, that does not exacerbate the spreading of acne.
Makes skin less oily & smooth.

Cons:

It does make my skin a little red however its not irritated and the redness does not last long at all. Also if your not gentle or use it too often it can cause dryness/irritation. Be gentle! ;)

I'm very happy to see something thats SO incredibly cheap work as well as it does. I would not say this on its own would clear up my skin but its the ONLY exfoliant I've tried that hasn't made my problem worse. (St. Ives acne scrub spread my acne.. it was HORRIBLE I do not recommend it btw. Evil!) This is my current regime thats been working quite well.. (I don't use this everyday and certainly not more than once a day.) 1. wash with cetaphil anti-bacterial, rinse 2. lather hands again with cetaphil, add a pinch of baking soda, lather and GENTLY wash my face once more, rinse 3. pat dry. apply cetaphil moisturizing lotion

Pros:

Smooth and soft skin
Looks like I've been using an expensive serum
Cheap

Cons:

Made me break out :-(

Has anyone else experienced this? I'm starting to get very sad about the whole situation. I've only been using it a week so maybe it's just clearing all the gunk out. My cheeks and forehead are clear of acne and it looks lovely! However my chin area which is the infected bit has got worse! Also, the Baking Soda is called Bicarbonate of Soda in the UK I think!! Can anyone confirm this? THANKYOU :)
