Pros:

cheap, effective, and easy. Seems to actually work.

Cons:

Have to crush up the aspirin-also have to sit around waiting for mask to dry before washing off.

I've had acne for the last 12 years. My skin has never been horrible but my acne is persistent and seems to be resistent to most acne treatments. I've tried virually every kind of acne medication over the years-from benzoyl peroxide to accutane. Accutane cleared me up but clear skin didn't last long after discontinuing the treatment. After using the aspirin mask for around a week, I can actually see an improvement in my complexion. I currently don't have any active zits or pimples on my face! Don't know why it works or wheter or not it will continue to work-but, for now, it does. Seems strange to me that I've spent so much on various treatments when I could have tried this.

Pros:

Tightened pores, clearer skin, great on acnes... since it is anti-inflammatory agent.... like everyone else mentioned, baby soft skin.

Cons:

Tedious application, got to melt the pills in liquid (your fav. toner/oils etc.)... flaky mask, and pretty messy.

Amazing results, it is worth it! Should have tried it sooner! Chucking all other masks!

I take about 8 aspirin and mix with aloe vera and my skin feels amazing! I leave on for about 20 mins and when I wash it off the break outs have either disappeared or have shrunk down to where you can barely see them!

Pros:

Cheap..if done ight,and not too much..very effective.

Cons:

sensiive skin may not tolerate it well..a bit messy.

It is actually a good mask...however,I used it with water...and 2% glycolic acid...and nothing to moisterize my skin whilst exfoliating it off...and resulted in really dry skin... I did it again, the following day...and left it on fr 25 mins...I rinsed it off...and I had a hive like reult on my face...maybe because I scrubbed too hard? maybe because of the glycolic acid...whatever the ase,I will be steering clear from it a while.

Pros:

Really makes the large inflamed cysts go down in size. Takes redness away.

Cons:

messy, Takes time to mix.

I disolve 3 aspirin in a few drops on water and then add a capsule of niacinamide ( the kind you just open and pour the med out) with a teaspoon of oil free moisturizer and i leave it on all night every night. I have very oily skin so it doesnt dry me out too bad. (This may not work for people that dont have oily skin.) I have the large cystic type acne that are deep under the skin and this will lessen the size of them by morning. However i feel that this is a treatment for existing acne It doesnt prevent it.

Pros:

-reduces REDNESS/BLEMISHES
-tightens pores
-it's cheap...and it works!

Cons:

NONE!

I mix 4 aspirin with a droplet on each (uncoated) and about a teaspoon of aloe vera gel. It works miracles on my skin. I had mild to moderate acne on my jawline and sparse acne on my cheeks. After using this product everyday for two weeks, and then 3 times a week...you WILL notice a difference. Believe me...it's a miracle! :D
