Pros:

cheap, convenient, EFFECTIVE

Cons:

none so far!

well, i can't say much because i've only JUST tried it. but i can say that my skin is a LOT smoother after just one time! during the summer, my face has been REALLY clear--i used 3 different kinds of face wash morning and night in this order: Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash, Clearasil Ultra Daily Face Wash (but acne scrub is prob better), then Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser. My skin got SO NICE! It was totally smooth and i had NO acne! But i've recently just started to break out and my routine isn't working anymore. Maybe it's the heat or PMS, i'm not sure. But after using this aspirin mask, i've already gotten good results!

Pros:

Very affordable, easy to use, smooths skin, reduces redness

Cons:

None so far

I haven't noticed a great reduction in zits/bumps, however I've only been using it for 2 days. After I used it today I noticed my skin was glowing a bit, and my make up went on more smoothly. My own "recipe" is 4 crushed aspirin, a drop of aloe, and a tsp of honey. I gently scrub on my face for about 30 sec and then leave it on for 20-30 min. Gently rinse with warm water. I am excited to see if it reduces my acne. I will give an update soon :)

Reduces acne, smoothes skin, brightens skin, reduces inflammation of acne.

Awesome. In a few weeks I am confident that years of acne will melt away.

Pros:

Works better than any product out there that you spend a lot of money on!

Cons:

smells a bit, but worth the odor!

I am 40 years old with mild acne (due to hormones). I saw the acne mask suggestion on a website and decided to try it. I mixed 4 non-coated aspirin (you can buy a huge bottle at the Dollar Store) with 1/2 tsp. water and 1/2 tsp of honey. It stays on-although it is gritty. It is good to have the grit for a good scrub though! I had no irriation, my acne has decreased tremendously since using only 1 week every other day. I let it sit for 20 mins, then scrub it off. No irriation, and my skin is so smooth!!

Pros:

Smoother skin, dried out , decreased size of pimples

Cons:

caused more redness, hard to crush (although I may have bought the wrong one)

It may have caused more redness but it reduced the size of the acne and since it just dries everything out i suggest just moisturing it afterwards

Pros:

cheap, works better than all those topical treatments out there

Cons:

reduces redness alittle, but doesn't completely remove the pimle

i keep on getting inflamations that take weeks to get rid of, and the aspirin mask helps it a little but is not enough, i have applied it for a week, my large inflamation only shrinked by a little

Pros:

Cheap, easy, works like a miracle

Cons:

A bit messy, sniffed a bit in my nose sometimes :)

I loved it. Some say do it with honey or something else, I just use the aspirin directly with lots of water and let it dry on my face for about 10-15 minutes laying down. I use once every other day, keeps my face looking clear and settles all redness.

not a miracle treatment, but DEFENITELY improves your skin. don't expect results ASAP though. be patient, and you will be pleased with the results. aids in preventing significantly the # of future breakouts, but by no means eradicates pimples.

Pros:

Soothing

Cons:

Didn't work for me

After reading all the great reviews I thought that this might be the miracle cure I was after. I tried the mask using crushed aspirin and natural yoghurt with honey, I also tried it with moisturiser and honey. I did find it had a soothing effect and left my skin very soft and reduced redness a little. Also the day after applying the mask, some of the spots were smaller and less swollen. However this did not stop new spots appearing and did not make existing spots miraculously disappear. I used this mask 3 times a week for a few weeks. It is definitely worth a try though as others seem to have had a great response to it.
