Pros:

Smooth skin, cheap and easy to find

Cons:

Feels unpleasant

I put five crushed aspirin tabs in a tablespoon of honey and applied it like an exfoliator. The rough edges hurt and ended up making a scab bleed, so apply light pressure. I sat for 20 minutes and washed it off with warm water, pat dry. I didn't put anything on my skin afterward, because it was already hydrated from the honey. I noticed instantly that the redness had gone down, and the next morning my skin looked fresh and the redness had significantly reduced.

Pros:

It worked! Reduction in cysts, smooth skin, clear pores

Cons:

I can't use it on my cheeks as it made my redness worse

I've had bad skin for over twenty years and nothing has made me feel as happy as aspirin! I disolve 4 tablets in a little water and leave it on as a mask for twenty minutes every other night. My skin is smooth, my pores are mostly clean, but best of all i've a lot less cysts. Try it!

Pros:

My skin is so soft, less red and pimples went down in size! And it's CHEAP!

Cons:

None!

So I found out about this treatment through a person asking about it on Yahoo! Answers. I have had acne for years and also have psoriasis so my skin is so overly sensitive to everything. I got intrigued, came to this site and saw all the rave reviews and figured why not? I have used everything under the sun. And if things didn't take FOREVER to see some sort of result, products just wouldn't do a thing. And heck - aspirin is cheap! And wow ... did it work! Even as soon as I washed off the mask, my boyfriend just said, "WOW! Your skin is glowing!" My skin for the first time is so soft, feels clean and I don't even feel the need to wear makeup!

Pros:

Shrinks the size of zits
Helps alot with redness
Helps exfoliate
You have really smooth skin afterward
WORKS!

Cons:

Messy...once it dries, if your face so much as twitches, you'll sprinkle white powder all over your shirt and the floor. But I got used to it and it's not that annoying anymore.

Time consuming...I leave it on for 20-30 min usually, but sometimes longer if I can.

You can't go out in public while it's on because you look like Frosty the Snowman gone wrong.

Chances are you'll snort some by accident the first few times like I did. Achoo, let me tell you, achoo.

I looove this mask sooo much. After trying every OTC product out there (proactive, acnefree, nuetrogena, clean and clear, you name it) it's a little embarrassing to know that a $3 pack of 300 aspirin tablets from Walmart works better than a $40 3-step regimine that sucked! I haven't tried honey with it yet, because my mom doesn't want me using her expensive organic honey, but when I get some and start using it, I'll review again. I did use aloe, (well, it was Aftersun aloe gel, dunno if that counts) but it didn't really bonus anything, so I went back to plain old water. I'm hoping using honey will make it less likely to fall of my face and cause me to sneeze. USE IT! It's so cheap and effective....I don't know why that this home remedy isn't MUCH mire common...it makes no sense. People know more about the toothpaste zit remedy (Which is BS) then they do about this. A shame, really.

Pros:

Cheap, leaves your skin incredible smooth

Cons:

None

I was at first skeptic about using aspirin in your face... But after reading in several places about its effectiveness I had to give it a try. It works wonderfully, leaves your face SO smooth, my pores are almost invisible, my acne marks seemed lighter, my skin tighter... Give it a try! I'm gonna do this once or twice a week, since it's not recommended to do it very often.

Pros:

Redness reduced 80%
No new cysts
No large whiteheads
Puffiness reduced 80%

Cons:

None

Holy Cow, can't believe it. My son's poor red bumpy face is now smooth and calm. He stopped using the outrageously expensive Rodan and Fields regime after one day of using nothing but aspirin crushed up in water twice a day. It was like he had a raging fever on his face and all he needed was to bring down the inflammation. The puffiness I thought was part of his baby face is now greatly reduced. Thank you to everyone who recommended this.

Pros:

-Easy to make
-Inexpensive
-Makes skin smooth as a baby's bottom
-Dries out exisiting eruptions quickly

Cons:

-Tad bit messy

I dissolve four aspirin in a tablespoon, then add a few drops of honey. I gently rub the paste onto entire face - leave on for 20 minutes. As I remove, I gently exfoliate. I've been doing this daily for roughly 2 weeks now and my skin is smoother, brighter, and 'clean' looking. I'll continue with the daily use until I feel mild breakouts are under control - then I'll decrease usage to 3 or 4 times/week. Great mask!

Pros:

soothes the skin and brings down redness and inflammation, esp. when you use it with some aloe instead of water!

Cons:

none!

I've heard so many wonderful things about the aspirin mask, so today I went to the drugstore to buy some. Ever since I moved to Cali my acne got worse...the dry atmosphere and smog do NOT help :( I've tried sooo many different acne products and have probably wasted 100's of dollars. WOW! After 1 use the redness from my acne went down a ton and every blemish was smaller in size. I have super dry skin (fair, blue eyes, red head) so I made sure I moisturized plenty afterwards. I'm doing a 2nd one right now before bed...can't wait to see if I have more results in the morning :) I still follow a regular skin care routine, now using non-comedogenic, natural skin care products, even honey for my face! This will be a great mask for those pesky random flare ups. You've got nothing to lose, open your medicine cabinet and give it a try!

I have been applying aspirin mask just from last 5 days... and not even a single popup is there.... i have never reviewed anything on internet... but when anything helps you this way... its a sin not to appreciate it... Go ahead frndz... mix 6-7 aspirin tablets (disprin in india..just rs5 for 10 tablets) with one tablespoon of water and apply the paste(some may call it a peel) on your face evenly..let it dry for 10 mins... then wash it off... You can see the results even in 12 hours off application.... Thanks everyone....have a try..
