Pros:

totally reduces redness, swelling, pain, associated with breakouts

Cons:

kinda messy but well worth it

mixed a few aspirin tablets a few drops of water and some honey in a ziploc baggy. if you mix it with your fingers outside of the bag it dissolves super fast. Ive spent SO much money on stuff to treat acne, and nothing has worked as well as this. : )

Pros:

Aspirin, being the sole ingredient found in nearly all acne medications anyway, is almost magical.

Cons:

can it have any? ha, just don't do an aspirin mask more than once a day, it may thin the blood

Bottom line really is, aspirin is acne medication without the extra unnecessary ingredients. Companies put in scents, and other active ingredients that differentiates who their acne medication works for. Aspirin should help everyone, reducing redness and size of pores. Mix about 5 or 6 tablets with enough water to make a rather viscous mixture, too much water will make it runny and won't stay on the face very well. Some people use aloe vera or organic honey with the aspirin instead of water, but I just use water anyway. Apply entire affected area and leave on for about 15-20 minutes. Gently rinse off and admire your natural beauty. Use consistently every other day, and then onto every day after cleansing face with mild cleanser. Good luck!

Pros:

reduced inflammation, smoother skin, reduced appearance of acne

Cons:

may dry out skin

I can say that the mask did not necessarily reduce acne.. it only reduced the redness. But results were immediate as soon as I washed off the exfoliating mask - my skin was very soft and much of the redness disappeared. I've been using this mask every other day and I did not have problems of my skin drying out, considering that I have very sensitive skin.

Pros:

break outs are clearing up nicely
smooth skin
red spots are noticeably fading

Cons:

dries out skin if used too much
kind of messy to make...but its definitley worth it.
addictive!!

my skin broke out at the beginning of summer due to the humidity we've been having. i switched cleansers to Carleys Clear and Smooth. After using it for 2 months, my skin was so broken out and sore, it was worse than it has ever been. I have been a mess nearly all summer, and I was very upset. About 2 weeks ago I switched over to Spectrojel and Oxy Pads. About a week later, I heard about the Aspirin Mask and decided to incorporate it. all i can say is WOW. In the past week, my skin is remarkably clearing up. There are only 2 blemishes left that are bothering me. The rest have faded into red marks, which are easily covered with make up, and also the Aspirin Mask helps these fade quickly too. I was using the aspirin mask nearly everyday, sometimes twice, and the past couple days my face became very flaky and sore...however after not using it for a couple days, it is feeling better. I am so happy to have heard about this.

Pros:

Cheap, smoothes skin, reduces redness, minimizes pores.

Cons:

None.

I just used this treatment for the first time. I mixed 4 uncoated aspirin with a tiny bit of water, and left on my face for 10 minutes. After only this one use, my skin is softer, my pores appear a little smaller, and the redness of my face has been reduced a little bit. Next time I use this I will leave on for probably 20 minutes, and may use one or two more aspirins. But this is definitely promising - it isn't too often you see a real difference after only one use of anything. It didn't miraculously clear up my skin in one use, but it is definitely worth a try.

Pros:

it helped alot, and made all of my pimples shrink down until they were barely noticable

Cons:

it is kinda a pain in the but to smash the asprin up but it only takes like 5 seconds so i got over it

i hardly ever have pimples but this past week for some reason my skin broke out like crazy as you can imagine i was really upset so i tried the asprin and honey mask, as soon as i put it on i could tell my normaly itchy skin was feeling very soothed, i have tried alot of other treatments over the years and this is the only one that gave results without making me itch !!!!!

Pros:

cheap, easy, best acne treatment so far

Cons:

burns if you get it in your eye

This mask is cheap and easy to make. It didnt make a HUGE difference but it did help. It's better than proative or any of those other crappy products.
