Pros:

Cheap and works great!

Cons:

flaky and crumbly mess

This worked great. I noticed a difference the first day. As I began to use more I saw great effect of smoothness and shrinkage of bumps. Works well with toners and other care products. It is messy and crumbly so don't apply near eyes or nose! Still gets my vote

Pros:

Easy, cheap, effective

Cons:

Messy, makes me sneezy

One of my preferred acne treatments. I take Spironolactone for my skin, but I still get break outs. So, I put 5-7 aspirins in a small dish, add some water until they dissolve, and gently rub in circles onto my face. I leave the mask on for 30 mins, rinse off/exfoliate gently at the same time, and go to bed! I use it every evening, and it is a little drying, but a moisturizer fixes that problem. People say you have to crush, but you don't have to. Water dissolves them! Also, people put all sorts of other things in the mask, but if you want, water + aspirin is just as effective.

Pros:

its amazing! Perfect solution for acne. I did it every day for the last 2 weeks and i have literally PERFECT skin!

Cons:

Its a bit odd when you go to the pharmacist or chemist and ask for 5 bottles of aspirin

GO down to your nearest drug store and ask them for aspirin. It is pure salicylic acid and will cure your acne no matter how bad. Gets rid of Spots, red marks and scars, but mostly red marks! and without the red marks, your skin looks SOOOOO much better. Be sure to add honey as it is an antiseptic along with a nice moisturiser and holds the aspirin mask on your face. USE IT!

Pros:

Great all natural mask for evening out skin before a big event, Exfoliates bumps on skin, Reduces Redness, Lightens Acne scars, Reduces Pore Size (temporarily though), Feels relaxing and soothing on skin, Super cheap for a lot of pills

Cons:

Dries skin out a little, Messy when worn, Can be bad for skin moisture if used too often, Makes face super white and pale (but even-toned),

I decided to try this after a friend of mine swore by its power to clear her face up. It doesn't solve your all your acne problems but it does work great for smoothing your skin out and evening out your skin tone occasionally. It also fades acne scar redness slightly. Any time I see my face going downhill, I crush some pills, mix it with a few drops of water, spread it on my face, leave it on for 30 min max, and when I wash it off, my face is more even toned and the redness from my mild acne is lessened. But it didn't solve all my acne issues and it gets messy and flaky while on. I do recommend it as a face mask before an event though! Just be aware that it makes you a little paler. But since it evens out my skin a bit, my makeup goes on more smoothly!

Pros:

Makes my skin glow. It had reduce my scaring and redness almost instantly after using it. No ZITS! YaY!

Cons:

smells funny, and have to was a dish after I finish the treatment. XD

I have been taking on a lot stress for a few years and my face shows it. One wave after another of evil zits filled my face at times, and I was embarrass not for myself but for my husband. We would go out and I always wore my hair down to cover up as much of my face as I could. My darling husband knew I was depress because of my face but he did everything he could to help me get rid of it. Then I found the aspirin mask! Like everyone else I said to myself, couldn't hurt to try another acne treatment. After the first try I was amazed at my face. It was glowing and the redness was gone. What scaring I did have faded a bit and my pores shrunk. I use 2 tablets of aspirin, dropped 2 drops of water on it, mushed it and put one small squirt of honey on it. Since the Aspirin seeps into your skin and into your blood system, I think 2 would suffice. I was also lucky to find a bottle of 100 Aspirin for 99 cents.

Pros:

inexpensive, immediate results

Cons:

messy

I modified because I did not want to spread honey on my face and didn't have any Neutrogena Anti-Wrinkle cream. I used cetaphil cleaner with the aspirin, only left on for 10 minutes, then after washing off, applied LacHydrin 5. It worked great; my face is glowing and very soft. I would do it once a week or before a big event, but not more often than that.

Pros:

It works.

Cons:

actually making the stuff .. but who cares!

you guys.. IT WORKS !!!!!!!! trust me, I've tried EVERYTHING. and nothing has worked the way this has. I've done it only twice now, and I can still see a visible difference. I can't imagine how my face is going to be in even just a week. There are less bumps, less redness, and you get this natural glow. I LOVE IT Note: Don't forget to drink a lot of water. it makes such a difference.

Pros:

It left my skin incredibly soft. Also, my skin in a lot less oily than it used to be.

Cons:

I have used the mask (4 aspirins, some plain yogurt and aloe) once a week for 3 weeks in a row. Each time, my skin starts to get considerably more sensitive. (I have extremely sensitive skin). After, my skin feels very hot and burns slightly.

I have decided to only do the mask, once every 2 weeks. I love it though. My skin has never felt so soft and clean. People have even commented on my skin looking clearer. Someone even said that I was glowing, and it is not because of the redness, as the redness is gone by the time I wake up the next morning.

Pros:

It really works. Have had acne for the past five years. Over the counter products and prescription drugs (Accutane, Retin-A, Duac) only had temporary results.

Cons:

none

Actually, the honey and aloe vera are not required, simply put about 12 uncoated aspirin in a zip lock bag and use a hammer to crush them then add a little water to make a paste and apply for about twenty minutes two to three times a week to keep acne at bay. I also mix 1 tablespoon of vinegar to a cup of water and dab all over face for 20 minutes once a week to kill bacteria.
