Pros:

Smells amazing
Good exfoliator
Inexpensive

Cons:

Made my skin have a bunch of red spots which apparently was allergic reaction

I know this product has worked well for many people. Apparently not for me. I became allergic to this facial scrub and I went to the doctor twice for prescription. If are allergic to salicylic acid or have sensitive skin DO NOT use this scrub.

Pros:

Makes you feel very clean
Can use it on your whole body
Exfoliates very well
Easy to find - almost everyone knows about it or has tried it

Cons:

Didn't clear acne

I loved how clean this scrub made me feel, I would use it on my back and body daily to have a healthy glow and occasionally use it on my face (maybe 1x a week or less). It never cleared my acne but having that healthy glow was a great boost for my self-confidence. I would definitely recommend having this on hand.

Pros:

- Can feel it scrubbing so you know it's working
- It's very satisfying
- Gets rid of dead and flaky skin
- Cheap price for great quality
- Smells great
- Has natural ingredients
- Seems to heal existing acne rather quickly

Cons:

None

This product is a must have if you have really oily, flaky and dry skin. My skin is awkward because it's very oily in some areas, but dry and flaky in others. But, overall I am very satisfied with this stuff. It makes my skin soft after I use it and it takes off most of all my flaky skin. I haven't been using it very long, just one day so far, but the morning after the very first time I used it my existing acne looked like like was healing and getting smaller. I give it 100% recommendation.

Pros:

Smells great! You can feel it cleaning. The beads aren't harsh (depends on skin type I guess though) Doesn't leave behind a residue. Isn't oily or greasy. Doesn't irritate the skin. Doesn't dry skin (depends on skin type though)

Cons:

If there's scabs on your face you have to be careful or it'll scrub the wound larger.

I wash with it once a week. It doesn't make my red marks turn bright red like other exfoliaters tend to do. Prevents acne and takes out the existing acne rather quickly. Takes care of blackheads too. Works on most skin, I'd have to say people prone to extremely dry and flaky skin should really moisturize right after using this. It's a cream so it's not harsh like a gel but it does dry my oily skin very nicely. I LOVE this product. For $14 this really works for me and with how I use it it's lasted me very long.

Very irritating on my skin
I tried the St.Ives apricot scrub a couple times as a method to exfoliate my sebderm but after only 2 uses I had to throw this product away. It had a nice fragrance but that was pretty much the only redeeming quality. It caused my skin to redden and it irritated my whole face. I found the added exfoliants to be abrasive. I guess I prefer a chemical exfoliator. Very disappointed at the wasted money I shelled out to buy this.

Not good for sensitive skin
Gritty exfoliants always cause me to get little white bumps all over my face the following day. Everyone always says "thats just old stuff coming to the surface" but the shear volume of pus and the white color (white indicates brand new, old would be yellowish/hard) obviously indicates that it was an inflammatory response to the abrasive material in the scrub.

Pros:

cheap(always on sale)
exfoliates
cleanses well

Cons:

doesn't do anything of blackheads

This product works well for me. It won't get rid of your acne, it might help a bit because it cleanses it will prevent acne. I use this about 3-4 times a week because I don't want to over exfoliate. I usually use this product before doing a mask to open up my pores. I like the exfoliating beads, they do the job. Overall this isn't my favourite acne product but it's always in my bathroom because of it's price(4.50$ but it's always on sale for 2.99$! :))

Pros:

none :(

Cons:

ABRASIVE
dried skin out
did nothing for acne

So, I bought this when it was on sale. I read the reviews when I got home and found it was horrible for sensitive skin, even though it was natural, but I (stupidly) decided to use it anyway...oh, such a horrible idea. I know I'm going to get thumbs downs for this review, but I can't even begin to tell you how bad it is for your skin. It may make skin look OK in the short term, but in the longrun, not so much. It contains apricot seeds to "exfoliate and make skin smooth," but what it ends up doing is giving your skin minor cuts that make it so bacteria enters the skin--causing acne. If you have even mild sensitive skin, DON'T use this!!

Pros:

Cleans face well

Cons:

Beads can scratch the skin

This is ok, but I don't recommend it as an exfoliant because the beads can tear at your skin. It's better to use something that is more gentle with smaller beads. When I over use this product it causes me to break out like crazy.
