Pros:

-Left my skin smooth
-Helped "fading" blackheads
-REALLY exfoliating
-2% salicylic acid

Cons:

-Drying
-too much exfoliates which are really harsh
-Doesn't help acne "as" much
-Smell is to strong!

It was a good scrub but to harsh to use 2-3 times a week. Did nothing for blemishes, not even pimples.

Cons:

None so far..

This apricot scrub is such an awesome scrub, I LOVE IT My skincare routine consists of a wash with tea tree oil soap, then I use witch hazel toner, then I use 'natural instinct' daily mousterizer and of course I incorporate this scrub usually at night, and sometimes in the morning!! Definately recommend this scrub, bottom line - it's really great!

Pros:

-smells good
-helps acne a little
-CHEAP

Cons:

-scrub can irritate acne
-rough, kinda hurts if you scrub too hard

I got this because my mom said it would work for my skin, because it worked for her when she was younger (im 15 and have been dealing with acne since i was about 11). I saw SOME improvements in my skin within a few days, but not much. I have now been using it for about a month and feel like it's irritating my acne and maybe making it more red than it already is ( i haven't really broken out since i started using this except for a few new LARGE pimples on my forehead, which is weird because i almost never break out on my forehead, so maybe it is the wash). This might be because I have sensitive skin, but whatever. :(

Pros:

Smooths skin
Exfoliates well
Refreshes and wakes you up
Inexpensive

Cons:

Abrasive
Hard to wash off without scratching skin

This is a great exfoliator, and really gets rid of dead skin cells. I love the fact that this helps other products penetrate better, so you really get the full experience without all the dead skin build up. I definitely wouldn't recommend this for anyone with sensitive skin, because it is so harsh. Afterwards it leaves my skin feeling refreshed, clean, and awake. I recommend to use this 3-4 times a week, not every day.

Pros:

left skin feeling soft
Cleared up small pimples

Cons:

A bit harsh

This is a great exfoliator, though I wouldn't recommend using it everyday. The apricot particles scratch the surface of your skin, forcing it to stretch, and in turn, wrinkle faster. So, be careful not to scrub to hard on this, and I would say to only use it a few times a week.

Pros:

Smell great
gives you smooth skin

Cons:

make you break out a lot!

This is one of the products that works for your skin at first, but as soon as you've seen slight changes on your acne, you skin starts to get worse. This product can make your skin dry, and I don't recommend it for people with acne skin.

Pros:

-Smells good
-Extremely good price
-Easy to spread all over the face

Cons:

-Little granules cut into my skin leaving small scars
-Skin felt dry afterwards
-Dull Complexion
-More breakouts
-Redness on cheeks and forehead

I bought this a few years ago to use because the current Spectro products that I'd been faithfully using didn't improve my skin and made it dull. I went to Wal Mart, looked at the shelf of products and saw this St. Ives cleanser; read the promising words on the back and bought it along with a Clean and Clear moisturizer. I recognized the St. Ives brand and decided to give it a try. Naive, I thought that it would do exactly as the packaging promised. I thought that for my acne prone skin a scrub two times a day would be best at sloughing off the excess oil and bacteria. Instead, this was much too harsh, the parfum (fragrance) irritating and it only made my skin worse. I broke out along my chin and my forehead got worse. My cheeks became red so I looked like I'd developed rosacea! I've also tried the Green Tea Cleanser but none of them every did any good. I'm sorry to say that St. Ives is not a brand I'll buy in the future :(

Pros:

*Cleared my skin up completely
*Removes all traces of dirt & makeup
*Makes your skin wicked soft
*Has a fresh sent
*All natural, and NOT tested on animal <3 perfect for all us vegans+vegetarians :)

Cons:

None<3

This has been one of the only products to ever help my skin, and the only to completely clear it. Working as a construction worker, I am exposed to large amounts of dirt and dust in the air all day, resulting in numerous breakouts. I began using this product to remove the grime from my skin, and needless to say, I was amazed by the results. My acne was soon cleared, and my skin has never looked so healthy. Immedietly after you wash it off, your skin feels much lighter, and baby smooth to the touch. I now use it in place of my previous Benziol Peroxide treatment (Proactive) and I've noticed a signifigent difference. I can not recommend this product enough. It's been a life changer.

Pros:

-makes my skin feel like skin afterwards, if that makes sense? very pliable and like it can breathe while also being very soft
-dries out existing pimples
-smells nice
-exfoliates
-affordable at walgreens or cvs, at least worth trying. If you don't like it for your face it'd still make a nice body scrub. I just want to save all of mine for my face I like it so much.

Cons:

-does contain walnut powder, which my esthetician mother has warned me about
-scrubs are an every-so-often thing but I'm going to have to remind myself that every time I see it in the shower...
-has potential to scratch into deep layers of the dermis
-not all natural/organic ingredients, not important to everyone but is to some

I've made some dietary changes to help clear up my skin (see Health & Holistic forum) but I also had been looking for a cleanser for mild exfoliating in addition to acv, jojoba, and moisturizing. My friend's skin used to be as broken out as mine but I used her bottle of this and liked how my face felt after so I bought my own bottle the next day. I think it might be my new diet but this product has been helping a lot!
