went from 100 to 0

when i was 13 and i first started getting acne, sudocrem cleared my face over night- no exaggeration! at about 15 my skin was completely clear.

my acne  came back when i turned 18 and now when i try to use the cream my skin is more oily in the morning and i get break outs around the problem areas. not sure what changed?? went from loving it to loving it? i guess the individual needs to try it

only use a very small amount...
ive been using sudocrem on and off for many years. i use a very small amount on my problem areas when my skin is dry as most moisturisers cause me redness. in my experience it can cause some spots and under the skin lumps due to pores getting blocked but doesn't cause redness. hard to remove from face, you cant wash it off easily (almost needs to be scrubbed off). it also doesn't blend into skin, so not a product you want to wear outside the house.

Worked very well but blocked pores
The first day i used sudocrem i put it all over my face and went sleep the next day icouldnt f**king believe it. It was likei was back in high school. I did the same thing the next day and it got even better. However i realised some things are too good to be true and the next day my face broke out. BAD. Clogged my pores bad and dried out my skin. I will try it again once im off doxy ( doxy dried up my skin dont wanna completely destroy my face) or atleast when doxy fixes my skin. If you havent used this before try it it was the holy grail for me for two days.

At least it does something
Sudocrem for me doesn't actually help in getting rid of my spots, however it does take away the redness making it look better but the spot is still there. Does more by taking the redness away than most spot creams I've tried so it's not bad.

Use a quick fix...not a treatment

Pros:

Cheap and everyone has it
Can be used to conceal acne slightly

Cons:

Leaves your skin white (very hard to get off)
Does not remove or prevent acne

I have sudocrem on my spots for as long as I can remember, but it does not cure or prevent the acne at all. I use it on my angry red spots and blend it in to try to lessen the look of them but it usually just leaves me with a white stain. Good for spots that have been picked at or have bled, but I wouldn't use it as a treatment.

great for redness, but dries skin

Pros:

beats redness
quantity
nice smell

Cons:

dries out skin
leaves skin flaky

I was told this really helps a lot with acne wounds, but because mine tended to scab, it wasn't suitable to use because this really dries out the skin. But, it is very effective in lightening the skin once the wound is gone and it has left only redness on the face. As soon as I noticed that, I tried using it on a reddish area and it cleared up during the night, no more redness!

A decent acne product.

Pros:

Anti-Inflammatory

Cons:

Thick
Drying

It's useful if you have a specific area that is very inflamed, but generally I find it much to thick, and quite drying with repeated use.

Makes a difference

Pros:

Cheap (ish)
Gentle for sensitive skin (like mine)
Reduces soreness and redness of spots

Cons:

I only use it before bed as it doesn't sink in very well so it looks white on the skin

Sudocrem is great for healing large, red angry spots as it tends to make them less sore. So many other spot treatements have just dried out and damaged my skin so its great that I don't need to worry about that with sudocrem.

Pros:

Very Cheap
Reduces Spot size
Reduces Redness
Help get rid of spot marks

Cons:

Quite Messy
I find that while it reduces some spots it also creates a few more spots
Tingly on face (but that only means its working)

I read the tub of Sudocrem and was surprised to find out it cures Acne. I'm going through a rough time with my skin and found that Sudocrem is effective in reducing spot size and helps get rid of spot marks! I would recommend wearing it at night and be sure to put a towel on your cushion before you sleep because it will rub off our face when your sleeping. Give it a go, whats the worst that could happen? :)

Pros:

Reduces red marks
Cheap
Doesn't run out too quick

Cons:

Can't really go out with it on your face
PAIN to wash off
Bright white
Doesn't cure acne

For me, all it does it reduce redness, it's very hard to wash off, without actually scrubbing your skin sometimes, it's really not the best for acne prone skin and I don't recommend it, however, if you need to reduce an inflamed spot, It's an okay choice, it will work to reduce the redness, just, it wont cure the spot, and you cant go out with it on.
