Pros:

Dries out spots a treat, without drying out the skin, inexpensive, readily available

Cons:

leaves white marks, so don't apply too much if you are going out!

I've had acne for over 20 years, and have tried all manner of treatments, but I have to conclude I wish i'd discovered this stuff way back then! I started using it last monday...i had several big cystic spots, and about a dozen smaller pimples. I used it overnight initially, and when i awoke next morning, the large spots looked noticeably smaller, and the redness had subsided...i continued to use it morning and night for a further week, and guess what? My spots have almost disappeared, my skin feels softer and even my large open pores seem smaller. I'm going to continue using it for the forseeable future, and going to cross my fingers that it continues to work its magic! I urge you to give it a try...go on, you have nothing to lose, i'm over the moon with the results, and i hope it works for you too!

Pros:

It really works and the tubs lasts for ages and can be used for a variety of ailments!!

Cons:

Smells a bit antiseptic-y...but who cares with these results!!

My family have always sworn by sudocrem...my grandmother was the one who suggested it for nappy rash when my brother and i were just bubbas. We use it for everything now...cuts, sores, sunburn...and SPOTS!! I also have allergic reactions to most other creams when applied to open cuts...sudocrem is the ONLY one so far which my body accepts. I LOVE IT!!!! It is nice and thick so if you apply a layer at night time to a spot etc then it's good as it stays in place. Then when you wake up just gently wash your face. I read somewhere that continual use can lead to pigmentation damage...because of this i would only use for desperate out breaks and really bad spots/cysts. I think this just means not to layer it on every day for years or anything though :-) I hope it works for you all too! I even used it on my horse last year when he got a terrible skin condition...the vet gave us £100 of meds that didnt work..sudocrem cleared it up in 2 days. 2 DAYS!!

Cons:

I too much is applied then you will be left with a white mark on your face.

This Sh*t works.....And im kinda disappointed that I have only just learned about this product because I suffered as a teen with acne and I believe sudocream would have helped me then. Check out [link removed] for more info

Pros:

Completely takes away redness
Makes spots a million times less noticeable
Makes skin feel and look smoother and less irritable
VERY cheap

Cons:

Depending on your skin type, it may leave skin a bit oily
Can't wear it during the day (unless you want to walk around with bright white all over your face haha!)

Basically, I am a fifteen year old girl who has suffered with awful skin since I was thirteen. My skin first started to become bad when I was eleven/twelve, it became very oily and looked greasy and this was way before I started wearing any make up. It has got progressively worse! My skin is the main thing that I really dislike about myself. I can't remember the last time I had perfectly healthy skin with no spots, I always seem to have spots and I hate it. I first tried Sudocrem when I was thirteen, when I first started to get big red spots, mainly on my forehead. It completely took away the redness which I was very grateful for, however I stopped using Sudocrem after I was told by my auntie, who is a nurse, that it makes your skin more oily which is what I didn't want at all considering I already have oily skin. So I stopped using it and tried an unbelievable amount of different products and to be honest absolutely none of them have worked. My skin got a lot worse and now I have a lot of scars and red marks from previous spots. Because I'm now fifteen, I've been put on the contraceptive pill called Marvelon which I was told is supposed to be very good for acne. I've only been on it for two months and I've not noticed much difference yet (they said it would take up to three before I'd see a change) so I decided to go back to Sudocrem! For the past three weeks I've been back to using Sudocrem, putting it on each night after removing my make up and I couldn't be happier. My friends told me just today how much better my skin is looking and I can only thank Sudocrem! I have literally tried EVERYTHING for my spots and nothing seems to work as well. So far it doesn't seem to be making my skin any oilier and is making my spots almost disappear (which trust me has never happened before!!!). Unless the pill (Marvelon) has something to do with it, the only other thing I can thank is Sudocrem! I would definitely advise people with bad acne to try it!

Pros:

Reduces redness
Reduces spots
Reduces spot sizes
CHEAP!
Makes your skin clearer
lighten scars!!!!

Cons:

It's a little thick
Quite hard for it to try
It can get easily on your pillow etc

I have been using this fine product for 3 days so far, and I am seeing major major improvements. It has lighten my scars!!! ALL OF THEM and has lighten my old acne scars that I've had 3 years ago. It hasn't completely got rid of my scars but they are lighter. Sudocrem has shrunk my spot size, and has dried them. It also reduces redness of the face and spots. I used to have redness on my cheeks and now they've gone. It also brightens my face and makes my skin looks smoother. Only thing is that when you apply it on your face, its quite thick and you can't really sleep with it without it getting all over your pillow case. This is how I normally use it: First of all I cleanse my face with a gentle cleanser, then I use a face fash, then pat dry and use a toner. After that, I moisturise and leave my face to dry for a couple of minutes, then apply sudocrem to the areas of my face that is needed. I leave it on while im on my laptop for like 2 hours then I just wipe it off with some tissue because I don't want it on my pillow case. And wake up the next morning seeing major results. Sometimes I use face masks after cleansing then I moisturise and then apply sudocrem, that normally gives me major major major results the next day. Hope this has helped you to consider this product.

Pros:

cheep
can use all the time unlike oral acne treatments that need to be avoided when pregnant or breastfeeding
reduces spot size
seems to prevent large out breaks

Cons:

can't wear during the day as its too bright white

I tried so many creams and prescriptions, only the oral tablets seem to work for me.. I have hypothryoidism which contributes to my spot problem. When I started trying for a baby I could no longer use the oral tablets and with added hormones when pregnant I had out breaks on my back and face. Sudocrem has been a lifesaver, I use a thin layer every night making sure I rub it in so that it doesn't rub off on my pillow. If I have the odd large spot I do dolop a bit more on though.. who cares about the pillow!! ;-) I don't tend to use it in the day anymore unless i'm at home with no one around then I leave the make up off and put some more on. It really seems to reduce any redness and swelling and has helped fade scars from previous outbreaks. Highly recomended. I now only have the odd spot which I can cope with and my back is compleatly clear and scar free.

Does what it says
Will reduce the inflammation and size of pimples. Not a cure to acne but a good aid and although I have flirted with many products, I find myself coming back to this one.
