Pros:

- Reduces spot size
- Lightens scars
- Smells nice

Cons:

- Made my skin a bit dry
- Can take a while to work
- Stopped working after a few months

Applying this stuff, will make you look super pale, so I suggest wearing it indoors, unless you like the Casper look :P But anyway, I used this product for a few months and for a while I did see improvements. Redness was starting to get lighter and dabbing a blob of Sudocrem on a spot with a bit of toothpaste would reduce the size of it if left over night. However, it did leave my skin a bit dry and flaky and I found after a few months it didn't really work anymore. I think Sudocrem is best suited for those who have very light to moderate acne.

Pros:

Helps to reduce redness of spots, dries them out quicker and is a good cheap alternative to most spot creams.

Cons:

Doesn't cure spots and has no effect on black heads.

It's probably best to wear it during the night although if you rub it in enough you can wear it during the day (done it plenty of times) My skin is quite greasy but has actually made it less greasy and softer. Reduced size and redness of spots in less than a week. I'm from the U.K so I didn't buy it in dollars...so I'll just put $2...

Worked for a while
This really controlled my breakouts for about 3 weeks but then all of a sudden I really broke out. I'm not sure why, maybe my body built immunity towards it? Either way, I think it's worth giving a try since it did help initially and my skin was flawless for a few weeks.

Did you continue to use the product? As your breakout may have been from something else? Or did you just stop using it completely

Really good stuff, for the most part
This cream is great at reducing redness, and is provided in ample quantity. Results come quickly, but in my own experience, I've found it to be limited. It caused no irritation whatsoever and has only a very subtle scent. There are some drawbacks to consider. For one, you'll most likely find that this is the densest viscosity possible for a topical cream, the consistency is very much like clay. Also, it's highly resistant to rinsing, so be careful with how much you apply. A thin layer is all you need. It takes a little while to be absorbed by the skin, which makes it a worthwhile strategy to use this in the evening and leave it on overnight. Depending how much of this you use and how evenly you distribute it, there may still be some noticeable excess in the morning, though, and as mentioned, rinsing this stuff isn't easy.

works

Pros:

gentle
not stiff and slimy
doesn't have that awful smell that most creams have

Cons:

nothing
nothing
nothing

I'm with Emma888. It doesn't work on the acne as such, but the mark that the acne leaves behind are gonners with this super cream.:-) Get a tissue and squeeze out the yellow stuff. ( only when the head goes white/yellow) Wait until it goes down (usually takes on day; two at most) and when there is only a mark/red spot, put the cream on, wait a couple hours (I leave it over night) then your spot will have gone. If you use to pick at it, it still I'll heal, but may take a little longer. Also, apply about 1/2 - 1mm of sudocrem, I've been doing this for two days (I used to pick the scab), and my face is clear. Hope it works XXX Georgia:-)

Pros:

- Cheap
- Minimizes pimple size
- Reduces redness
- Improves spots

Cons:

- Quite thick
- Bright white so you can't wear it during the day
- Often rubs off of your pillow, sheets and cover during the night
- If applied at night there will still be a generous amount left on your face left in the morning and you have to scrub your face to get it off, which is difficult and it irritates your skin, sometimes worsening acne.

Sudocrem is not 100% great but it is definitely the best problem I have used so far. It's very cheap and easy to afford. I got a small tub for £2.00 and it lasts months. It really improves pimples. If you apply at night, you see a very noticeable improvement in the morning. After about a month, I noticed a very big difference to my acne. It was almost gone. If used consistently for several months, I believe it will get rid of all your acne. On the other hand, Sudocrem is quite thick so it's hard for your skin to absorb most it. Because of this, it rubs off on your pillow, sheets and cover while you are sleeping. My main problem with Sudocrem is that in the morning there's always quite a bit left on your skin and because it's bright white, you have to take it off, which is difficult. You have to scrub and this irritates the skin, sometimes worsening acne. Overall, it's a good product that I would recommend as the pros override the cons.

How about using Bioderma sensibio cleansing water and cotton pads? Make up artists use it. Easily removes oily products.

Pros:

leaves skin feeling very smooth
dries out pimples
gets rid of scabbed pimples or old acne marks
cheap

Cons:

can't be worn during the day
may cause more acne is not washed off correctly
very messy

Right so, i'm 20 years old and acne has literally been the bane of my life for 4 years now but the severity of my acne has only really come into play in the last year. I always had pimples and always relied on sudocrem to cure it until i got sick of having to lather my face in this cream so i went to my GP where she put me on tetralysil and duac... this worked for a while but my acne came back worse than ever and flared up when i got stressed over exams etc. I then went on minisol which didnt work and now im monotrim 300mg. I have literally tried every acne product and home remedy under the sun and no matter what the doctor or the derm says i always end up coming back to this cream. in the last couple of days ive noticed that my face had been evening out due to the antibiotic but the redness was still there. after about five nights of sudocrem the redness was gone and im nearly acne free having spent literally hundreds on acne treatments in the past.... SO BUY THIS

Pros:

Reduces pain
Reduces redness
Speeds up the healing process
Great value for money
Smells good
Can be worn in the day as a barrier between skin and make-up if applied VERY thinly

Cons:

Not suitable for large areas - much more effective on singular spots or very small clusters of spots
The tendency is to smother the spot in cream however this could easily result in pore blockage due to the oily consistency of the cream

I am a 19 year old girl with light acne. When I do get spots they tend to be very painful and appear large. I discovered Sudocrem through a friends recommendation and have never looked back since. I use it in conjunction with Malin and Goetz acne treatment ([link removed] which is essentially just sulphur applied to the skin and left overnight. When I notice a spot emerging I use the Malin and Goetz for the first night and Sudocrem for nights thereafter. This method has never failed to get rid of the spot within 3 days - no matter how large! I have recently been under a lot of stress and this have affected my skin badly so to tackle the problem without altering my lifestyle drastically I have been put on a very intense facial treatment course which includes vigorous extractions and facial peels. I had my first treatment 5 days ago and am still bearing the effects of it. The treatment left my problem areas (cheeks, nose and chin) extremely red and sore. I was told I would experience peeling on these areas and immediately began applying a thin layer of Sudocrem every night. I bumped into the woman who did my extractions by coincidence yesterday and she said commented on how remarkably quickly I was recovering - I can only thank Sudocrem because usually my skin takes far longer than expected to heal.

Cons:

Nothing

I am now 30 and have suffered my entire life from hereditary acne (the worse case of boils under the skin, after taking Acutane I was cured or so I thought for life. 3 years on, my acne is back worse than ever, and in despair I have been testing out all treatments (soon to try Oxygen therapy) however the one thing that is clear to me.....Sudocrem works.....I am so passionate about its ability that I want to work for these guys. Wonderful stuff, YOU HAVE TO TRY IT. Keep smiling and strong whilst you are suffering the worst confidence issues with Acne.....we've all got to get through this and find a cure to ensure that other's don't have to suffer like we have.........
