Does what it says
Will reduce the inflammation and size of pimples. Not a cure to acne but a good aid and although I have flirted with many products, I find myself coming back to this one.

Pros:

Reduces redness and acne scarring within 2 applications.
Dries bigger spots up
Keeps the skin clear if applied each night
Balances PH levels of oilly skin
It is undamaging to the skin
Very cheap

Cons:

None what so ever however it makes your face look like casper

I would not use if on antibiotics in which dry your skin out. Excellent product i have tried everything for around 1 year now and my acne especially on my jawline has become aggressive aswell as the odd spots on the rest of my face. After aplying one night and leaving it on the redness reduced dramatically, the big spots dried up after a few nights, and my skin tone looks even and healthy. I use this everynight before bed and then use johnsons baby lotion on the morning to keep my face moisturized. I have done this routine for 2 months now and touch wood i have not developed any spots. The comments are amazing.

Pros:

IT WORKS!
Cheap
Easy

Cons:

Very messy! (Gets everywhere!)
It stings
Unsightly
A liitle drying with the BP (but just add moisturiser in the morning after washing)

I am a 22 year old girl and I developed acne around 10 months ago. My Acne and pigmentation on my cheeks has 70% gone in just 3 days! Here is what I have been doing: *Washing my face, gently for 10 seconds on affected area with a standard facewash (mine is Nivea daily wash) *Let dry *Apply Benzoyl peroxide (I've worked my way up to 10% over the last 6 months) *Leave 15 minutes *Apply Sudocrem all over affected area (not too thickly) *Sleep *Wash face in the morning, the same as first point. In 3 days this has dramatically helped my acne and I am so happy. I have tried everything from cheap spot creams to laser treatment at £200 a pop (which didn't even work) and so far, this is the best...AND THE CHEAPEST! I would say that it does sting for about 5 minutes when I apply it, others say it doesn't. I just work through it and it is worth it in the morning- I guess it is the anitseptic in the cream that makes it sting? I hope it works for you, acne is horrible and takes your confidence! It's friday night and for once- I'm feeling good about going out :)

Pros:

Cheap- very!
Reduces redness
Reduces swelling of spots
Won't hurt or dry out your skin

Cons:

Messy
Cannot be worn during the day

I love using this product, but only overnight- due to it's thick texture and bright white colour you probably wouldn't want to go out in the day with it on! I think this mainly makes the redness of your spots go down, though I find, depending on the spot type, it does more often than not reduce the swelling. Like most things, it won't make the spots disappear overnight, but it definitely improves them by the morning. Quick tip- you may want to sleep on a towel or something that will protect your pillow! I've found it is more effective for reducing size and redness of spots than any specific spot product I've tried so far. This is cheap and hassle-free enough that even if it's not quite right for you, it's worth a try!

very bad
i have extremely sensitive skin. i was told to apply it down there. You think after some time that you need to stop but doctors kept recommending it to me. What i really think is you need to stay away from applying creams gels ointments or even intimate washes. Doctors have become salespeople. Don't listen to them because your skin problems will quadruple. Some of the ingredients are: liquid paraffin paraffin wax lavender oil (which causes a rash and is also found in foundation) propelyne glycol All the above ingredients cause CANCER. What is wrong with you chemists?! I was urged (by 3 gynos) to apply it twice a day for a year! i shaved everything this morning n it looks like i got acne i didn't know existed. It clogs your pores so you get even more acne. I have used it among many lotions and washes prescribed by the best doctors in town. Don't listen to them because you are just a paying customer. Use the simplest soap or shower gel you can find in the market. My advice: Stay close to nature as much as possible. Nature loves you. Nature adores you. Nature does not harm.

Wait. You're getting rashes or breakouts on your genitalia? It could be something else like fabric softener or the soap you're using. Even a dreaded STI. I would get that checked out by a gyno and not a general doctor.

If you have sensitive skin about the worst thing you can do is shave anywhere, especially your bikini area. Surely the doctors you have seen have mentioned that? Of course you are meant to use the simplest, right PH product for washing your genitals. Sudocream is designed to create a barrier to protect the skin from urine in babies to prevent & treat nappy rash. It is perfectly safe to use externally. It is very effective at easing discomfort in that area if needed. I think it sounds like you need some better advice & to discuss what you do with a doctor. There is no way someone with sensitive skin should be shaving, especially if you have a skin condition in that area. There are far less irritating ways of removing hair.

Pros:

Cheap & Lasts Forever
Reduces Spot Size & Massively Redness
Turns Oily Skin To Nice Skin

Cons:

Works On Big Spots But Might Want Something More Powerful To Use Alongside Sudocrem
Overuse May Dry Out Skin

Very effective at reducing redness. I don't tend to get that many big spots more often I have a group of smaller spots on nose/chin and general redness in those areas and it was the redness that made it obvious I had acne. The white colour of sudocrem makes the redness look instantly better but after wearing it for 1-2 hours and washing it off the skin still NO REDNESS (calmer skin, smaller bumps, no redness yay!). Also skin went from feeling oily to being dry (not flaky though just no longer oily). My acne after was barely noticeable just little slight bumps that go away with time. Also for the single big spots it reduces their size and redness but I find sudocrem slightly less effective on them. I try to find something more powerful for those buggers! If you are worried about flaky dry skin probably don't wear it overnight, maybe put it on in the evening for a few hours and then moisturise afterwards. I don't use sudocrem regularly (it doesn't prevent spots just helps treat them - although it does help prevent oily skin on nose etc which could help prevent spots in that way) and idk if using it too often will have a drying effect on your skin. Basically I only use it when I have bad/red spots and put it on the affected area (no complete full face mask) and it works wonders for me! Sudocrem is a must have for anyone I'd say. It says on the tub it treats rashes, eczema, surface wounds, sunburn, other minor burns, acne... Loads of stuff! Sudocrem has been around for AGES and the reason for that - it works! Plus whatever this amazing stuff is it's patented so there are no copies. Not that you need a cheap knockoff anyway sudocrem don't dress their tub up to look fancy so they can charge loads for it, they keep it cheap, which is great! Plus a tub of this really does seem to last forever haha! Sorry for writing an essay

Pros:

Helps heal whiteheads/papules
Helps heal popped pimples
White cast conceals redness
Cheap - only paid £2.99 for 60g which lasts forever

Cons:

Doesnt prevent acne from forming
Using over large areas can result in clogged pores and breakouts as it is comedogenic
Can give false hope - acne appears drastically reduced, actually down to the colour of the product

This is good to help heal individual spots and prevent them from scarring but I wouldnt call it a miracle product that some people think it is.

Pros:

It's cheap
It has no real smell
Easy to apply
Clears up spots really well

Cons:

You look like a ghost! Apply at night time

It does what it says on the tin! And more. I too heard it on a British show TOWIE and had just broken out in my time of the month spots... Same time every month. I used it for the first time today after seeing an acne sufferer use it in the television. Thought I would see if it would work.... Cleared redness and dried out all my spots but not skin. Would totally recommend. I have fairly Sensitive skin and it's non abbresive but i wouldn't recommend using it everyday as it would probably leave your skin feeling quite dry. Use e45 or a water based non sented cream which most chemists sell for around £3. I've tried them all and the cheap over counter are the best! Good luck if you use it you will be stunned by the results.

Pros:

- cheap ,
- lasts ages ,
- reduces redness and size of spots on the first night i used it ,
- can buy it almost anywhere
- can be used for tons of difernt things
- smells okay

Cons:

- quite hard to rub in
- can get messy

i bought sudocrem after reading so many possitive reviews , ive been using it for a couple of weeks now and i noticed a differens in the size and redness of the spots , i got a 250g tub for £4 , and the tub lasts ages. ive been using it every night , either as a mask by aplying a thin layer all over my face before i go to bed , the only bad thing about this is that you have to spend a bit of time getting it off before you wash your face , but that dosent take very long , and it could go over your pillow so i would recomend putting a towel over your pillow , or i just dot it on any spots i have and simply rub it in , and ive found that works just as well. ive had acne ever since i was about 1- or 11 , so realy young , ive tryed many differnt things over the years and so far sudocrem has been the best ive tryed , you can use it for loads of other things , and you dont need a lot at all , id definetly rate this 1O / 1O , and i would recomend it to anyone , hope this helped <3.
