Pros:

-cheap
-helps reduce swelling on existing pimples
-helps reduce redness
-not drying
-seems to aid healing

Cons:

-Doesn't seem to help with prevention
-helpful but not enough by itself for me

This is a good option to use in combination with others. I definitely notice a difference when I am using it.

Pros:

Calms redness, smoothes skin, fades marks, prevents new spots from getting out of hand.

Cons:

Takes some patience before you see real results. Sometimes stings a bit when first applied, and can cause temporary redness, but these soon fade.

I've been using this gel every night (leave on until morning) for a couple of months now. Straight off it made my skin feel healthier and smoother. But now I'm also seeing results with my redness and scarring. Also, while it's not miracle spot prevention, it certainly stops them getting so inflamed, and helps get rid of them quicker. I use organic gel from a health shop. Make sure you get a very high concentration gel, because sometimes they dilute it with other stuff that's not so good for your face (I've got 99% gel).

Pros:

Helps heal the skin and scars
Is all natural
Makes the skin smooth

Cons:

Smells nasty
Doesn't stop skin from breaking out

I used to cut off a leaf, squeese out some gel and apply it all over the face every evening (I'd use the same leaf next evening, until there's no more gel in it). In the beginning it improved the skin quite a lot, making it more healthy-looking and healing pimples, scabs (I used to pick a lot) and red marks. But it didn't stop my skin from breaking out and after a while I got tired of having this nasty smell on my face every night (a bit like sweat). I'd recommend using it as treatment for healing areas on your skin if you have a plant yourself. But I'm quite sure it doesn't stop pimples from forming - at least not on me.

Pros:

inexpensive
can easily purchase anywhere
calming smell

Cons:

sticky

I started using aloe vera gel on my face during summer time to relieve my sensitive sun burned skin. After my sunburned went away i found myself still using aloe vera because it had a cooling effect and gave my face a more even skin tone and texture. I would recommend using this product just a few times a week if you have an extremely dry or irritated area. It does not in any way clear breakouts or prevent acne but it helps soothe very irritated skin.

Pros:

Aloe grows quickly and is hassle-free
I think it's a pretty plant to have
It's extremely natural

Cons:

Takes some time and planning

When I met my would-be husband, he had an aloe plant that he got on the free table in the basement of his apartment. He never watered it. It just sat there and looked pretty. And when I started watering it, it would grow 2-4 new "shoots" overnight, and they would be full length very quickly. It's great because it's a hassle-free plant with a variety of uses. Whether you water it or not it will stay alive. It helps with scars but you must be very very particular about how much you apply - too much and it will clog your pores all up. Use it topically.

Pros:

Really helped during Dan's Regimen. Soothed and cleared up flakiness very quickly.

Cons:

None so far.

I had used benzoyl peroxide before, but when I started the Regimen, I had dry, flaky skin. I was surprised, because I have very tough skin. So after a month of dry skin, I put Sea & Ski's All Natural Aloe Vera. It immediately soothed and controlled my flakiness.

Pros:

Soothing and kind even to sensitive skin
Skin Glows and feels soft.
Tightens Skin

Cons:

Did not do anything to the spots
After about a day I had new ones and then really broke out about a day afterwards

If you have light acne, this would probably be good to use but for people with anything worse the chances of breaking out seem pretty high.

Pros:

It's natural, can be used for almost anything, and even tastes good (if you're hungry)

Cons:

It leaves a waxy and sticky feeling on the skin, but it fades away slowly

This stuff is great. I use it straight from the plant. If you can, go to a store that sells plants or get it from the greenhouse in your town/school and use it on your face (Cleopatra did). It will help calm inflammation, and along with a good wash and SPF, it's great. My acne is mild now (used Retin-A/Duac/minocin to clear up moderate acne) and it helps rid of zits and redness within a few days if I get them.
