Better than most products
I had acne skin like a year ago and I (who used to have no pimples or anything ) was really sad about my face. I would cry and buy tons of products and hope it would cure my acne but a year has gone and my acne is fading, and now there are scars & hyperpigmentation left but sometimes a 1 or 2 pimples here and there I was testing a new product , Zymogen Centella ferment cream, in the hopes of getting rid of my acne redness and scars but unfortunately I broke out . My grandma suggested that I apply the aloe Vera (from the plant),she said that it would heal. I applied it for two weeks and my breakouts reduced. It definitely made a difference! And you surely would notice the difference ,it's quite noticeable (for me) Although two pimples have popped up because I slept really late yesterday hahaa Try it out ! It's really amazing p/s : it really made a difference for me so I made this post (and this account) to share my review

Does sleeping late affect acne?

Excellent for scars!
the actual aloe vera plant has helped my skin so much! I've been replacing it to my old facewash, and my skin breaks out so much less. Turns out i was using too much chemicals, and im going the natural way and this has helped HEAPS. I now only breakout with small whiteheads which is unusual because i've never broken out with these types of pimples. However, i think its because my face is recovering and healing :) For me personally, the natural way has always been the best way as these products are something you would consume orally, thus i felt like my skin was ALREADY used to it so it worked fast. Also try drinking aloe vera, its helped just as much. (make sure it doesnt have a sh*t load of sugar in it)

hi, can i know how you use the gel? is it just like a face wash?? or do you put it like a cream? thanks
December 18, 2015
@kellyptrcia no just cut the leaf from the plant and cut it in half exposing the gel and just scoop the gel out and apply it all over. I use this before my face wash on scars. I used to use pure aloe vera gel as a mask/cleanser every night.

have you seen an improvement in your scars? like have they faded and gotten less deep and noticeable?

Did those whiteheads stop popping up at some point? Using it for a week now for acne scars and getting whiteheads which is new to me. Should i be concerned?

Really doesn't do anything at all
I've tried 100% aloe Vera gel so so many times as it has such high reviews and many people reccommend it. However it's never done anything at all for my skin, if anything made it worse

Pros:

everything in one
-treatment
-moisture
-vitsamins

Cons:

ingrediants are not perfect, this can not be used all the time and alone, at least few times a week you should
or make your skin brath normally and not put anything
or put a am or pm cream

First want to thank EVERYBODY in this site - i suffered from acne so many years, after i found this site i cured myselve completly. With medium acne and bacne, also neck acne (i took medicines, antibiotics for a while - so they caused it) - now i have light, but they are invisible at all - few marks, but i stoped buying expensive cremes - and I have bought this one in wallmart a lot bigger bottle for 3 dollars. try it - andno effect. I used BP and cremes - am and pm then, it was so annoiying but it helped, i used 2 big bottles of bp. after i realized that it's enough - as every time i skip - it almost the same, I started to take fish oil and tablets of apple cider viniger and in 2 weeks i was almost clear. I realized the problem is deeper in my head - i need to be always happy - try to live no stress - exercises helped, always think what i am eating (now - only healthy food with a lot of natural oils and omega 3, fruits, veg, lemon water every day, a LOT LESS salt and sugar) i couldn't just stop treatments of skin topically at all - so i continued with cremes after washing. but noticed i need smth not greasy at least 1 a day. so i tryied this bottle again and i still stay with it. now - i use it couple times a week - morning or evening, also i use Cerave-pm once a week. So as u can see on different stages of clearing this product can be good or bad. also it depends on skin problems from one to another. Capsule of apple cider viniger and capsule of fish oil and water, often lemon water, and different kinds of topically uses of aloe products and a big smile saved my life!

Pros:

Tightening feeing
Moisturizer
Acne reducer
Helps treat sunburns
Smooth feeling after use
Affordable

Cons:

Honestly can't think of any...

I love how this product has helped my skin! I first started using aloe vera to help with my sunburns a few years back and it not only did it help with the pain, the burn cleared up within days! I read on the label how it can be used on acne so I started using it on my face. My acne reduced and my skin was alot smoother, although it took a month to see the full affect. I also love the firming or tightening feeling it leaves after using it, to me, it's almost like it's repairing my skin while turning back the clock. Cheesy but true. :P

Pros:

Smoother Skin
Less Redness
Helped heal extracted pimples quickly

Cons:

CONTAINS DMDM HYDANTOIN
Wrecked havoc on my already severe acne
Gave me hundreds and hundreds of tiny white bumps coating my entire face-forehead to chin, cheek to cheek.

I completely changed my skin care routine mid-summer because my skin was having a severe breakout and I was desperate to find something that worked. I began using fruit of the earth aloe vera gel (along with other things) on top of or underneath my moisturizer, morning and night. At first my skin because to heal rapidly. Then I began to develop tiny white bumps across my forehead, which alarmed me, but I assumed it was from the heat. They quickly spread in less than a week to coating my entire face. In desperation I switched out every single one of my new products for old, trusted ones EXCEPT the aloe vera, because I thought there was no way it could be causing it because it's 'all natural.' .....I know better than that. But for some reason, I was clueless this time, and continued using the aloe vera until FINALLY weeks later I had a moment of enlightenment and stopped using it. The bumps dissapeared completely in a week. My pimples finally began to improve. A few weeks later I ran out of brow gel so I lightly brushed some aloe through them (hoping I could get some use out of the remaining product.) A few short days later I had two eyebrows full of little white bumps and four pimples. Wtf. From the ingredients list, I can only assume it's from the DMDM hydantoin (known irritant. unnecessary in aloe.) Anyway, if you're not sensitive to the DMDM hydantoin then you're probably fine. If not, save your money and buy actual 100% Aloe Vera gel. Because this stuff has additives that it really does not need !!!!

Pros:

Very soothing for the skin after it has been irritated by acne, sunburn, picking, redness etc.

Does NOT clog pores and therefore does not cause acne.

It is an okay moisturizer.

Cons:

Makes face shiny and sticky. It's not a miracle but I really love this stuff.

Surprisingly helps reduce zits a bit. Some more than others. Greatly reduces redness of zits. It will not do much for old red or brown marks though but it certainly wont hurt. Works for so many things so it's always great to have it around.

Pros:

Helps clear up skin, lessen redness, helps with scars, and its cheap!

Cons:

none so far

I have only been using this product for two weeks but already my skin looks better. I have tried everything, from ProActiv to Clean and Clear, and nothing has worked. After getting burnt on my face, I had to use aloe and was worried that it was going to clog my pores and make me break out. When I looked at the back of the bottle, it said it could be used for blemishes. When I woke up in the morning, my skin was softer and less red. I get cystic acne and suprisingly it has helped. It has also helped with blackheads and whiteheads. I apply the aloe at least three times a day after washing my face really good with Pernox.

Pros:

Natural moisturizer
Protects and regenerates skin cells
Cools and soothes irritated skin
Treats minor burns and cuts.
After sun
After shave/ postdepilatory
Reduces skin marks

Cons:

Nothing

I love aloe vera gel. I use it all the time, sometimes I mix a bit of aloe vera gel with a drop or 2 of tea tree oil for acne/rosacea treatment. It calms my sensitive skin and leaves it soft and glowy. TIP: store it in the fridge for a cooler effect!!

Great!
I've been using aloe vera for at least 4 weeks now. And i have a moderate acne. It does calm and soothes the inflammation , but my acne is still in my face which is kinda sad. But i'm not saying that aloe vera cannot remove pimple. This is just my experience. Maybe it works for you? Who knows.
