Great spot treatment

Pros:

Great spot treatment
Very effective
Works fast

Cons:

Can be greasy

I have been using AHA as a moisturizer and occasionally as a spot treatment. The spot treatment works really well for me. If I feel a pimple coming, I put a little on the area and within one or two days, the arising pimple is gone!

Pros:

Moisturizes Skin, Gets rid of flakes.

Cons:

Makes you sensitive to the sun.
Gave me teeny tiny zits the first week, but they disappeared after further use.

I would definitely make sure you wore a sunscreen daily if you use this. I love how it keeps my skin from having flakes!!!!

Pros:

*Doesn't dry skin out
*Reduces redness
*A miracle for my chest and back breakouts

Cons:

*Not as successful at clearing the clogged pores I get on my forehead

I started breaking out really badly on my chest and back after using a body wash other than Dr. Bronners. Nothing I used helped until I tried this! I apply this to my chest and back after every shower and my chest has been perfect. I also use Glytone retexturizing body wash on my back with a back scrubber while in the shower, since my back is less sensitive and tends to get a lot of clogged pores. I have tried using this to get rid of the clogged pores on my forehead, but I haven't seen the same success that I saw with my body acne. I think I'm going to keep at it for a bit longer since it doesn't seem to make it any worse. I would certainly recommend this product to anybody who has body acne.

Pros:

Exfoliates

Cons:

Causes skin redness, stings, leaves a sticky residue

Cannot leave this product on because of the sticky residue. Can't use it regularly because it causes skin irritation. Possibly works as a mask (washing it off after 10 minutes).

Pros:

Smoother skin, more even skin tone, less redness, smaller pores,

Cons:

I can only apply it in the evening, as combining it with my sunscreen was too irritating. When I apply it in the evening, I sometimes feel a mild sting that goes away quickly.

I love this product! Will buy again!

Pros:

Great spot treatment; brings pimples to a head quickly; great for hyperpigmentation, gets rid of flakiness and leaves skin soft and dewy. Great for bacne/doesn't bleach clothing.

Cons:

you may need to prepare your skin for glycolic acid before using this. it stings when you put it on, and my face gets a bit red. the product can ball up and it can be hard to apply make up afterwards (I splash water on my face to remove excess AHA)

When I first tried this product a year ago, I wasn't impressed. It stung and felt slimy on my skin. It did work well as a spot treatment for small pimples on my back, but for some reason I forgot about it. Since then, I've done lactic acid peels and switched to retin a micro to control my hyperpigmentation/non inflamed acne with moderate results. Anyway, I recently broke out and my skin was so dry from the retin a micro and badly needed moisture and exfoliation. I tried the AHA and had fantastic results. It healed my pimples, exfoliated and moisturized my skin, and the hyperpigmentation marks are fading much faster than usual. It seems like my skin is absorbing the AHA much better - which maybe due to all the other stuff I've tried. It also seems to work better when you use it on its own and give it ample time to absorb into your skin. I am loving this and if I keep getting these fantastic results I will throw out everything else I've been using. Thank you Dan!
