Pros:

None.

Cons:

This product made my skin dry and made my acne worse, my skin got really red and my pimples became more noticeable.

dont use, clean & clear continuous control acne cleanser works 10x better. Probably because of the different active ingredients.

Pros:

I have been on numerous acne meds and none of them would work. I've seriously been on C&C Advantage for 3 days and my face is remarkably clearer and I haven't had any new breakouts....and I'm used to getting a new pimple each day.

Cons:

If you use it wrong...i'm sure your face will feel like its on fire. But if you do like it says and use a thin layer....like I have been doing...I really haven't experience too much pain. It just feels like astringent for a while.

This stuff works wonders!!! I love it. I've tried benzyl peroxide by itself....and Salicylic acid by itself....but have never used both at the same time. Who would have thought that together they would be answer? I've been reading other reviews and lots of people say this stuff is awful for the their skin....but I'm sure that they are caking it on. 10% Benyzl peroxide and 2% salicylic acid are intense amounts of medication. You only need a little. I with the spot treatment, I put a pea size amount on my finger....then I tap it on my forehead, right and left cheeks and my chin. With my other hand I rub it in evenly across my skin. Then with what is left on my finger...I use on zits and problem areas. Anyways....I REALLY recommend this product

Pros:

It has a non-alcoholic scent which is great. I also use the Advantage Toner and Moisturizer so my skin has never gotten dry from using this product.

Cons:

I've been using this for a few weeks now and have yet to see extreme results, but it clears up blackheads nicely. Note that I've always had acne problems though.

Buy this product!

Great Cleanser

Pros:

Clears skin
Works fast
Easy to get your hands on

Cons:

Irritating
Drying

i used this for about two weeks and already it had made a visible difference. Now i have been using this for a month and there are barely any pimples on my face. However, this cleanser did slightly dry out and irritate my skin, therefore i recommend that you have a good moisturizer at hand. But as for clearing my skin, it was phenomenal!

Pros:

None

Cons:

Severly dried my daughters skin.

Bought this product last week. After 1 day it seemed like it was working but then after a few more days the skin was extremely dry and peeling. More blemishes came in areas that there were none before. It is so bad that this morning I made an appointment for a dermatologist. Definitely do not recommend this product.

Pros:

-somewhat helps acne
-feels good when it's on your face
-makes skin feel clean

Cons:

-doesn't completely clear acne
-doesn't prevent breakouts

I bought the little kit with a small bottle of moisturizer and the spot treatment and it worked a little bit, but not significantly. I wouldn't use it again, it just didn't work.

Pros:

* Stops pimples and cysts from emerging.
* Stops skin from getting oily.
* Dries out pimples.
* Good consistency (not too much has to be applied to cover the whole face).
* Leaves skin feeling soft.

Cons:

* Can dry out skin.
* Can cause skin to be slightly itchy.
* Doesn't help with scarring.

I used this product for about a week and saw pretty good results. Pimples were drying out and cysts were decreasing in size although after about 2 weeks to a month i realised that each pimple that emerged would dry out and disappear but red scars were left in their place. I started getting breakouts in places that i usually don't (chin area) and i felt like it spread the acne. I feel like every time i use it the scars get redder and redder and more pimple emerge in their place. Bottom line: If this product feels too harsh on your skin switch to cetaphil. I thinks it almost the same just better. Bottom Bottom line: Don't use it if you have a problem with scarring. I feel it just increases the redness of them.

Pros:

My skin feels smooth and soft after using.

Cons:

It can make skin feel tight if you don't moisturize.

I've used this product on and off for about a year and it does work when used as a combination treatment. At present I am taking 300mg of Trimethopim (Morning and night) and using Clean & Clear facial wash and Aderma moisturiser in the morning. On the evening I used Clean & Clear facial wash with a thin layer of Suedocrem (I mean THIN, like a small pea sized dot on both cheeks and forehead is enough) and then a layer of Nicam gel on the most affected areas - DO NOT APPLY ALL OVER THE FACE OR AFFECTED AREA BECAUSE YOU WILL REGRET IT! You may find you break out alot more in the first few weeks but this is because all the impurities in your skin are being drawn out and it won't matter what treatment you use if it is working you will break out intially in the first 2 weeks, if it progressively gets worse then obviously stop treatment but give it at least 6 weeks. Also if you have severe acne scarring then I suggest buying a Aderma Zinc cream which soothes and calms infected areas.
