Pros:

Cleanser smells fresh & clean. BP lotion is not too drying. Simple three step regimen. Non irritating.

Cons:

Day time lotion is a bit too runny and probably not ideal for oily skin. BP lotion takes a while to absorb.

I don't have too many complaints after using this product. It is not a miracle product by any means. You have to be consistent to see results and altough it probably won't clear your acne completely, it's a good starter kit to keep it under control especially if you're on antibiotics or persciption topicals. The cleanser contains good acne fighting ingredients. It doesn't dry out your skin but it might be different with someone with senstive skin. Mostly ideal for people for light acne.

Pros:

Not really any, except clears up redness a little at first.

Cons:

Made me break out worse than I was before.

I usually use Olay products which work good on me, but have a big family function coming up and wanted to try and clear my face fast, so I picked this up at Wal-Mart. It started to clear up my redness, but did nothing for the acne, then made it worse. I switched to Dove soap (under Dr. advice) but now I am going back to Olay!

Made my pimples dissapear.
My skin is much more smoother.
Got almost complete of my whole acne!

No CONS. except, the cleanser doesnt give you a really deep cleaning.

I like this product a lot it helps with my acne a lot..GOOD PRODUCT. I RECCOMEND THIS FOR MODERATE/LIGHT ACNE! :)

Pros:

Smells nice, and easy to put on.

Cons:

RASHES on my cheeks, irritating, and dries our your skin which results in flakes.

It itches, and it dries out your acne and if you do a simple thing as blushing it will make your face heated making the rash worse. Make sure you have no emotions putting this on! I don't know about the results after a few weeks but I wouldn't want to go through that again.

Pros:

moisturizer doesn't make my skin oily, makes a great base for makeup - but make sure to apply with a wedge, NOT with your fingers!

Cons:

Combination of the scrubbing cleanser and night lotion may overdry sensitive or normal skin types, with peeling in the drier areas on combination skin. Use sparingly!

This was a good thought, but the combination of the three products didn't work too well for me. Had the kit just been the facial cleanser and the Day lotion (moisturizer), this would be a much better option - the Night lotion seems to make problem skin worse by overdrying. Best option to apply both lotions is definitely with a wedge, NOT with fingers - helps reduce overapplication. Combination was well-thought out, but perhaps meant more for the most extreme cases of acne, not moderate-to-mild. I would like to see the kit contain only the cleanser and day lotion, with the night lotion recommended as a spot treatment only instead of an all-over treatment.

Pros:

The product.. it did nothing! No, but seriously. Zero pros.

Cons:

I believe it actually made my acne worse.

This product did not work for me at all. I purchased it because I could not afford Proactiv, and was under the impression it was one of the better skin companies out there. I believe the lack of a benzoyl peroxide cleanser is what did me in, but I can't be certain. Either way, even with an astringent introduced it did not work. Not even a little bit. To boot, after the few months of using the product I have more scarring than I ever did before. While the price was right, there were zero results and the product only made me MORE self-conscious about my skin.

Pros:

clears acne up pretty quick and not too drying

Cons:

does not prevent future breakouts all that well. At first it clears up mostly everything but after awhile breakouts comeback. My forehead cleared up pretty quick but a month later it came back lighter though not good on blackheads. Drys up a little

i would give it a try, depends on severity. mild to light it should be good but not strong enough for severe acne.

Pros:

To those who don't have sensitive skin, it's a great system, it worked really well for a friend of mine.

Cons:

However, it was because of this product that I found out that I have an allergic reaction to benzoyl peroxide. If you have sensitive skin: STAY AWAY. I only used the system for a weekend and I woke up to find out my face was swollen.

I called up Neutrogena and they were great- they refunded my money back via a check in the mail, but as I was saying before in the cons: according to the Neutrogena rep I spoke to on the phone, this system contains a strong amount of benzoyl peroxide, so if you have sensitive skin, either don't buy it or you could use it every other day. In the end, I spent almost $200 going to the derm and buying the medications to make my swelling go down, as well as a topical lotion for my acne, and the gas to get to my derm (the nearest office to me was closed, so I had to go to their sister office, 60 miles away).
