Pros:

only the third day and noticed a HUGE improvement already!

Cons:

makes skin a little dry. Fixable with lotion.

My Brother used proactive when he was about 15 (21 now) and he cleared up almost over night. I used proactive when i was 12 (14 now) and it made my face DISGUSTING. I used clean and clear, but it dried my face out and left my face colorless. Used clinique, and that worked, but after a month, it stopped. and anyway, it wasnt worth the $50 price. After thinking i ran out of options, a girl in my gym class recommended this to me. Its my third day, and i cant believe the difference! All my little colorless bumps are gone, and ive got about 3 pimples on my face that are rapidly clearing up. This is AMAZING!

Pros:

Clears stubborn acne, leaves skin smooth, works relatively quickly.

Cons:

Medications leave skin a little dry and the chemicals have a tendency to age skin quicker -- need a GOOD night cream.

People write, "I have tried everything," and I am no different. I am 26 and have struggled with "stubborn" acne since I was 12. After a horrible turn with Proactiv (a product which I believe is very bad for your skin and would not recommend long-term to anyone) I went to pricey products that seemed to work well, i.e. Kate Somerville, Kinerase, Biotherm, Phytomer, and Erno Laszlo. With all of these products, my skin would look great for about a month and then would get used to the products and the acne would reappear. A few months ago I went to my beauty product go-to, Allure's Best of Beauty list, and read they suggested Neutrogena. In my years I had become a bit of a product snob, believing that the pricier, more organic products would be best. Alas, I was wrong. Neutrogena's acne kit has consistently made my skin beautiful. Hands down. I still use a Kate Somerville peptide cream at night to help reduce the dryness. Bottom Line: Neutrogena = Miracle.

Pros:

works fast, easy to use and dries out my oily skin

Cons:

a little too dry if you don't have oily skin like me? but i don"t mind.

I'm fifteen with mild acne and after the first day, I even felt the difference. I had been using the clean and clear acne system that worked, but stopped after a couple of months. I had to purchase concealer about every two weeks just to cover up the blemishes. Along with the neutrogena system, I purchased the rapid clear acne spot remover. I apply it at night and it works wonders. However, the cleanser is hard to apply for me. Its a little gooey and I almost always drop some on my counter, ha. It is now my second day, and I cant wait to get up in the morning and see the difference from today.

Pros:

Makes my skin clear in a few days. Cheap for the price you pay. Lotion has SPF.

Cons:

Over use can ruin your skin. Lotion can really only be used in the day.

It's been a long time since I've used products with benzoyl peroxide in it so it will dry out my skin if I over use it too early. I've learned to use the product every other night and with a toner to get rid of the dry skin. My kit came with a free spot treatment so I use that when I feel a pimple developing and it gets rid of it quickly. On the nights I don't use the benzoyl peroxide lotion I use a toner and moisturizer to rehydrate my skin and give it a break from the drying effects of the benzoyl peroxide. I would not recommend this product for people with overly sensitive skin. Many people will make the mistake of using this product twice a day, everyday. That will only quickly dry out your skin and make your acne worse than make it better.

Pros:

keeps my skin from developing really bad acne, makes skin nice and smooth

Cons:

takes a while to work on my skin, if I use the sunscreen lotion at night it makes my skin feel kind of greasy.

I've been using this product for about a week. So far, I'd say the whole "works faster than proactive" claim is a lie. But that isn't to say that the product doesn't work.

Pros:

It's cheap, smells good & works.

Cons:

You can't use it more than once a day if you have sensitive skin (like me)

The lotion you apply after the cleanser makes you feel like you just got botox. When you let it dry your face becomes somewhat numb and feels really weird. Apply the sph 15 sunscreen all over where you applied the lotion and it helps. It makes your face feel somewhat tight & it also makes your face kinda itchy if you have sensitive skin. BEWARE though, if you have sensitive skin do not use this more than once a day or you WILL get flaky red nasty skin!

works quickly

Cons:

cant use it more than once a day

this stuff is seriously amazing. i've been using it about 2 weeks and my skin has never been so clear. i never have hadBAF ance but ive always had small bumps on my forehead here and there. Since i've been using it, the bumps are completely gone. my forehead is so smooth. i once in while have gotten the big pimples underneath the skin that hurt and since i've been washing my face with this system i havent gotten one. my face is so smooth. i'm in love.

Pros:

Gets rid of pimples quickly

Cons:

Face gets very dry

Works well enough that I wont stop using it, its worth a little dryness if I can look at my face and NOT see pimples everywhere.
