Pros:

Reduces red marks, cysts, blackheads, oilyness. Actually works fast on pimples.

Cons:

Takes time to work for cystic acne. A little drying, but that's expected.

Amazing product. The first time I used it, it seemed to work right away, my little pimples were dried out and diminished within two days of use, and cystic pimples were reduced in size and redness. It worked for me for about one week then my acne came back. My big mistake was; I stopped using it, thinking that it's another product like Pro-Activ; once my skin is used to it, it will no longer work. But after about a month later, I decided to start using it again, and this time I decided to stick to it, and see how well it works. So I gave it solid 3 weeks for it to do it's thing, and if it doesn't work, then i'm giving up on this. So after about 2 1/2 weeks of use of this system, all of my pimples were gone, my cysts were almost gone. I was very impressed. So now, I've been using this acne system for 6 months, and my face 99% clear (the other 1% is the couple pimples I get during that "month" lol) After having acne for half of my life-time, sometimes I love to closely analyze my skin in the mirror and wonder if the product really is working, or if there are any pimples/cysts coming back lol. But really, it works for me. You just have to be consistent. It works to get rid of acne and prevent future breakouts too. After 6 months of use, if there are days i dont feel like using it, I dont have to worry about acne returning if i stop using the product. Because it's already gotten rid of the major cysts on my face that were spreading the bacteria and making my acne seem impossible to cure. But remember, acne is NOT a disease, so don't be fooled into medications and such, unless as a last resort. Take care of your body, and mental/physical health. That's the first thing. I'm so thankful for Neutrogena developing this product. I no longer have a "pizza face" haha. Btw, I have tried almost everything there is out there for acne besides Accutane. The key is to be consistent, and don't expect it to work right away.even if it does, don't stop using it. Amazon sell

Pros:

Clears Acne
Reduces Size of Pores
Evens Skin Tone
Salicylic Acid helps combat acne scaring and PIH
IT WORKED.

Cons:

Takes a while
requires patience
did not clear my blackheads
SPF lotion made me break out
Dried Skin

IT WORKS. I started using this product in March I think (it's September now) and at first it didn't work very well. I was using the kit as specified and using a clarisonic to cleanse with the cleanser. I discovered that the problem was the SPF in the lotion. The lotion also was not strong enough because this stuff made my skin dry so I switched to Neutrogena Ageless Essentials ® Continuous Hydration Night Cream and that balanced out my skin just fine. My skin improved a boatload but I was still getting a new pimple everyday about 4-5/7 days a week. Then, summer started and I got a little lazy. Somedays I didn't wash my face in the morning and my skin improved! I researched why this may be and discovered that over-cleansing or too much of the Acne lotion could irritate skin. So I tried something new, just to give it a shot. I cut my cleansing back, only using the clarisonic at night and using my hands in the morning. And I started using my acne control lotion only at night. This relaxed my skin. I continued to use the Lotion I purchased as usual and my skin is completely clear, not a breakout in 3 weeks. this system requires dedication but my bottomline reccomendation is: If you have sensitive skin and other products make you break out: Make sure you aren't alergic to SPF If the Lotion's not strong enough, get a new one. (Same brand is best though) Use the Acne Control Lotion once a day at night before moisturizer don't cleanse too much or rigorously. I also switched to Neutrogenas Skin Clearing Makeup (From revlon photo ready) and It hasnt made me break out an inch like revlon used. Sorry this was so lengthy, I just wanted to make sure I reallyyy helped:D TRY IT! :D

Pros:

rs up your face, doesn't have harsh smell, decently priced

Cons:

Dries up your face at first

I started breaking out after getting a Depo-Provera shot. I tried Proactive first and that didn't do the least bit of good. Then I read some reviews on Neutrogena Complete Acne System and decided to give it a try. I've been using it for a little less than a week and so far it is helping. It started clearing up what blemishes I had basically over night. All that's left of them are small red spots that I can cover with make-up. I have one little pimple left on my chin, but I can deal with that after all I've been through with Proactive. I also like that a coupon came in the box for $4 off my next purchase of the system and $2 off my next purchase of any Neutrogena make-up. Side note, I also bought Neutrogena Skin Clearing Blemish Concealer and Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Powder Foundation and they are both really good too. They really cover up blemishes and they feel light on my skin.

Pros:

My skin feels better already.
I used pro activ- this stuff works way better.
I have only been using it a few days but I can already see and feel a difference.

Cons:

The second step is pretty sticky but I believe that is the best step...just use some lotion after is dries and it feels awesome!

This stuff seems to work and for the price you can't beat it. Think about it you would have to pay way more with pro activ plus you have to get it off line.....just download the five dollar off coupon from the website and take it into a drug store....walmart seems to be seeing it the cheapest. Best of luck

Pros:

-easy to use
-can purchase with your groceries
-WORKS!

Cons:

none!

I got this when I turned 17. I would get random pimples on my forehead. I have tried Proactiv, Clinique, DDF, retin-a micro, AcneFree, just to name a few. It's not vanity- it's desperation...you guys know what I'm talking about. I thought it was losing efficacy after about a year...but I was getting pimples because I was drinking wayy too much coffee, and eating sweets too sporadically. (Blood sugar is crucial when fighting pimples-research it) I'm back to using this during the day, with retin-a micro at night. I really like it!!

Pros:

-reduce acne redness
-got rid of some acne

Cons:

-made my skin more sensitive to sun
-dry skin (somewhat)
-a little pricey for me.

I've been using this for almost two years. It really works, but other times it doesn't. I'm very sensitive to the sun now because of this product, so I'm deciding whether or not to change the acne products. Anyways, if you don't have dry or sensitive skin, this product is definitely for you!

Pros:

The cleanser is very light but I was suprised at how well it cleans and smells for that matter,I've used pro-activ before and it feels like your washing your face with sand and smells pretty strong so this is pleasant

Cons:

None so far I've read that a lot of people complain about the dryness and tightening of your face but i look at it as it working,I rather have it dry my face up then it be super oily like with pro-activ but that's my opinion

Its my first day using this product but so far so good.....will update my review in about a week so well see how it goes

Pros:

Clear up problem areas, comes with an oil free spf-15 lotion so you don't get sun spots from the benzoyl peroxide, smells clean, simply works!

Cons:

face feels dry and tight

You have to use this product consistently, as with every other skin product, or it will NOT WORK! You can go to the dermatologist and get countless of prescriptions and if you do not use it everyday the problem won't go away. The only "con" i you would call it that is yes, the dry face, but its not that bad. I mean you have to weigh that against wanting to have clear skin. Honestly, I rather have nice clear skin ;) I have problem areas on my chin and on my cheeks, problems that I can never seem to clear up, but since I've been using this every day and night like you are supposed to I've stopped getting pimples there. Listen, here's the main problem people have with washing their face, they wash it for a while then they get bored or forget or some people don't even wash it unless they have a few pimples. No, that's not how it works. You don't take a shower just because you're starting to stink, you take on everyday because that's hygienic. Same with your face, wash it everyday because it keeps your skin clean. I hope some of you try it out, it works really well!

Pros:

see improvement within the first week

Cons:

drys out skin

I started breaking out last November, started off mild that I completely broke out all over. Everyone I knew was asking me what happen to my once flawless face. people recommended pro active, clean clear, and other acne systems and non off them worked. I tried Neutrogena Advanced Solutions and within the first week i saw dramatic change. Ive been using it for about a month and a half now and im glad to say that 98 percent of my acne has cleared up. This product prevented new acne from appearing, faded some of my acne scars and is clearing up my skin. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT.... I thought there was no hope until i started using this it... i just suggest that you use a different moisturizer, i use biore it moisturizes my skin better
