Pros:

good if you have clear skin already

Cons:

bad if pron to breakouts or are broken out

my skin had cleared up for the most part and i used this product and it seemed to help with the scarring. however my skin broke out and continued use of this product made it worse.

Pros:

it makes your skin really soft

It makes my skin oily, skin becomes red and acne & blackheads start appearing

People who have oily acne prone skin like me, this product is not meant for people with such skin types. it may improve scars but it will increase acne and blackheads on face.the neutrogena microdermabraion system contains silicon oxide crystals and cream, the cream makes the skin all red and blotchy. i just found this website which sells mostly crap products except the silicon oxide "magic crystals" which are pure crystals containing no cream. try this product and you will be amazed. From reading some of the reviews below, I think its safe to assume that for most people with pimples, this product just makes acne worse. I cleared my skin using AcneFree 3-step system, but have some mild scars (light-light brown marks on the sides of my face), this did improve my complexion and lighten some of the scars, they aren't completely gone, but its better than before. So I think if you have relatively clear skin with just scars it will help.

Pros:

This system provides an affordable solution to normally complex and expensive skin problems. It has been engineered to be simple to all users, without sacrificing affectiveness.

To those who have problems using this system, let me give you some tips that should work for everybody. 1. Begin by gently washing (not scrubbing) your face with Cetaphil. If you use anything to wash your face other than Cetaphil, are missing out. Never use soap on your face. 2. Pat dry your face with a clean towel. Your face should already feel cleaner than usual. 3. Use the at home microdermabrasion system as instructed. There is a reason why they include instructions with products. 4. Splash, don't scrub your face with warm water to wash away the product. 5. Use Palmer's Fragrance Free Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E directly after. The combination of Cetaphil, Neutrogena, and Palmer's is the most affordable and best method you could ask for. Don't waste your money or your skin on anything else.

It's quick and relatively cheap when you think of the alternative.

The price

I am in my twenties and never had acne problems until I went to college. I have scaring on my chin and cheeks. This has helped even out the coloring of the scars and smooth out my skin. At first I had a few bumps caused by irritating my skin. If you have sensitive skin put it on the lower setting and only do it once a week. Make sure you get all the lotion and crystals off your skin and everything will be ok.
