Pros:

I thinkit smells good, and I also use is at times to dry up spots- since its salycilic acid basically. I guess my spots faded, but its hard to say if they didnt just do that on their own.

Cons:

Too expensive, like all acne treatments are.

Try it. May work for you.

Neutrogena still sells this, they changed the packaging. You can buy it online here: [link removed]

Cons:

Product should come in a bigger package. It smells, but you can get used to it. It doesn't seem to work very fast.

I paid $8 for this at Kroger's (it's surprisingly more expensive at Wal-Mart). I thought it would work really well since it has a good brand name. I've used it maybe 3-4 times a week for about a month (maybe a little over), and I just now see a scar under my eye fading...slowly. I have some scars on my chin and forehead but it doesn't seem to be helping those. Maybe I need to give it more time, but I'm going to be a bridesmaid in December, so I'm getting a little antsy. Maybe I should've tried Mederma gel first like I'd been planning to. I can't really say if I recommend this or not, as I don't know if I need to give it more time.

Pros:

I was surprised at how quick and easy it was to use. My skin was noticeably softer and smoother after the first application.

Cons:

This product was a little more expensive than I would have expected but worth a try when you compare it to the price of other products that claim to do the same thing.

I don't get acne anymore but I still have the scars from when I used to break out. I haven't been using this product for a very long time but so far, I'm starting to see an improvement in the overall condition of my skin. The lighter acne marks are already starting to fade gradually. The darker ones are taking a little longer but I still can see a change. I use this product every other day at night after I wash my face with St. Ives Apricot Scrub and this regimen seems to be working for me. The smell isn't as bad as a lot of people have been making it out to be. It hasn't bothered me at all and once it dries I can't smell anything. People really need to lighten up. If you're looking for a quick fix, this may not be the right product for you. The box even says clear as day that post acne marks will fade through continued use which means nothing is going to change overnight.

Pros:

Help fades red acne marks in a few days, acne scars however, would take a few months. It also prevents acne. It does as advertised.

Cons:

Smells bad, but I won't die like the other users stated...

Don't expect a miracle but constant usage will help. Bought it at Super Target.

Pros:

Seems to be working, skin is smoother and acne gets burnt off gradually

Cons:

HORRIBLE smell, I can hardly sit through 10 minutes of having it on my face - i feel like vomiting.

I hope the neutrogena people will find the way to make the smell pleasant because frankly speaking its the 21st century and why one of the leading skin brands releases such a foul smelling treatment just boggles my mind. I would fire the marketing director.

Pros:

Actually works...

Cons:

...very slowly that is

Creamy/Gelly Texture with little crystals and unlike the other reviewers on here I noticed noticed nothing wrong with the smell. It almost completely cleared up my newer scars ( 5 months old) in a matter of about 3 weeks. The older deeper scars are logically gonna take a little longer. So If you are going to use this expect it to take time.

Pros:

Helps somewhat but not worth the price.

Cons:

This stuff stinks badly!!

I bought this product like a dummy hoping it would raise a sunken acne scar. What a joke, it will not take that away. I tried it anyhow and it wont fill in the missing skin. I used it for hyperpigmentation as well. It doesnt do much. Not worth the price. Lemon juice is alot cheaper and would be more effective. I think its for red marks after the acne subsides. Overall, the products sucks. It does soften the scars but doesnt do much else. You have to apply it 2x a day and you will only see results after about a month of applying it as it says on the box.
