Pros:

Treats acne to certain extent

Cons:

Can be harsh on skin. Does an OK job of preventing breakouts. Should be less expensive.

Not as effective as claimed. Do your own research -- there are other products (including retin-a, etc.) that are much, much better.

Pros:

CLEANSER IS GOOD,FACIAL MASK IS SUPERB

Cons:

NOT GOOD FOR ACNE

I HAVE USING 1YR BEFORE IT REALLY CLEARS UP MY FACE,NOW I HAVE NO MORE EXISTING PIMPLES.BUT IT DONT WORK AGAINST ACNE

Pros:

Easy to return if you havn't opened package. Does work

Cons:

Too much

If you don't like the cleanser they also give you a toner lotion and mask (the mask does wonders!) so it's good for how many chi=oices you have.

Pros:

- Cleared acne for first two- three weeks
- The repairing lotion is great
- See improvement in first one-two days!

Cons:

- Do not wear anything over the lotion.
- Becomes drying
- Stops working, acne returns
-Skins becomes itchy and irritating
-Expensive (considering effectiveness)

I would not mind paying so much for stuff that works. At first I thought it was a miracle, I have been trying to get rid of acne for years all through middle school I had it and still do. The lotion is great but hard to find separate from the pack. I would definitely recommend the lotion but forget about the other two unless you are looking for an emergency quick fix (lasting two weeks) for an event. Apparently Proactiv has come up with an improved version that I am thinking of trying. Any suggestions?

Pros:

Cleanser works great

Cons:

The customer service is terrible! And that is being kind. It takes several calls/ emails to get anything done and the shipping time is forever.

I have been a customer for over 10 years using the cleanser but their frustrating customer service may cause me to cancel my business with them.

Pros:

I worked pretty good-the refining mask was great!!!

Cons:

it made my skin red, but no bumps
also the oil treatment really dries out your skin- don't use it

I guess everyone is different- but I've used it for aobut a year, and it's still working pretty good, but you should probably also use it with a moisturizer

Pros:

It has been clearing up my acne & I haven't got a pimple since I've been using it ..

Cons:

It drys out your skin , and the first time you use it burns like crazy & made my face itchy

I only been using this product for 3 days and I've seen an amazing amount of change ! My face used to be so smooth and silky but now it really dry , even knoew it has been working my face is too dry , I've been trying to use the green tea moisturizer but it seems to me it's not been working my face hurts it so dry and I have Natually oily skin but I don't know what to do about it , and it still burns a little it ! But on the positive side it has cleared up my acne completely ;o

Pros:

Seemed to work
Easy to have shipped to you

Cons:

A bit of dry skin
Terrible, terrible customer service

Proactiv worked for me during the time that I used it, although I did get quite a bit of flaking/dry skin. I also started Ortho-Tri-Cyclen during the same time period, so I am not sure which was responsible for how much of the change. One point I thought I'd mention - when I wasn't contacting Proactiv, I was fine with it, but their customer service model is really awful. It took about 10 days for them to SHIP the product after I ordered it, which seems ridiculous given their whole business is based online. And cancelling was a nightmare. I cancelled because I am trying to save money, and with the BC, I don't really need anything this strong anymore.

Pros:

It has dried out my acne.

Cons:

Im really dry and have only been using this for about a week...

It's way too early to tell but if this doesn't work I'm switching to Acne Free.

Pros:

It works at first but not later...

Cons:

well if you stop it doesn't work. also it doesn't work for some people. it doesn't help me anyore.

70 dollars

I have been using proactive for a month and a half, and it started working at first. My skin was tight and clearing up. But then after two weeks it was the same. I don't know maybe if i am applying it wrong but it doesn't work anymore. I have been using it twice a day.
