Pros:

None. It really didn't to anything at all.

Cons:

It's expensive, and since it really didn't work, it was just a waste of money.

I would not buy this again.

Ive been using Proactiv for four months and it seems to ahve just stopped working. It worked for the first 2 weeks, then nothing. I followed all the directions EXACTLY and it still was not worth the money and effort. It was such hastle having to do a 3 step process, because you had to wait for the frist step to dry. I personally wasnt fond of it and am now trying Neutragena Daily Oil Free Gentle Scrub. We'll see how that goes.

Pros:

The sulfer mask is pretty good.
Sounds good.

Cons:

Dried out my skin.
Didn't work.
Expensive.

I've had mild acne since I was 15 and I'm 25 now. I seem to always have one or two blemishes and I finally gave into the commercials and bought proactiv. For the first couple of weeks, it seemed to be working, then it started drying my skin. My skin become scaly and redder and worse, my skin began to break out the same as before using it. I stopped using it after a month of this and returned the product. I will sasy this for proactiv, they do return your money with little fuss. Btw: I started using Alpha Hydrox Souffle last week and I've noticed an improvement in pore size and my acne scars are less noticable, and my skin is smoother.

Pros:

Softer skin, good clean feeling.

Cons:

Didn't clear my skin.

It simply isn't the magic potion they claim it is. It maintained my skin when it was clearing up, but when I had a breakout, forget about it.

Pros:

it cleared up my acne at first

Cons:

it dried out my skin severely, got acne in places i never had it before.

i used Proactivfor about a month and it seemed to clear it up at first but after a while it severely dried my skin and it was peeling! i had light acne and proactiv took my acne to moderate. i broke out in places i had never had acne before like my cheeks and nose. recently i purchased clinique acne solutions and it is working much better for me! hope this helped!!

Pros:

Ok pretty much the only pro is the mask that comes with the package it makes most zits go away if used properly (not over using)

Cons:

-only worked for the first week
-missing it once will cause in a HUGE breakout with stinging feeling
-my face is much worse then when i first used it......

-works great the first week but then makes your skin much worse bringing bigger zits and more white and black heads. -huge break outs after using (if missed treatment once) and it pretty much changes your skin. -if you have sensitive skin this is not the treatment for you and if u think proactive is the best sollution cuz u see it on tv u are dead wrong -but hey it works for some people but if u have moderate or mild acne this is NOT for you and i wouldnt throw my money away.

Pros:

Starts to work shortly after you start the regimen but then stops working and leaves your skin feeling dry.

Cons:

After a couple of weeks it seems like it makes your skin worse. Too drying.

I tried it thinking it would really help. I have dealt with moderate to moderately severe acne issues for about 10 years and was very hopeful with this product line. I continued to use this line because I wanted to give it a fair shot but I am totally disappointed with the results. It has never cleared my skin except for a little at first and I dont know that that was just coincidence or if it was the products. It is very drying and I seem to have more oil production in my T zone area now.

Pros:

-worked within a week or two

Cons:

-it worked but not for long
-inconsistent
-expensive as hell
-doesnt help much with super oily skin(like mine)

When I bought this product, it worked for only about 3-4 weeks. It cleared the acne(not the blemishes so much). But after that it stopped working for me and my acne eventually came back even thought I continued using it for another two months.

Pros:

if dry, red skin that flakes off is your thing

seriously speaking, this medication is intended for people with little-to-no/infrequent acne. It's not the miracle cream that Jessica Simpson and pals would like you to believe. The commercials this product runs are a complete sham and absolute joke. They had to zoom in 342x just to locate a pimple on Jessica Simpson's face, and the only reason she claims it works for her, or people like her, is because they didn't have bad acne to begin with. It's very disheartening to use this product day in and day out and not see any noticeable difference WHATSOEVER in my face (other than irritation, of course). Go to a dermatologist so they can recommend stronger medication if you have moderate/severe acne because it is vanishingly unlikely that it will clear up your skin if you do. Also a word of advice to people who are searching to clear their acne: be wary of companies that "guarantee" their products will be the cure to all your acne woes, they're the ones that are likel

Pros:

Website and pamphlets packed with helpful information.

Cons:

My skin became more oily and I broke out all over my face instead of just my forehead/chin (which are the only areas I had a problem). Because I purchased online, I received unwanted shipments and had to send several emails to get my acct closed.

The product didn't work. I am left with worse acne than I had to begin with.
