Pros:

Smelled good, affordable, and i love the face mask.

Cons:

It didn't work its just that simple. It made my skin dry and itchy also would make my face burn at times when I applied other creams (sunscreen etc.) also caused redness.

It doesn't work on me. I know people who have tried it and had' wonderful things happen but for me it just made my face look and feel like a stinging itching red mess.

Pros:

it prevented me from getting breakouts :) but i have some scars so it didnt help those obviously [for scars use Neutrogena's Fight N Fade]

Cons:

its not totally consistent...you might have to take a little break off of it here and there. but it depends on your skin type. i guess mines the one it usually works for. but its really expensive

try it out! dont expect magic happening overnight though...you have to stick with it for about 6 weeks.

Pros:

I have only had this product for about a day or two, and I like it so far. It makes my skin feel clean and there were some results after just a few hours!

Cons:

It does sting a little, but other than that, it works pretty well.

Give it a try. It depends on what kind of skin you have. I've had it for a day, and I've seen results. So far, it's a good product, but we'll see what happens. It works way better if you buy some of the extra products, like the oil blotting pads, concealer, and refining mask, which means you have to pay a lot more $$$, but they work like a charm.

Pros:

This product gets shipped right to you, you don't have to go out and buy it whenever you run out and it is unscented.

Cons:

It makes acne worse, there are 3 steps, you have to use the first step for 1-2 minutes, it makes skin oily, and it is expensive.

This product doesn't work and it is too expensive and you have to pay $40 every two months. It makes acne worse and it doesn't help at all. I hated this product. It is too much of a hassle to do all three steps twice a day. It also mad my face feel oily.

Pros:

clears pimples

Cons:

doesnt clear blackheads, burns skin, dries it out

it worked pretty good for me. everyone says it gets worse before the acne starts to clear but after the first day of using proactive, i already saw some of the acne clear up. it didnt clear everything, but it cleared a lot of it.

Pros:

Simple 3 step process...

Cons:

Toner made my skin burn and itch very badly only and in the end I had very dry skin.

Why are people paying $50 for this product? Because something had to pay for Jessica Simpson's paycheck. Proactiv works initially, only to dry skin out terribly leading to further breakouts. In the end, it's not worth it.

Pros:

Did clear up acne, left my skin feeling less greasy.

Cons:

Makes skin dry and itchy, stopped working after a while. Also very expensive and annoying to order off the website, which has automatic shipping.

I have struggled with acne since my early teens. I had terrible acne all over my face, mainly forehead and chin, and after seeing several dermatologists and many prescription medications, nothing would help. I decided to try proactiv after my sister had tried it and it worked for her. I could feel results after the first use. It did clear up a lot of my acne and made my skin feel soft, but after about 2 years of use I have stopped seeing any results. I am now looking for a new regimine.

it's a waste of time

Pros:

worked really good for a while. cleared up most of my acne

Cons:

but after a couple months, STOPPED WORKING! no matter what i did, it would not clear up my face any more. I had to find a new product.

works good at first, but eventually stops working! Was also kind of pricey, definitely not worth it!

Pros:

It makes my cheeks feel nice and smooth. It maintains small zits on my face, but I don't tend to break out that much.

Cons:

Whenever I DO have my "monthly breakouts" (from hormones, I guess), Proactiv suddenly doesn't seem to work for me. Dries my skin out around my upper lip, nostrils, and between my eyebrows to the point of where it is flaky and embarrassing.

I have combination skin and Proactiv does not do a good job of keeping my skin moisturized while keeping my nose free from oil--in fact, my nose is normally oilier whenever I use Proactiv. It dries my skin out in all of the wrong places and, as I mentioned as a con, it leaves my skin flaky in areas that I can't hide. It doesn't work very well to remove makeup before I go to bed (I take my showers in the morning). I have been using Proactiv for four or five years now, and it seemed to work much better for my skin in the beginning. Plus, whenever I try out a new product on my face, my skin freaks out and breaks out and I have to go back to Proactiv... so it's like I HAVE to use it or else I will face the consequences. I'm currently trying to find another acne product for my face. Sorry to betray you, Proactiv.
