Pros:

Package was pretty, containers are pretty

Cons:

I'm not allergic to anything, (haven't been in all of my 19 years of life) - but Proactiv triggered something in my face to spread to my ear and made it smell horribly. I had to have a doctor go in my ear and have extreme water pressure to see if it was anything else. It hurt.

Don't use it, it's just like all the other face cream out there (and has all the other cautions the other creams come with) - only with a bigger price.

Pros:

Apparently this does work for some people

Cons:

Does not reduce acne
makes skin more oily for the first week or two
bleaches fabric
smells terrible

I heard that this was the most effective product to reduce acne, but I certainly hope not, because it did nothing for me except make my skin more oily and leave bleached marks on my pillowcase. It also is more expensive than similar products from other brands.

Pros:

Toner feels good and soothing

Cons:

Very drying
Expensive

I started getting acne in my late twenties and didn't have them and a teen. I have tried Proactive years ago and it wasn't as harsh as the new stuff is now. My face is so dry I am putting on lotion all the time to try and sooth it. I am usually a very oily. I don't mind the toner at all. I have found that Neutrogena is good. Neutrogena Deep Clean with no medication in it all does really well for me and clears me up the best. It can be drying and it doesn't have Benzoyl or Sslicylic in it. I could just have a problem with those types of medications. No, Proactive was not good on my skin at all.

Pros:

-Definately cleared up acne.

Cons:

- It dries up my face from time to time, but thats why you use a good moisturizer. Or even scrub very hard so it basically takes that layer of dry skin off your face. It's nothing difficult to get rid of!

This product actually works! I don't get why so many people are making such a fuss about it. Sure, it's not gonna clear things up within overnight. But then again, what does? Just a little dedication and a some patience, and this will do the trick!

Pros:

NONE!!!

Cons:

I was very disappointed after all the hype of the product. IT DIDN'T WORK AT ALL AND EVEN SEEMED TO MAKE IT WORSE.

Watch out. . .Cause they autmatically set you up for reordering when placing your initial order. Didn't pay attention when I ordered it and I got charged automatically. The same thing with the vitamins.

Pros:

-somewhat cleared up my acne
-easy to use

Cons:

- took me more than a month to see the difference
- to aggrassive
- stings
- expensive for such a harmful product

Alright, I bought Proactive because my best friend had clear skin after she tried it. After I used it the first time, it stung badly. My face became very dry and flaky. It especially got worse in cold weather. I didn't see a difference for months! It cleared up some acne but also made non-existent acne appear. So I'm really unsure if it made my skin better or worse. I still use it till now but I use the cleanser twice a week, the toner once a week, and the moisturizing lotion once in awhile. I've been using other products with it now...and my skin is soo much better. But one thing I hate about it was that I wasn't aware that they keep shipping more Proactiv every 2 months! My mother checked her visa and found out that Proactiv has been taking money from her account several times even though we never recieved the shipping. So we had a tough time with the customer service but eventually cancelled the product completely. TRY NOT BUYING IT ONLINE. But I still would recommend this product, because it depends on the skin type.

Pros:

- it doesn't smell bad
- easy to use, 1, 2, 3 steps

Cons:

- expensive
- harsh
- burns skin
- etc.

I stopped taking the birth control pill and started getting pimples in my hair line and on my chin (I always had clear skin before that) so I decided to start using Proactiv hoping it would prevent getting more pimples. I started using Proactiv Monday night (today is Thursday), morning and night as suggested on the product. I also dabbed a little bit of the refining mask on the big pimple I have on my chin before going to bed. I noticed that it went down in size a bit, but it obvisouly didn't disappear like they say on the commercial! But I wasn't expecting that anyways... What it does is drying it out and then you are stuck with a nasty scab. Anyways, last night I noticed that a rash started on my neck, cheeks and forehead, which is very itchy. It doesn't really show but when I touch my skin it is very bumpy. I noticed it after I had washed my face already so it started to burn really bad. This morning I decided not to use Proactive again but right now my skin is still burning. If the product gives me a rash and burns my face after only a few days, I don't want to think about what my face would look like after a month. It might be an allergic reaction though...who knows? I think the product is very strong and is not adequate for everybody. It even says on the bottle that the product might bleach your hair and clothes... Skin is a very sensitive organ and I think we should all avoid using harsh products and Proactiv is definitely one. The cleanser is an exfoliant and most dermatologists recommend to use exfoliants only 1 or 2 times a week. I do not suffer from severe acne and I am probably not as desperate to find the miracle product, but I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. I don't think that a miracle product to cure acne exists and I don't think it will ever exist - therefore I think Proactiv's commercial is far-fetched and gives false hope.

Pros:

Left my skin smooth.

Cons:

Increased redness.
Increased acne to non-prone areas.
Severe itchiness.

I have moderate acne and I tried everything. So, after seeing the infomercial, I decided to be dumb enough to purchase this product. Singlehandedly the biggest mistake of my life! Not only did it not work for the 60 day trial, it BUTCHERED my forehead. Nasty, nasty, nasty! DO NOT BUY! Returned the product on day 60 and finally my acne is disappearing! Well, who would have thought?
