Pros:

My skin wasn't oily
Improved acne a little bit

Cons:

Didn't help my huge blackheads
Did nothing for cystic acne
Expensive
Time-consuming

I used Proactiv for three years. It was okay, and my acne was improved a little bit. I still had large, awful blackheads constantly, and I broke out a lot on top of that. I don't mind paying for acne treatments, but it was very expensive - too expensive for something that hardly worked at all. Finally I got tired of the big, inflamed blackheads that took months to go away and came back immediately, so I stopped using it. The only good thing about it was that my skin was never oily, which was a pretty big plus for me. Even so, I wouldn't recommend it.

Pros:

Its nicely packaged with alot of reading material. The repairing lotion is helpful when used consistently

Cons:

The scrub doesn't lather and the toner is the equivalent to witch hazel. Too overpriced for something that really didn't work for me.

Skip it, I'm much happier with using the Regimen which is cheaper and gentler.

Pros:

Initially reduces new blemishes.

Cons:

Stops working after a very short while. Over dries skin and lends so significant increase in oil production.

This stuff is crap. It's over-priced, it only works (and not very well at that) for the first few weeks. It made my skin WAY oilier. Since I've stopped using it and my skin oil has gone back down to normal production levels. I'm not going to waste my money on this garbage anymore. The only Proactive product I like are the make-up removing cloths. They're actually gentle and very effective. I use these, and a green tea gel cleanser along with a green tea moisturizer. I'm far better off now.

Pros:

Works well for the first year or so.

Cons:

Rough on skin, drying, time consuming, and completely STOPS working after using it for a certain amount of time. Expensive.

This product worked well and I had flawless skin for about one year. Then suddenly I started breaking out along my chin, cheek, forehead, and nose. In cysts. The price is way too high for the amount of medication you get. Proactiv is a scam, bottom line.

Pros:

None.

Cons:

It dries out your skin like crazy and it forms more pimples.

I used this product for months thinking it would clear up my acne. What a waste of time and money. It dried out my skin like crazy almost cracking it. Despite the use of the "moisturizer", I continued to dry up and form more acne. This product line uses too much BP in it. Overall, I wouldn't suggest using this product if you have sensitive skin. It claims to be for all skin types but I disagree.
