Pros:

None

Cons:

Dried out my face so bad my skin turned black, (not brown but black like leather). I cried for 2 days.

Dont buy it. You will grow out of it.

Pros:

This acne system didn't dry out my skin at all, and it was easy to use and keep up with.

Cons:

Proactiv is kind of expensive, and if you have it automatically delivered, it doesn't come nearly often enough. It also didn't seem very effective, my acne stayed the same over the six months I used the system, at times it was even worse.

Costly, a hassle to obtain, and for someone with moderate to sever acne, not worth it.

Pros:

None that I can tell

Cons:

itchy jawline and all the sudden swollen eyelids?!?!?!

Might be for some people.

Pros:

It definitely does work, but you need to make a religion out of using it twice a day.

Cons:

Missing even one session caused some of my pimples to come back.

I had pretty severe acne that even prescription topical treatments weren't really helping, so I tried proactiv, and found it to help quite a bit. It was worthwhile to switch for me.

Pros:

Fresh feeling, nice fragrance, can use all over body, improves acne!

Cons:

Very harsh and drying. Makes skin itchy if u dont use lots of moisturiser. VERY EXPENSIVE!

I used Proactiv 2 times a day for 2 months, just like the steps say too. Problem was, for 3 or 4 weeks i didnt use moisturiser!! my skin was terrible. so, i combined jojoba oil and moisturiser to my 3 steps, and that cleared up the flakes. my skin was slowly getting less sore and less breakouts occured. my skin was on track--but--then school came back! i had no time in the mornings and i couldnt stand going to school with shiny moisturiser like skin! so, i changed to simply doing my face at night. It has slowed my clearing, and my acne is popping up on my nose, and i get the occasional pimple, but i just pop it and it goes quickly! Proactiv hasn't cleared my skin like on the ads- but it is so much better than before, and my face doesnt hurt. i've been using it once daily on weekdays, and sometimes 2 times on weekends, and i have the occasional pimple, some breakouts and oiliness on my nose, but its better than before! One problem- AU$69 for what u get is WAY TOO MUCH! but do try it!

Pros:

makes skin smooth prevented outbreaks but didn't clear up existing blemishes

Cons:

customer service sucks

proactiv is worth a try but is useless if not used consistency and bottle sizes are smaller than advertised.

Pros:

I had a couple of pimples only and mostly tried it to clear up annoying blackheads on my nose. The pimples disappeared within just a week of use.

Cons:

The blackheads didn't change one bit, and the system was incredibly drying. My entire face started to peel and flake like I was a leper or something.

Way too harsh and expensive. It might work if you have very oily skin so it doesn't overly dry it out, but for me it only made things worse. I'll take a couple of pimples over my entire face feeling tight, burning, and flaking off.

Pros:

see less pimples and severity and duration of blemishes not as bad

Cons:

pricey, does not help blackheads or clogged pores.

not the miracle product they want you to think it is but does help with moderate acne worth giving it a shot.

Pros:

smells good.

Cons:

doesnt work! can make skin sensitive and kinda hurt.

i used this when i was 12 for about a year and thats when i started to get bad acne! it pretty much stinks! the repairing lotion can make skin fell painful when touched! jessica, kelly, and lindsay may have had good results from proactive(which i doubt)but they are only 3 people, and they also get like weekly facials and stuff like that! dont use it!

Pros:

takes out the blackheads & dead skin

Cons:

works well for 2 weeks and the rest is just no help. not consistent

I've decided to use proactiv when i was 14 yrs. old, I told my dad to buy it for me because at the time I had layers of dead skin on my face, and i was released by my dermatologist. First, it was great, my skin looked clean, and pores looked smaller. So, I used it for about 8 months but within those months my skin was never completely clear. So, I stopped, then go back again, then stop, then go back, then one day my parents decided to give me Murad, which made my skin worse. So I went back to proactiv, but decided to go to a derma and I used Retin-A, and tetracycline. But didn't really help. So, i went back to using proactiv, but in the end it doesn't really help. It gave me a lot of cystic acne w/c i don't usually have! WHY DOES ACNE GETS WORSE AS I GET OLDER? I am now 19 years old. And my acne has never been worse like this! But, proactiv works well if you have a good diet, I've tried the perricone diet while using proactive and it made my skin better. but it's hard to stick to
