Pros:

refining mask works

Cons:

over-priced, smells like kindergarten craft paste, does not work

Ive used proactiv for years.. I used to have horrible acne in middle school where my face would rash and proactive got rid of the rashes for the most part. But I still have moderate acne and im in my first year of college. I have breakouts every other week, once one breakout heals. If i had before and after pictures, there would be no significant difference. I finally decided to switch to exposed acne treatment considering that it got many good reviews. I will definately comment on how that works, if it does! Overall, I do not recommend buying proactive. Look up other product reviews such as Exposed Acne Treatment before wasting your money. =]

Pros:

None.other then the fact that you can return it but I still didn't get all my money back

Cons:

I thought this was working will for the first week but then it broke me out and then I got the biggest zit that I ever had in my life .it is also very drying and it will bleach your clothes white...it says that it might stain in the fine print...

Its not natural( I prefer natural products) so your skin will look bad when get older.....I you are using this stuff don't use it around your eyes this will start premature aging

Pros:

doesn't dry skin out, smells nice

Cons:

doesn't work like it swears it does.

it's not worth it.. it works pretty good for about a week and gets your hopes up, then it just stops working, probably because your skin gets used to it. totally not worth the money, and honestly the best thing to do is just visit a real dermatologist. it may be expensive, but atleast they know what they're talking about. DON'T WASTE $$ ON PROACTIV.

Pros:

Dry, very strong, doesn't work well, expensive, poor customer service, poor delivery.

Cons:

It used to work.

I've used this product for more than a year and after a month it started to work but after a while this product is just a pain. Very expensive compared to other acne products and poor service I ended up refunding my last product and canceling account my. Do not buy this product seriously you won't benefit from it!

Pros:

Starts to clear acne on first day.

Cons:

Drys out skin ...you must moisturize!
Does nothing for pores and blackheads.
Toner runs out to quick.
Can't wear makeup.

I have just started proactive and so far I have mixed feelings about it. On the very first day my face felt amazing and my acne seemed a hell of alot better. I even hoped I could go with out makeup for the first time in years. But now a week into the regimen my face feels dry and painfully irritated. My mom says my skin looks alot clearer and is getting much healthier. However according to friends and the proactiv site itself you must wait about three months before clear skin.According to them the first few weeks are the worse as the regimen starts to work drying out your skin, killing the bacteria. I plan on sticking to it and then talking to my doctor about an alternative regimen if it does not work. As I plan on having clear beautiful skin for when I go off to college in the fall. Wish me luck!

Cons:

Didn't work, ridiculously expensive, was like pulling teeth to cancel membership

I paid a fortune for this stuff and was hoping that this would Finally do it. I was let down again. It got a bit clearer but went back to the way it was after using it for a while. Waste of time and very discouraging.

Pros:

Worked for about 3 months.

Cons:

Ineffective after 3 months.

I would pay anything to have clear skin these days. I'm 25 and I have sensitive skin with cystic acne around my chin. It's really embarrassing. I always had great skin until my 20's. This product requires the use of a light oil free moisturizer after use. It will dry skin. After 3 months, my skin plateaued and stopped responding to this product. It broke my heart, I thought I had found my answer.

Pros:

Product does work.....

Cons:

If you can wait 2-3 weeks after they've billed you. Don't even think about calling 'customer service' about your bill, they'll chew you up and spit you out leaving you feeling like a complete idiot! (She even claimed I couldn't read).....

After the first billing of the 29.95 for the kit plus 2 "free bonus gifts", I was billed an additional 29.95, (I assumed this was for the following shipment) A month later I was billed an additional 37.50. To get to the bottom of all the billing and NOT receiving any products I called "Customer Service", after 10min of dealing with their horrible automated directory I finally got someone on the phone, she told me that the 2 "free bonus gifts" is actually a 5 piece kit that comes to about 70 bucks a month! (No wonder 'B' list actors and 'D' list musicians support this product, they can't afford it on their own) The price doesn't bother me, it was how RUDE their "customer service" is... and they'll bill your account whenever they choose....
