Pros:

-Face felt smooth after the first wash.
-Nothing else.

Cons:

-Price
-Dries skin
-Doesn't wok
-Everything, basically

My first thought is this: WOW! I thought I would give this a try since they offered free shipping. What did I have to lose except for my pimples (and money)? The face wash had an unpleasant smell, but I figured that was a small detail that could be overlooked if the product actually worked. The beads are also very scratchy and uncomfortable. Also, the toner smells like eggs. After the first use, my skin felt smooth. I was feeling good. I tried it again the next day with similar results. But the third day is when it began.... I washed my face right before bed and noticed it was burning. It 'twas rather uncomfortable. But I ignored it like someone in a horror movie ignores the mysterious footsteps and decides to go to sleep anyway. I used it again the next morning. It. Was. Awful. My face was burning terribly. It was raw and red, as if I had been sunburned, and it burned for several hours after use. My skin felt scaly and rough, like an crocidile's hide. I tried to cover the pimples that Proactive FAILED to eliminate. The make-up burned even more. I vowed to never use this toxic waste on my face again. Two weeks later, and my skin is still dry and peeling. It looks like I smeared Elmer's glue on my face, let it dry, and tried to peel it off. I have used face washes that have dried my skin before, but nothing has ever compared to this. Nothing! Everyone's skin is different. This was terrible for me, but it might be good for you. Just be aware that if you have sensitive skin, this is not for you. Save your skin. Use something else. P.S. I only paid $20 for it because I tried the trial size. Still isn't worth it.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Didn't work at all and the company charged my account for product I didn't recieve and I have yet to recieve a refund and it's been 6 months. Everytime I call they claim my account is "all screwed up" and they don't know why I was charged and I should recieve a check in a few weeks. HA! I've called 8 times already!

Don't buy from this company at all! They'll rip you off!

Pros:

less pimples

Cons:

dry skin
my nose gets a little oily & proactiv did not change that
did not receive 2nd package
entire package is actually $60 - 3 monthly payments
cancelled proactiv account & then they sent me another package & STILL charged my account.

I would not recommend Proactiv, they are a hoax! I wasted SO much money for NOTHING! Their customer service is crap, when I called the only thing "Jose A" told me was "I can take 20% off your next payment" ...payment to something that I canceled! Whatever I just don't want anything more to do with them & I would suggest you the same!

Pros:

some reduction in pimple size
other than that, absolutely nothing!!!!!!!

Cons:

dried skin
redness
severe pain and irritation
costly
rough on sensitive skin

i have only used proactive for 3 days and i have already regretted getting it. the secod time i used it i began to notice dryness and it just got worse from there. my skin began to enflame and was sooo red. the it started burning and i just wanted to strip the product off of my face! my acne even started to get worse! i had more bumps on my cheeks even though proactive is supposed to prevent new pimples. i never should have bought it. if someone tells you to try proactive, dont! you and your skin will regret it. it actually makes your acne worse. try using neutrogena. it is much safer and soothing for sensitive skin.

Pros:

good, decent products

Cons:

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND POLICIES EVER!

decent products, but BEWARE! when u sign up online, theres a catch.. u agree to automatic shipments and they take automatic payments from your bank account without authorization or notice. This cracks me up, because with my first and only shipment (i returned the next shipment), they sent along a letter that said "We've changed and improved! No more automatic shipments! From now on, you get the products you need WHEN you need them". And yet here they sent me product i didnt need and charged me anyway. Ok so i returned it, after I saw that they charged me, which by the way, caused my account to be overdrafted causing further charges. So i returned it, thinking ok, ill get my money back "in 4-6 weeks" like the customer service said. thats all they could say. but yet, today, one month AFTER i returned my shipment, my account is being charged AGAIN. I call customer service, and same thing: "4-6 weeks". Im asking them did they receive my return? Once again, they dont know, all they can tell me is "4-6 weeks". Every single time, Ive called customer service, they seem so unintelligent, and interrupt me everytime i try to talk with the "4-6 week" business. no more information other than that... that is ridiculous! all i wanted was to TRY the product, and here I am, two months later, still having a headache because of them. I DO NOT recommend buying from them, unless you find the kiosk at the local mall.

Pros:

None - Ordered for my daughter who was allergic to the product

Cons:

I called and told them I would not continue to use the product and they continue to force ship the product charging my credit card for the shipment. I am told I will not be shipped future orders and to return at my expense and I will be refunded which I never see.

Do not pay with a credit card in the event you do not want to be force shipped product. I am on the third shipment and with every phone call and complaint I continue to be billed for product which is not even being delivered to my current addres..

Pros:

None

Cons:

Where do I begin? It never worked. Ever. And the company is dishonest.

The company is unethical. I canceled over a month ago and even checked my bank account to make sure I was canceling before they charged me again and shipped another box. Guess what - they still shipped a package. I mailed it back and am still waiting for a refund. AND to top it off...just checked my bank account and they charged me again this month and I am sure I'll have another shipment waiting for me at my house one day soon. Awful company - worst customer service experience I have EVER had. PLUS, when I initially signed up they had a special...only 29.95/month. And yet I never paid that price. I always paid $65 a month (hoping and praying my acne would clear) because they were sending me two free gifts. How does that work? I thought FREE meant "no extra charge." Sigh...
